@underlined..what a beautiful thought and when u connect it with yesterday, it all falls in place. The story really has found its way back to the point where it started...with an added bonus...with a journey to look back too for clues... If they had not traversed the distance from the last time Shravan refused to call himself Sumo's Shravan to the point of yesterday, when again he refuses to be acknowledged as Sumo's Shravan, the two would indeed be lost, especially Shravan. If this story had to start at the first point, Shravan had not even courage to articulate his thoughts, he did not think himself capable of love, Sumo did not know that she was loved by Shravan...So among the various negatives, there are positives too...this guys will be fine...

You have said it well...about the laddoo symbolism..a man as conflicted as Shravan will need to move on this journey...a discovery of himself as that player of the cube who used to solve it in a jiffy...wherein, the basic question would not be why did I get married to Sumo but, rather why didnt I get married to her before...Why did I not once listen to her cries of calling me back ten years before?

Daboo scene ...you have rightly pointed out...that the scene did recall the first scene ...but, as when you play the cube...the earlier position of the pieces are hardly ever recovered ...in the same vein, the relationship of SS ...has moved on ...at times losing itself in the muddle and at times gaining new perspectives...

Past lives on...ever so slightly and it never remains the same...

TS Eliot remarked that past is what directs and alters our present...

But, that is not the whole story...present is more than the past and yet, it is what makes the past come alive for us...

We understand and comprehend the power of the past, the history, the legacy...as we travel on this journey called present...

Cube... remains the same, the players remain the same...yet, the meaning of that dusty pages of the past will vibrate because the same players will play it to derive new meanings and new insights...

The cube shall once more be played..by the original puzzle player...to win a challenge called love...
