I also think the production house should have tried promoting the show more.

Like Dev said, the cvs did not utilise the leads well. NiMik had such awesome chemidtry! Sadly it wasn't utilised at all:(

We just had a handful, or even less than, of what we can call romantic scenes. They should have focused on the love story instead of creating more MUs.

I would not mind a second season provided it's as good as the first 90 episodes:):)

I disagree some of the members here...type of promotion other show got on that basis... Trp is not good at all...on the contrary edkv from last month going through such a rough time..still managed 0.4 even in such critical time...

The only way is to have only 100 episodes in the show. I am all for it 😊

The solution to this problem is a channel should come up showing seasonal shows by which quality is maintained and crews, actors etc get time to rest and refresh

I don't think that PH and CVs are completely at fault. As far as I know, channel hold all the rights to decide everything about a show. Whether if its a story line or replacement of any actor.. or anything else.

After 100th episode of EDKV, channel must have forced to add and drag that Preekar marriage track. Niki's health and those filler episodes were just some unfortunate coincidences, nothing else.

And when it comes to TRPs, the promotions and TRPs of other so called successful shows of Sony, doesn't even match to each other. Ok, and if Kapil Sharma or Dance show is getting highest TRP then, channel should dare to telecast these shows in weekdays also, that too in a prime time slot. WOuld they be able to maintain those TRPs then? I doubt.

If I'm guessing right, they must have forced the PH of KRPKAB to change its story line and make it a typical saas-bahu saga. If that PH wouldn't have agreed to do this, then that show would have gone off air, even before EDKV.

These SOny people are so much confused. They want to show some different stories, but still want to remain in the race of TRP with other typical shows of other channels. And they end up making a mess with their own shows. I really pity them.

P.S.-In some earlier episodes of Hanumanji show, they dared to show some romance between Hanumanji's Parents. I mean, was it necessary to show it in that Mythological show? And even Maharana Pratap serial was also dragged, just for the TRPs.

Purely from a trp perspective edkv is in bottom
Two right now. Once beyhadh starts, based on its trp KRPKAB may be in bottom two also .

Sony doesn't care about anyone's emotion. It cares about business.

As for EDKV, Sony stopped promoting it long back. Even people who left KRPK recently and joined EDKV have wondered why Sony had stopped promotions so long before and they had not seen it.

There is only one new show coming up ,then y r they scraping 2 shows. Trp has been the same ever since edkv started. In couple of months it would have ended any ways. Don't know what sony achieved by doing this. Our creatives definitely failed us. In a bid to attract trp audience they started the crappy track. It was dragged for too long. There could be no convincing answer to that. Only good thing about last few episodes are the performances of the cast. Story has gone haywire.

I also read that a lot of people are not happy with the current track of that show. But for the sake of the fans I hope Sony will let them tell their story if the TRPs go down at all.

There is no story there.

So they don't have to worry about the story not being told! 😆
