Rekha dear the cvs have actually lost it as I told indrani more than the characters it's their creators who have gone from sane to delusional to barking mad I'm more interested in knowing what exactly did these idiots binge on for their 100 episode party ever since then these people have gone mad 😡

Overnight Preethi has become the pivotal character in the Tiwari and Malhotra parivar Suman has become an abla nari who keeps chanting yeh Sab kismet ka khel hain Shravan finally opens his stash of Whiskey from Oxford and goes on a Devdas mode throwing parties for the terminated cancer In his life and her newly adopted bakra 🤢
Ramnath the psycho gloats In his achievement of instilling mera papa hain Mahan ideology in ladla betas kharab DiMag or I must say beta never possessed one as baap never allowed his DiMag to grow the little Oxford tried imparting had gone with the wind to Mumbai when Nimbuji vanished into Delhi's humid air
Chachis kuch Bhi ainvayi lines will be hopefully shut by pretty Preethi and Ramnath and Shravan who's been so impressed by Pushku choice of a wife gets some reality check

Sumo who took everything from everyone, with so much pressure from all side, and gave up now that too to preethi, for whom sumo had to take all these!

Now she has taken a promise from preethi not to spill it to anyone! How did sumo think that preethi can live happily knowing that her wedding was a deal at the cost of sumo's love!!! How did she forget that preethi will be going to be a member of shravans family!

Will preethi keep this a secret? And sumo saying that adi bhi tho achcha ladka hai! Does this make any difference?

Looks like CVs wanted a way out of it so chose preethi!

Yep. I feel Suman has better equation with Pushkar than Preethi.. We are yet to see how/when Preethi will spill truth..

Well, Suman is for sure shaken.. People haven't given her time to introspect about Shravan's outbrust.. in midst of all that mess she is forced to make a decision about her marriage.. like he gave 5mins to decide.. so yeah I feel for now she is going with the flow rather than using her brain(cannot blame her, too much pressure).

Sanfan- I actually don't mind the turn the story has taken. If we were to depend on someone other than the two leads to bring this out, why not Preethi. I have been blessed to grow up with a horde of affectionate aunts and cousins with whom I don't share secrets, but I do share deep bonds of love and affection. I have never considered sharing secrets a proof of closeness. I don't share many things with my closest friends for many reasons. But I love them just the same and I am very close to them. Separated by large water bodies and distance in years and miles, I can still pick up the phone and be with them they way I was in college. So, it does not trouble me that Suman, who is shown to be an inward looking person who jealously guards her innermost thoughts from every one, as though they were precious jewels.

So, I think it is natural that gives the extraneous circumstances and the weight of all that pressure upon her shoulders, she confides in someone she loves and has grown up with. If I were in a bind and felt alone I may confide in the cousin I love the most, and trust and respect the most. But, this is a daily and Siman is not me and I am not her- so this would ONLY make sense if it leads this track to fruition and in someway paves the way for the story to progress. The only reason it will be, in my opinion, bad storytelling if it does not lead anywhere. Then it would be an absolute waste and written without thought or a plan.

A lot of incidences in the recent past have been incongruous with the original characterization and concept of the story. I feel like there's no point in rationalizing and analyzing the show anymore. Will just let it take its own whimsical course...as long as we are granted Shraman at some point...even if it be at the culmination of the show!

@beagleboy - My issue is not with the confiding...my issue is why did Sumo say this to Preeti...if the CVs are thinking of it only as a way to get the matter across without a valid explanation of why Preeti when she is going to go thru the guilt...It puts a question mark on Sumo's decision making...which ofc you can justify saying Sumo has reached breaking point...Ofc there cant be any other explanation as I can see it now...

Your examples are great to explain distances that crop in communication yet are bridged with a mere reaching out...we all are like that as it is never possible to be connected all the time to people you love but may not be part of your life on a regular basis. But there is no "dharam sankat" issue to resolve there right? Just a point of when do we pick up that phone or write a text..

I am a stickler for following graphs in character development. I have one explanation that she just buckled under the pressure of the issue that she was following so she never gave a thought that she was confiding in Preeti...I can buy that if the CVs actually intended it...😊 but this also means any action of CVs can be explained away in such simplistic terms...😉

I do agree that Preeti is a weakling but honestly if there is any person in that house who even slightly cares for Sumo other than nanu(who is not in a condition to bear such shocking revelations) its daboo and Preeti. Since daboo is a kid so we are left with only Preeti. Rest all are just worthless be it mama-mami or masi-mausa. Nirmala is the biggest panauti so no benefit telling her. The best part about telling Preeti is that Sumo has sacrificed Shravan for Preeti and Pushkar's relation so this burden will definitely bother Preeti till she reveals it. Also she is not emotionally that strong to keep this truth to herself for long and she being in Malhotra house now and being a live witness to Shravan's pain will take no time to spill the beans. You may call it Sumo's weak moment or the tendency to share secrets with your peers/siblings...But CVs have chosen the perfect person to know this truth. JUST THE PERFECT!! From here this truth will reach all the right places - Pushkar, Kamini and finally Shravan 😃
