Chick always waiting for ur post...😃

Haha the most unlikely Cupid!

I loved her planning/shlanning as she would say - eni Vaada manipulation!

Loved it CVs i was expecting a really boring bashaan filled sad track but it was kind of upbeat with Kamini winning and accidentally doing something good!

Nice and thoughtful post! I just watched the episode..

Daboo played an integral role when shrvan first met and I was so glad to see...
How he kind of reminded the two the depth of their bond.

Very nicely done by the creative team! To bring daboo and the rubik cube into the picture when Shraman are getting ready to enter the next phase of their lives.

Yup the eye lock when he says Suman didi ka Shravan! Banda abhi Bhi Pyaar karta hai having trouble articulating it to himself!

"Not knowing when the dawn will come, I open every door" Emily Dickenson

EDKV delivers when it matters!! Bas bol diya!!

If we leave aside for a moment of how this came to pass, the marriage announcement and post celebration scene by the family was an absolutely fantastic piece of writing. Hats off to the writers for this great job!!

To be able to narrate in a couple of scenes the intention of a track in as subtle a manner as possible...I am speechless. Again I quote Emily Dickenson

Hope' is the thing with feathers

that perches in the soul

and sings the tunes without words

and never stops at all

Yesterday, it was a day to remember her for her quotes on Love

Shravan comes and does his duty. Mausaji exhorts them to feed each other with sweets such that it will spread sweetness in their lives. Shravan is forced to feed a sweet to Sumo who partakes in the offering a little bewildered yet welcoming of whatever this brings for her. When Sumo is asked to feed him, Shravan resists it ; that has been his nature, being circumspect always, not believing that the sweetness of life was meant for him. Sumo is asked to feed Shravan again, there is pressure to accept and acceptance is not easy for him. However, he is gently reminded that this is like a rite of passage. Yet he does not take it from Sumo. A man as deeply conflicted in his beliefs in life as Shravan is, must take the first step for having clarity in his life. His resistance showed that he wont value it until he gets it himself. That is the voyage of discovery he must embark on. He will have the opportunity to reflect on his actions and gain insights about himself and the one he claims to have loved deeply.

There was a beautiful thing that Nanaji said to Ram the other day, that the very time that forces them to stay apart can also chide them for their childishness and get them to appreciate the love they feel for each other. He used the word "Nadaaniyan"...well who does nadaani?...children.

Little Daboo making that appearance was a masterstoke by the CVs to hark back to the situation that Shravan and Sumo met for the first time after a gap of 10 years and then the use of the rubik cube was again an even greater masterpiece of writing on display to take us back to the genesis of their relationship. Try as they might, these two cannot ignore what they have shared. Daboo calling him out on his lie was a gentle reminder to Shravan of who he is and how his conscious identity has been shaped by this girl he has lived all his adult life for. His bond which is now getting formalised with the person whom he said he did not belong to in his first meeting. He was lying then and he is lying now. His ignoring of this identity as Sumo's Shravan when he first met her at TK and now when he is to be married to her therefore is as good as a lie which Daboo called him out for.

The interesting thing about this scene; the situation back then and today similar yet not the same. These two have traversed some distance, some steps forward and many steps backward too. So, the young Daboo brings the rubik cube to Shravan to help him solve the cube, again the significance of the cube in their relationship not lost on us. Shravan is not immediately ready as his current state is in a state of constant denial. Yet there is the promise that he will help solve it some other time. This is a game he plays well. When his cobwebs clear, this game will come to the fore as he cannot lose this game.

A special doffing the hat for that scene..CVs...great piece of writing.

One of Emily's famous poems that sits pretty on Sumo...

"That I did always love

I bring thee Proof

That till I loved

I never lived_enough

That I shall love alway

I argue thee

That love is life

And Life hath Immortality

This dost thou doubt

Then I have nothing to show

But Calvary

Lovely post Chick...I am yet to finish my other post on your thread...the one I lost...the fairytale one...will try to post it today

Sharvan can never disrespect nanu by thinking that he chose him for sumo as he is rich...that is for sure...but have to wait and watch..

Yes, the rubic cube has always been Sharvan's game and when every he plays with clear mind and with happy heart he solves it and even every he is confused he can't...hope he will be able to solve puzzles of his life soon..
