A box, a letter and some helplessness

So here is my take on today's episode :)

I really felt bad for Suman today. In one day she lost her best friend, had her Nanu almost die and now agreed for a marriage she doesn't want to. I mean, look at her and she hasn't broken yet.

Hated Nirmala's logic that silence means consent , it goes sooo much against her feminist image. She didn't even listen waterway when Suman said there's nothing like that and today despite having told Suman to take her time she tells Adi it's a yes.

Loved that Shravan came to meet Nanu and even offered to postpone the wedding. I mean I wish Suman was there then. Then she would have known if Shravan cares for her family or not.

Loved that the game of chess is now even. Shravan took one decision under his father's influence and Suman did today. I am not keeping count but it's like both chose family over each other.

Hated Adi's snubbing Shravan for his looks. Like why even!? Shravan didn't even say a word and he just butt in and praised himself. Does he care about all the girls, or just Suman? And why is he constantly chiding Shravan that he is better than him? Distasteful.

Loved that Suman wrote that letter after Shravan left. :) that's how I wanted it to happen.

Loved that Preeti knows the entire truth. I know we don't have high hopes from her, but after Suman's comment about she marrying her love, Preeti had a determined look on her face. She is innocent but she can be a little smarter about working her way out as compared to Sumo. We all regret that even if Sumo kept her promise to Ram she could have not treated Shravan so badly, and twisted things in her favor but she didn't. I have that kind of expectation from Preeti. May be she got it that it's important for her not to do anything that affects her marriage now, but once she is married she is in a power position. So Mrs Preeti Malhotra, chak de fatte!!

Mona...loved your take...hope preeti finds courage to stand for sumo just the way sumo did for her. I want preeti to tell kamini ramus blackmailing...because once kamini knows ramus double game...kamini will go in Active mode...that i am sure of. ...i feel shravan will create a scene at the party and fall from the terrace or something...and sumo is gonna run to him to save him leaving adi open mouthed and kamini is gonna use it to marry off shraman

I am glad you like my posts. I used to be very active not any more. Fear getting attached to shows and then they going downhill after 100 episodes, lol

What I also like is that atleast Preeti also knows the whole truth not partial. One day I am going to make a quote of things characters have said to others but it applies to them - like Shravan once said how Ramnath always says half truth is dangerous than full lie , and sadly so its Ramnath and Shravan who need to learn that lesson...

The fact that Preeti knows Suman has said yes in duress, will eventually help in someway. How, I don't know.

I just hope they dont rush the marriage because they really really rushed Preekar. How I wish they showed Preekar as a romantic ground for ShraMan and then made Ramnath feel insecure and introduce something to keep Sumo away - is khichadi se to chhutkara milta.

Nanu has turned a 360 in day one. From someone who wanted Suman to have her career, and regretted making the wrong choice for Priya, to someone who literally forced Suman to say yes (and this was exactly duress because he refused to take an injection if she refused), he has lost a lot of respect from me. Not that he had a lot to begin with, tbh, but still :)

My only hope now are Preekar, and Suman. But Suman ... with all the spoilers out there not sure.

I never thought about Adi having an inferiority complex and if that's true it will be interesting if he is now "insecure" of Suman's relationship with Shravan and then I would love to see Nirmala's take on all this.

I did want to smack Nirmala and Adi today - Nirmala clearly told Adi not to talk to anyone yet, but he still went ahead. Ye ma beta na kabhi sikhenge nahi.

And yes, I seriously dont have the heart to see tomorrow's episode. But I didnt quite catch the precap clearly - what happens in the beginning, why is shravan alarmed?

Shravan got alarmed as he saw someone pulling Sumon inside that room--dear lord how I dreamt if this scene happens it would be Shravan who would do that.
