This is my attempt to write an FF on Shraman although apart from the characters in the family, nothing much will be in common. Here they are not lawyers but entrepreneurs who come together because of their families but along the way they fall in love. Its a story of Shraman's friendship, mistrust, passion, love and pain.
Below is the first chapter of this story:

Chap-1 Life in Kasauli
Suman had fallen in love with this quaint place called Kasauli with its beautiful slopes, long slender pine forests, winding roads and the green gypsies crossing the roads at random in and out of the cantonment area. She lived in the outskirts of Kasauli as her small workshop was near Sanawar village and it was a few kilometers drive from her home. Away from the metro city life this place with the lack of so called modern amenities gave her the required calm and peace that she had come seeking here. It has been over 3yrs now that she had left everything and come here. No, she had not run away from life after all she was her Nanu's beloved who had taught her to fight and never give up. She had come away to get some semblance in her life which was in tatters now with the wedges drawn by betrayal, nepotism and sheer wickedness. She had come here broken but with Aditya's help she had managed to build her life again together and now she taught so many women like her to fight for themselves and their self-respect. Her little workshop taught such women who had no one, to build a life for themselves by learning local crafts and then converting them to wonderful commercially viable masterpieces which Suman managed to find markets to sell them into. Aditya had helped her in every way to find the right place to setup her workshop, to get the right people to help her, right contacts to market her product and today she can boast of having 50 all women strong workforce. She had managed to build some quarters around the workshop where these women stayed and called it their home. Suman had toiled hard and immersed herself in work to get where she was today but her conscience sometimes told her a different story which she managed to suppress always but today after so long the voice reared its ugly head. It was all evident but probably Suman was so lost in her own world that she never realized that Aditya was getting attracted to her till he proposed to her a few hours ago when they had met at their favorite caf for breakfast in the morning.
She did not know why she should not say a yes to some guy like Aditya, he was handsome, good looking, self made man, had the riches that a girl desires, a well established business empire behind him but she just could not say yes. Seeing her fidgeting with the sugar sachet and looking everywhere but at him , he had realized and told her the first thing that came to his mind when Suman had tried to tell him how good he was and how any girl would fall for him "Any girl but not Suman Tiwari , right?".Suman knew at that instant that she had broken his heart, she could see it in his ashen face but he had been on his side like a pillar of strength and she would never lie to him. She owed if not anything but truthfulness to him and she had tried to sugar coat the truth but Aditya knew her well enough to see through it and he had thrown the subconscious message on her face "You have never fallen out of love with Shravan, right. You have never moved on in your heart". Suman had then decided to pour her heart out and told Aditya that she did not know how to fall out of love with the person whose home she had called her own , whom she had woken up next to, whose unsaid words she understood, whose eyes she thought she could read and to top it all she loved. He might not have reciprocated but she had loved him with her whole being and after all love has no condition that the person you love should love you back. It would be ideal to be loved back but Suman knew nothing in this world was ideal and she had learnt it the hard way. Suman could not concentrate on her work and she had driven her small car to a quiet turn on the way to Manki point and sat down on the slope sipping a cup of warm tea which she bought from the roadside tea stall .The small boy at the tea stall had seen her and given a wide broken toothy smile , as she was his favorite didi. Suman had met Kushar by chance at the stall and fallen in love with his innocence. The little boy was an orphan and the tea stall owner had found him hungry and dying near a roadside and brought him home. He had shelter and food now but he did not go to school like other kids of his age so Suman had convinced the tea stall owner to send him to school and she had agreed to fund his education. Kushar was like a stress buster for Suman after a tired day, his chatter, his innocent talks always made her relax after a hectic day. Today even Kushar was unable to work his charm as Suman was lost in the whirlwind of emotional turmoil. She was lost in her own thoughts when Kushar had quietly walked behind her and put his small palm on Suman's shoulders shaking her out of reverie. He had asked "Didi ap thik ho na..main kuch madad karoon, ek cup chai aur chahiye". Suman had given a bleak smile at his concern and had run her fingers through his disheveled hair and said "main thik hoon..zara thak gayee hoon". On hearing this the little boy had said "Didi ghar jao..shayad baarish hone wali hain.iske baad raasta dikhega nahin" and Suman had realized that he was right as she could see the dark clouds rising and slowly covering the mountains and reluctantly she had plopped herself into the car and driven away into the safe confines of her little cottage pretty sure that its going to be a long day for her.
