Ofcourse its a last minute change in story..l but definitely not filler... Aditya angle to the story, we all expected to unfold at some point of time... It would have been an unfinished track otherwise... Its altogether another discussion that "how" the aditya angle was approached was not what we had expected..l we had thought the aditya PCT investor angle would be explored or we thought aditya would trouble suman... Maybe he would have.. But given the real life situations, its shravan who got the roast! 😆

The major problem of EDKV, I guess we (the initial members right from start of the show) signed it for a romantic comedy but we kept getting only romantic tragedy and in that too no hints of romance... Isn't it far stretched that we're 140 episodes and we din't get proper love scenes... The show can actually be viewed with different lens based on the time we're attached with the show... all the recent viewers/audience can still be satisfied with any and every plot but those who were waiting from last six months we've started feeling a bit disinterested now (at least its or me)... But I'm not ready to give up yet, I think I'll troll for another month and if I'm not satisfied I might really give up after 7 long months...

TOTALLY get your point! But as I said in the other reply to Simran_singh_24, suman and shravan already love each other from episode 1... a love that has stood the test of time, distance and differences, precisely lived close to a decade and three years... The fact that we start the story from mid point or as they say in hindi "madhyantar", we have had beautiful progress in their love... Suman understands shravan a bit better, shravan knows in his heart that suman is no more the inconsiderate teenager who troubled him( we know his this "diljala ashiq" mode is currently on😆) ... Agree we didnt get any love scenes... I guess marriage will help us address that grievance... But I still feel uts unfair to say we havent got love scenes... I consider all those shravan avoiding suman scenes and then accepting he has been missing her badly as real love scenes.. Maybe you're wanting the typical mills and boon kindz ones while creatives like these subtle ones ... Marriage track would hopefully give us that... It has to, I feel.. I only started watching the show about 4weeks back or so, I didnt find/expected any comedy coz the show launch says shravan feels betrayed in love by sumo.. So tragedy or rather heartache angle has been there since episode 1 and THATS the usp of the show I feel

No, we initially got some tragedy right at the start of the show before they became friends as elders and many felt that the tragic period was over then... but then one after another we kept getting tracks which filled us with distress, especially from the last 2-3 months we got the track we hated the most Preekar and added unnecessary villain Aditya when the show has already so many grey characters... the forum used to be so much fun initially, during the 1st 50 episodes there were no complaints at all unlike you said but many lost interest gradually... and as I said you and I might have different lens as we've been attached to the show for much different time periods, so invested too differently in the show and then obviously our feelings would be different. My word of love scenes or romance meant light-hearted scenes which were not of angst. Mills & Boons is actually not an idea for the viewers of this show as this show is actually more practical and realistic.

True! I happened to read some comments/posts talking about the nimmo track, PCT track n then shaadi+aditya track being not needed..hence the comment.. Ofcourse you've invested more time energy n emotions than me... You've got more reasons to support or oppose the show than I...
I agree about your idea of love scenes... They're more impactful n more fun to watch, per me!

@lidreams- I'm patient with the CVs ATM , I was arguing for the impatient ones who have a right to demand.
Just showing the OTP is in love in first epi doesn't make a love story. where's the romance in this show? It has been one misunderstanding after another between the couple, which has hit rock bottom now.

Agree, the past tracks have revealed the leads' characters more and are essential to the story. But yet, where is the romance?

I also understand the sub-plot of the estranged parents of Shrav is an integral part of the story and showing it now is ok, IMO.

If you've started watching the show only 4 weeks back,(as you've said in your response) i assume you've more patience and let's see how you feel 5 months down the line.

Am ok with everything but this hate. Shravans hate for Sumo is really ott. I can't understand it and can't accept it.
Why teach her a lesson. What kind of love is this... cvs need to show the parents taking Shravan to a shrink.

Lol! Tum bhagwan maang lo...shrink and mental health well being ke liye phsychiatrist mat maangna in indian tv shows or movies... India mei they make movies like tamasha... Show the protagonist having mental breakdown, depression and bipolar symptoms and show the solution to be giving him what he wants instead of giving him mental help... I dunno who all liked that movie but the director was first grade ass to not be practical enough to show that he needed medical help more than the girl...that was one pathetic movie and for deepika to act, endorse and promote that movie was a joke specially when she made so much noise about her fight with depression right before that movie's release...
India mei people hide these real illness like they're illegal...
Aditya commits a grave crime like attempted rape, the writers show him getting a few slaps and is asked by mother to forget it and move ahead like he just scratched someone's bloody car... This is how sensitive Indian shows are... From a country where sexual assault, molestation and rape have seen a horrific rise in recent past... Isliye mental well being is a joke for indian entertainment industry. Lets mot go there.

@TM- This PH has pretty much followed cliched tracks, they've just added their own spin and because of the talented cast & direction they are able to stand out, IMO.

Misogynistic ML on anti-women rant- check
Self-sacrificing FL who cooks all the time and gives up her love- check
Clueless and annoying siblings- Check
Manipulative, about to die Gran Dad-check
Villainous rich father- check
Brothers fighting over girl- check
MIA Mom- check
Scheming chachi,mami,masi- check
Almost marriage -check
Hate marriage under duress- check
Kidnap, molestation- check
FL to the rescue- on the way. Im sure.

My point is, when the push comes to shove, this team is more likely to follow the herd. They've not done anything original so far.
I can trust them only when the show ends on a happy note😆
