Rosh, I don't think Shravan will go home alone. He'll wait a bit longer, then head to PCT intending to bring her back to TK, so that vidaai rituals can be completed and he can take his "kiwi" home...
Now what happens while he is at PCT is still anyone's guess.

Well, I hope he at least gets to see the investors, even if he doesn't ask anything or Sumo say anything, there might create a doubt in his mind. Even that is "hope" at this point.

Nith, I loved the epi, including the fight scene, that had a time-out,when the boys waited to take the phone call😆

I'm a big fan of chotu Shravan and loved his scene with Sumo.Well said, he brought immature Sumo out, who will again leave Sharvan waiting for her.Sadly, repeat of high-school when she left him the lurch w.o knowing the ordeal he went thr'.

Ramnath rocked.I even liked the fast flowing tears of Nimmi.😆She was good as a helpless Mom watching from a distance.

Shrav's this bro is easy to bully unlike Pushkar, who stands up to big brother.😆

I liked the goons too, something endearing abt the big one's accent.😆

I might be reading too much, symbolically some barriers were broken when Adhi dropped the stick and threw the table aside.

my guess is Nikki will be shooting soon & that's why they wrapped up this in a single epi.

That lifeless voice of Sumo🤢, only thing the CVs got it wrong.

Ramnath is such a good actor. 👏
@bold : Simran Wow ! This is some good symbolism, gives positive vibes. I never looked at it that way. Thanks for the insight 😊

Nith
A wonderful post👏

But, I found this kidnapping track as without logic ...Too melodramatic😆
If Nimmo was the one who could just stop this fighting saga by raising her voice...and Aditya being so affected by it...he should have realized the repercussions of it beforehand...Anyways, because of Nikita's absence they had to make do with this filler episode...Keeping that in mind they made a good job of it...
Though Aditya has committed two criminal acts ...all Nimmo does, is to cry that her son is being led astray by the egoistic behaviour of her other son...🤢

Nimmo is one of the worst written characters for me..I find her disgusting...She has never once introspected as to where it went all wrong...Either Ramnath blames her or she blames Ramnath...
thats all they are good for😡

Few good things...
Shravan still values his mother in spite of his mother only caring for her reputation...Nimmo for me...was crying because she was actually proven wrong by Ramnath...Her Aditya did turn out to be a loser...😆 Nirmala reminds me so much of the bathetic despair of Cassio (from Othello) who could only rue his lost reputation...What Nirmala fails to realize is that more than reputation she has lost love...a love of her only child

Anyways, am glad they let no misunderstanding clear through this inane track...

Sumo-younger Shravan scene was brilliant...here, was a heroine who was flawed ...not intrinsically but, in her interpretation of her circumstances...Amazingly, she finds her inner voice...her real self in her times spent with the younger Shravan. Remember, she had once told I can let go of this Shravan (he was then not so tedha) but, not that younger version. The fact that it was the younger Shravan who told her its time for her to wait, it made her feel the need to unshackle her stupor...and to challenge him...
Sumo has loved and valued that younger Shravan and for her this younger Shravan extracting his pound of flesh...is already a beginning of a new understanding of the elder Shravan, one that saddens her ...
If the younger one doesnt support her, doesnt value her happiness...she hardly expects anything from the older one...
Sumo has still not understood the Shravan who has returned ten years later...she sees him through the lens of the past...
Adult Shravan likewise wishes to do away with the present version of Suman and to reclaim that Sumo who though a madcap was willing to let their secrets take on the shape of a dream...where none could enter...
The fight scene between Shravan and Aditya was okayish...Shravan as usual looked hot and Aditya looked funny...😆 The hired goons were two cartoons added to the fray...
The dialogue which stood out...I need to go for Nanu...nice touch by the cvs, ... Shravan was literally bound but, metaphorically and one which resonated through that dialogue was Shravan being bound to Sumo and to Nanu...Reminding where this show all started..Shravan values his promise to Nanu ...a fact corroborated by Nanu's belief in him...
A chasm crossed😉

Precap...Shravan looked blank to me..more surprised..I would like to read it as positive because Shravan understood that the girl who could fight was back. Whether he will go to pick her up or he shall wait will only depend whether Nikita is back to work😃

