Dedicating this to the excuse of a costume designer of this show, who had managed to make two very good looking leads pathetic at times. Wishing you luck in finding an alternate career. and a long break.
ShraMan, the witch and their wardrobe
Once upon a time, long ago, too long ago, a Phony witch from Nippon took control of the SuckerForRomance Souls from across globe thr' her magical potion called EKDV. The apprentice who created the potion put his heart in it and the SuckerForRomance Souls lapped up their daily doses.
But the apprentice was not careful with the key ingredient of the potion, the packaging called ShraMan and he handed the task to an unskilled relative. The unskilled relative called herself "The Costume Designer" and churned out horrible wraps for ShraMan in colours that hurt the eyes of the SuckerForRomance Souls and assaulted a part of the brain that dealt with vision. But the addicted Souls' heart always won over and they still consumed the EKDV potion daily. With relish, I must say.
The witch, who belonged to a powerful lineage of Phony Corporation, became greedy and for unknown reasons decided to push the apprentice to make EKDV potion more suitable for the TRPFolks who were not suckers for romance. The apprentice started experimenting with his ingredients and the magical potion started to loose it's charm.Some SuckerForRomance Souls stopped taking it and others continued consuming with faith in the apprentice's ability to make the magical potion better.
By then, the unskilled relative calling herself "The Costume Designer" started experimenting and started fiddling with the packaging. Since she never had any aptitude for design or colours and had no sense of aesthetics , she shamelessly copied designs from curtains, bathrobes and from puppets and forced it on ShraMan wraps.
Along with the tinkering of the potion's ingredients and unpleasantness of the packaging, SuckerForRomance Souls started complaining to the Phony witch and the apprentice about the horrible looks of the package. They particularly disliked the polka dots and bathrobe inspired blue & yellow wraps.
The Phony witch's greed grew steadily and she started withholding the EKDV potion and started dispensing half baked cookies to the SuckerForRomance Souls.
Then one day, the Phony Witch got on a broom along with her family of witches and said "Go..Ah" and off she went to watch the blue sea. Before she got on the broom she told the apprentice to stop making his magical potion as she was going to dispense only half baked cookies to other suckers.
Heart broken, the apprentice wrote an emotional letter to the SuckerForRomance Souls who were addicted to his potion. Already reeling under deprivation due to reduced dosage and unpleasant packaging some SuckerForSouls stormed the Phony Witch's fort and was turned away by her armed guards, who were unaware that the witch was also a secret slave driver. She liked to command workers from their sick bed and threatened to exile them and their brood, if they didn't comply.
The unskilled worker, who in her delusion became overly experimental with her unoriginal designs, designed the ShraMan packaging in horrible, horrible, horrible colours and shapes. Irate SuckerForRomance Souls wondered whether there was any point in complaining about the unskilled designer who refused to learn a single thing in the six months that the Phony witch had hired the apprentice.
The Phony witch enjoyed her bay watching with an evil smile on her face as the sale of her half baked cookies had picked up .The addicted SuckerForSouls started banging their heads, already showing withdrawal symptoms of the magical potion EKDV.
Meanwhile, the Phony witch cleverly laid the blame for withholding the potion on the apprentice.Since he was only an apprentice he did not know how to handle the cunning witch.
The opportunist unskilled worker, who as you know, called herself the "Costume Designer" tapped into the vast reservoir of her stupidity and ruined the packaging totally with a never found anywhere shade of blue and big fat dots. The SuckerForRomance Souls watched in horror while the witch continued holidaying, leaving the apprentice and his addicts to stew in frustration.
