Later...
Ramnath was seated on his rocking chair. His truth was out in the open and he was scared. Scared coz Shravan hadn't talked to him ever since it happened and it was hitting him hard. Lights were dim in the Room and there was an eerie silence.
Suddenly, the door creaked open and he entered. Ramnath's face stiffened up, as if he'd seen a live ghost. Shravan's face was rather calm and 'not bothered'.
He had a bunch of papers in his hand and Ramnath's gifted pen.
"Mr. Malhotra...", he began. Ramnath's throat went dry.
"You have to sign some set of papers. And you've an option, similar to the set of choices you gave to Suman long back. One is our marriage agreement, and you'll be signing as a witness. The other is my resignation from Malhotra Firm. Which do you approve of?"
"Shravan..."
"Uh! Please Sir. No explanation."
Ramnath heavily lifted up the pen and signed the marriage document. Shravan got up and left, leaving behind his pen.
Ramnath was left behind today, due to his own selfish actions and deeds.

After A Week
Another Baraat came, this time to the Tiwari Killa. Leading the Dulha's Ghodi was Aditya, dancing in happiness.
Manju once again welcomed the Malhotras. And this time also, Shravan got his teeka done from Dulhan's Maasi.
Once again, the mantras were chanted and rituals being done. The Kanyadaan, the Gatbandhan and the Pheras. The Mangalsutra and sindoor being put.
