We all have been busy since the past 4 days in persuading the channel not to end our favorite show and I really hope our efforts reach some positive conclusion but guys that said, I really cant stop myself form saying that CVs have terribly failed at giving us a balanced pace of the show. I dont want to compare bcoz there is and can never be another EDKV or NiMik but the 9:30 wala show has been much much better in terms of story telling. Atleast thats what I can judge by the few snippets I have catched here and there while waiting for an edkv epi or promo. Though both the shows use re-cycled tracks from each other but their the quantity and quality of scenes between the leads has been commendable. Whereas in our show did we ever get ShraMan trying to communicate genuinely or showing any signs of growth? I doubt//
The show has been stagnant since Sumo accident track. All the epis of PreeKar marriage were pure waste of time. Even if with them they could have pre-poned ShraMan wedding. Introduction of Aditya and bachelor party drama was nothing but attempts to stretch the track.

Lets assume even if we get an extension, then whats the use if CVs plan to make same mistakes? If they again continue with ShraMan MUs for 2-3 months and show everything sorted in last week. Wont that be the same? We not just need more time but quality as well. When the two shows started both were together in terms of trp but soon other show went ahead, we all know why. We were stagnant. ShraMan had no growth. All misunderstandings were introduced at one time. It would have been a much better approach if they cleared mu one by one and punctuated the sad moments with happy ones. To show that shraman are going ahead in their relationship.

And beleive me its not that the elders dont expect good moments or they only like saas bahu stuff. My mom watches EDKV with me and though she likes kamini chachi and her antics but she always has this complaint that why these two keep on tanting about the same things...ego, self-respect etc. Why they dont do something to clear their mus.

So the reason our show became behind is only that our cvs are confused. They hsould have concentrated on their original storyline w/o worrying that whtevr the typical trp aunties will like the show or not. There are elders with classier tastes in India today and yes they watch sony shows and expect the shows to be logical.

So here's hoping along with sony we are able to even make the makers come out of the slumber. If ever this show gets an extension, we need proper ShraMan scenes. Meaningful ones. The family can play its role in background.

Bang on mallika!!!
cvs butchered the plot by dragging illogical mu tracks. Now there is no time to end the story properly. Big lesson learnt for everyone here. What a shame!

Excellent points...
At this stage too they are still showing Shravan sulking face and I hate Suman

Enough, show love, happiness

I just don't want anymore taunt, ego and self respect speech...

THIS!!! You said it all dear! The day I heard the show was going off air...all I could think about was why the CVs let go of their vision! There's no excuse for the terrible storyline the makers decided to pursue...absolutely none...not even trps...coz the numbers have been pretty stagnant around the 0.3-0.5 range. In fact, during the first 50 episodes...they were always around 0.5...then they started sliding a bit. That's it!

If Sony's decision came in our favour I hope cvs learn their mistake and start clearing the misunderstanding... But for that decision need to be in our favour...

Word Mallika...
U spoke every thing which is been revolving in my mind for last few days... Infact yesterday me and my friend has the same discussion... She was so angry with the Cvs than Channel people for this state of the show today...
150 episodes and we didn't get a Confession? I agree 9th June was a Confrontation between Mom and son... What did happen next was just going around rounds and rounds... He misunderstands her and She misunderstands him...

I somewhere blame CVs also... A story should move on... But not that they go on with the same thing again and again... And I agree... PREEKAR MARRIAGE WHOLE TRACK IS A WASTE

I hope CVs also shouldn't be this Adamant if by chance channel people are asking them to change the plot for last 1-2 months..

Where is 9th June and now it's October... Aren't we still hanging there without much happening?

True Malika. But the 9 30 is also going down the drain in terms of plot. But they have given romance and forgot all about being realistic or different. They did what the fans wanted. That's where edkv ph and cvs failed.
Kudos to nikita and namik for their commitment to fans and the show.

This girl hss shot from the hospital inspitre of being critical. Namik took the load of the show in his shoulders... They were wonderful. They breathed life into this show. Let's hope and request for another show wth the two.

I think that both these shows were meant to be only 150 episodes (Purely my theory, I tried to make sense of it) but they probably were given an extension and content suffered, but now for reasons best known to them Sony has withdrawn the extension given to EKDV. Otherwise the whole thing makes no sense to me.

You have snatched words from my mouth...though I like Edkv more but KRPKAB has maintained its quality and quantity both. There we got leads romance, they fight but they talk and clear everything. Edkv has got down the drain after 9th June. We did not get whatever we expected. Though I m tweeting ,retweeting, sending mails, messages on fb for edkv extension, I seriously hope that makers realise their mistakes and clear all these MU

I agree to a evrything you mentioned here.
I feel the makers had a good story and concept to begin with but failed miserably when it actually came to executing it . They were on the mark for the first few months...dialogues were beautiful...characters especially the leads were realistically portrayed and it was so easy to relate to them inspite of their flaws n misdeeds...all felt natural...hell you didn't need posts after posts of dissection to just understand them n their actions. Evry scene was made with so much care and there was a certain tehraav in them which made you want to watch them again n again.
And then suddenly all that went kaput...story went haywire...cliched tracks evry turn...character butchering ..illogical twists n turns...I actually wondered if the writer or the cvs changed midway...the change seemed so drastic..or maybe the cvs buckled under the channel pressure n trps. Don't think many would have stuck to it if it were not for some very good acting by most.
I keep saying the CVc had this coming...the channel must have long decided to cut losses with this show n all the signs were there for us to see...why invest more on an almost spent product when you have more fresh ones in the pipeline. It's business for them after all.
Even if by some miracle the show get extended I am not sure there will be much to rejoice...I highly doubt the Cvs will mend their ways n bring the story on track...and we will be facing the same fate ie axing a month or so later.
