Shravan Mahotra was one of the biggest reasons I got hooked to this show in the first place!! TBH this happens so rare for being a hardcore feminist I mostly side with the FL. Atleast that has been the trend for the three shows I have followed till now. But EDKV was different. Here the ML and his pain had something so compelling and real about it I could not help but love him for all his flaws. His character graph so magnanimous and well-etched you can feel for him despite all his blemishes and mistakes.
Months were spent building up his anger, his frustration, his helplessness. Every action of his given a valid reason. You could literally cry a bucket over all the struggles of his journey - The rejection from his mom, the self-doubt, the inferiority complex, the unconditional insane one-sided love for a lesser emotionally involved partner, everything! But alas at the end of it, all his pain, his love, his good nature and the amounts of excruciating ache that transformed him into a devil, everything reduced to a joke like this?🤢 I am sorry CVs, but this is the worst you could have done to the viewers. You could not live up to the best character of your show - THE SHRAVAN MALHOTRA!! 💔
In case you really had to show your FL as the one who cares so much to "provoke" her husband towards the right path, you should have done this from the beginning. You should have shown her care and genuine concern for him from the beginning. I really don't get this sudden kind of concern for him. We kept on begging, please show some growth on Sumo's part. At some point when she can feel his pain and relate to it, and do something to alleviate it. But that never happened. The whole PreeKar shaadi track, she cared two hoots about his pain and now this sudden concern!! Sumo says someone needs to needle you Shravan so that your self-respect and fighting spirit comes back...LOL really??? I never knew how scratching the same wound time and again heals it. Is this the value of all the pain Shravan went through???
I am sure the same is gonna happen in the next two days - So Shravan is proved to be the only culprit while Nirmala and Sumo walk away with all the mahaanta?? Probably meaning Shravan was wrong in case he hated his mother who left him all by himself at a tender age without even caring to look back once and see how her son looks!! 🤢 And ofcourse she was reasonable to abondon her son like that because of a self assumed almost irrelevant reason.
All I can see is this is the worst you could have done to this show CVs. After seven months into believing why even a misogynist, arrogant rude Shravan Malhotra is the best thing that happened to this show, you snatched all his journey, his pain, the meaning and value of his love all in one go. .I cannot forgive this...because you snatched my muse, my reason of addiction to this story - My deep-rooted attachment to Shravan's pain!! By belittling his pain and his journey as something so trivial and worthless you actually ruined your own story. Thankyou for ending this show earlier than planned, Sony was right, it didnt deserve to go beyond.
