suman's reasons are understandable, but if you see the manner in which she has communicated with him, then it has been done very poorly... shravan is not that difficult or unreasonable that she cannot communicate respectfully or politely with him...she is abrupt... she doesn't show up when he wants to meet her and when he is looking for an explanation... she doesn't apologize for making him wait, but instead behaves rudely with him... that is ego.. she has a side to her that she has helped her family, but treating a friend so poorly is simply not done...if she has self-respect, so do others.. why can't she be aware of that? shravan is no angel... the guy has flaws, but in most of the communication between the two it is suman who continues to do an extremely poor job... when he is attempting to talk to her instead of putting her pride aside and having a normal conversation she behaves rudely with him... when he is rude and mean then she remains silent and her self-respect goes out the window..

suman to her family is selfless and giving, but as a friend she treats her friend rudely and defends her behaviour as self-respect...

This is exactly what I wanted to say but wasn't articulate enough.

Word!!.

So it is assumed that aditya paid for the plot to malhotras.. He also found an investor who would probably pay the rent to himself.. Badically he just i troduced an additinal layer to collect the profit share from sumo and pass it on to himself as rent ... I dont see any poblem in this...
I think there will be a conflict with aditya as pct land will be owned by him now that the marriage is broken. Shravan did not give the plot to aditya for free that i am sure. It is just that they didnot show all the formalities

Hi Lavanyaji,

I think I categorically remember Shravan giving it away for free saying it was always meant for Sumo and had he known that earlier he would have given it then. Let me look up the episide link..

They were in the picture. Otherwise, Sumo wouldn't have accepted Adi's offer. If you look at her monologue later, it shows that she thought that Adi must have gone to Shravan with the investor idea and Shravan gave PCT( she doesn't know he gave it for free) to Aditya so she could benefit from this investor deal.

Why should she have a problem with Shravan being involved if it was like a bussiness deal? She even took help from Shravan as a lawyer earlier during Tiwari Killa case, but paid him later.

Agree, my bad investors bit was there from the beginning. But like I said it was a poor plot device which CVs goofed up.

But by your own point like she paid lawyer fees later she could have paid Shravan later for PCT as well. But she doesn't.

When it comes to taking help for family she puts her ego aside, when it comes to herself then her ego comes into picture.

If it was self respect she wouldn't accept help in either case. I am doing a piss poor job of explaining but basically the way she acts, it appears to be her ego that didn't allow her to take help from Shravan rather than her v self respect. Especially considering she took his help a lot during school days.

If it was only self respect she would have gently explained it to Shravan who always only tried to be kind to her.

Also she doesnt mind taking unilateral decisions when it comes to Shravan. Nirmalas track is a fine example. She should have discussed, requested him first before going that path. She can get into his personal life without a second thought but he tries to do the same with PCT and she v gets all hot and bothered.

^^ I believe the rent was paid by the investors. We don't know the exact technicalities nor does it matter, but hopefully the CVs will reveal it when the narrative shifts back to PCT.

I feel like we're going in circles... I brought up the point earlier that why would it tarnish her self-respect if she did a bussiness deal with Shravan.

She took help during her school days precisely because she was a kid; she wasn't as insecure back in the day about taking "ehsaans"

Essentially she admits that Shravan is involved in the whole thing. If she didn't accept help when directly offered, why would she accept indirect help.

When initially Shravan offered she could have simply said i can't accept for free instead let's have proper contract where I pay monthly installments like any other business deal.

It's ego when she doesnt even try to think of alternate methods and refuses immediately.

I think she refused at the time coz she thought Shravan and his Dad were instrumental in her losing PCT's office, and now buying the land off Berry and offering it to her like a "Consolation price". In her shoes even I would hesitate to take their help. The fact remains the people who were occupying that land should have been informed that they were occupying disputed land.

Especially if Shravan and his Dad knew this, then they could at least have warned Suman. But later Suman found out that Ramnath knew but Shravan didn't. On purpose, Ramnath bought that land and made Shravan offer it to Suman, so that she will refuse to take it, and they will fall out even further. It was ALL a trick on his part. He manipulated the whole thing.

At the point that Adi got involved, investors were involved too. So there was no issue of "hand out" or it being some sort of "Favour". So Suman felt more at ease in accepting it after she knew it was a business deal. But the way Ramnath made Shravan offer it to Suman originally was as a favor. As if they were trying to save her business, after putting her out of it. It was so patronising. No wonder she didn't accept it. Like it or not, what Aditya did was not like that at all. He offered her a business deal and that was a lot easier to accept. She hesitated, but when she knew it was a business deal she felt more comfortable with it. As would anyone who is in business.

Hi! I am new here too. Sort of.

This forum I find is a cool place with interesting folks.
I don't watch the show regularly.
So all I can tell you is you and other girls here know more about business than suman. Usne homework aur padayi thik taraha se nahi ki. 😆

Pjs apart. It is always easier to take help from people who are not emotionally invested. But whatever agreement they have shown till now does not make sense to me. Yet.