Yes I agree. Unanswered questions would remain.. Ram would continue his manipulations.. But if Shravan knows he wasn't betrayed.. He would side with Sumo even if subconsciously. Shravan always countered Ram on his thoughts on Sumo.. Even in all this he did score one over his dad by going behind his back to marry her. Firstly Shravan would start off with presenting Sumo in front of his dad as he wants her to be... Like Nith said everything that makes her like Niru would be negated.. But he will realize that he did not need to negate it coz Sumo was never Niru.. He would start believing that again... Will Ram take the chance of giving him a choice between him n Sumo?? Don't we all know what Shravan will choose? Hasn't he chosen that all his life?

You make a valid point about Ram not taking the chance of making Shravan choose between him and Sumo.
Sumo is no Niru and that's clear. But I wonder if Shravan, in his desperation to show Ramu that she is not like his mom, would try to push her to change in dramatic ways...

Butting in, sorry...Shravan manipulating Sumo or pushing her to take steps as against her personality or as contrary to her dreams will depend more on his understanding whether the chasm between Sumo or a Nirmala has already been bridged...For me, Sumo is the one constant in Shravan's life...all his problems actually started when Sumo refused to help him those ten years before... His sadness would have remained that his mother had left him but he would not have grown up to be a cynical man totally against womenfolk if Sumo had understood his vulnerability...
And as soon as bad times takes on monstrous shape, Shravan goes back to that same spot when Sumo had rejected him. He again views those wounds afresh...They hurt him ever the more...because again his heart still prods him that Sumo is unlike what he is reading her now...So, why does she behave like this?
It is this insistent query in his heart that his Sumo is unlike any other women that makes him ever the more prone to bouts of anger and self-pity...His belief in Sumo spills over to create new paradigms wherein he would try to slot her...and see, if she fits in there...
Ramnath's truth becomes more important to Shravan because he would read what transpired between him and Sumo those ten years before in a new light...His mother did not want to leave him as Sumo never wanted to...they just failed to fight those circumstances...he will see them as human not place them in a pedestal which he has often done...
Sumo being pushed by a Nanu to accept Aditya's proposal will help him view Sumo as a woman whose choices have been limited... to listen to one's family more so, when you are obligated to them..
It will definitely pave to a new understanding of Sumo and make him question the whys and the whats of Sumo's actions more...

Beautiful analysis Nith👏... i loved yesterday's episode overall, but the highlight for me was the Chotu Shravan's scene with Sumo...that was well thought out addition by the CVs...they have brilliantly covered up Nikita's absence 👍🏼

Thank you for taking the time to humor me and answering my never-ending questions! It helps move quite a few of the puzzle pieces in place for sure.
Shravan would have been a completely different man - for better or worse - had Sumo stood by him all those years ago when his mother had left him. At that impressionable age, he had few worthwhile women/girls in his life who he could really use to question the misogynistic views his father was filling his head with. Instead, with her brash, uncaring, selfish behavior, Sumo had actually seemed hold up the image of the women his father had been telling him about.
Yet, he hasn't been able to shrug her off. His life really starts falling apart every time Sumo gives him a jolt. But even then, is Sumo the only constant in his life? Doesn't his life revolve around both Ramnath AND Sumo? The thought of losing one pushed him to the brink of insanity, and the thought of losing the other turned him into a bitter, cold-hearted beast. No one affects him the way these two do.
I think you made a very valid point when you said that the knowledge that Sumo was pushed into accepting Aditya's proposal by Naanu would probably open his eyes and make him examine every single choice she has made in a different light. He would hopefully try to consider the context of the decision and not just the decision itself.
We have been seeing him side with Ramnath, not only because of his troubled history with Sumo and his blind love and faith in his dad, but also because he really doesn't know/hasn't been made privy to any of Sumo's compulsions. Knowledge is the only thing that can set him free. As we have been discussing over the past few days, he needs to know some of the murky details that have led to the current situation. Unless he has that knowledge, status quo is what we'd see.

PS: Indrani, Rosh, and Nith - 🤗 bear hugs for all of you... i'm constantly amazed by the depth of your understanding...
Love!
