Mamiji came and told me to prepare the mehendi paste. Mausi came down to help. She was very happy that Kaminiji has dropped all the unnecessary demands. She was so happy that Shravan changed Kaminiji's mind.

Sumo: Shravan... Mausi what are you saying ? How he is involved?

Mausi: Well he called me today and asked about the demands. He said he has lost the list. After I told him and see in the evening Kaminiji asked us to forget about the demands. He must have convinced Kaminiji to drop the demands... so sweet of him.

Sumo: yes it is.

After making the paste I went to my room and messaged him...

Sumo: Thanks for helping in resolving the demands issue.

Shravan: I told you I will always be there, you should have trusted me and told me about the demands.

Sumo: Sorry, all we wanted was her to be happy. I thought everyone knew about her demands and were fine with it.

Shravan: You shouldn't assume. You always used to share all your problems with me. Until you tell me, how will I know you have a problem and solve it. Anyways, I could feel there was an issue but had no idea what was bothering you. Now are you happy.

Sumo: yes. Thanks Shravan. Goodnight.

Shravan: Good night Sumo.

I was happy that he was not angry with me and went to Sleep.

Diary 2 : 2007

Today is your birthday. I asked mausaji to do pooja and made Moong ka halwa as Prasad for you. It's a secret, I have kept fast for your wellbeing. Mamiji keeps fast for her husband and kids.

So I am keeping fast for you. I hope you will enjoy your day today.

You remember how we celebrated your last birthday. It was so much fun. I did bake a cake for you and had cut it at 12 am. Preethi was with me and she loved the cake. I told her I am trying to learn baking. You missed your cake. Don't worry, when you come down I will make it for you.

I heard Ramnath uncle telling Nanu that you have scored very good marks in your first year. He went to meet you in London since you were busy. I was so eagerly waiting for you to come for your holidays. I had a 2 week college trip but declined to go since you were supposed to come down.

When will you come back Shravan? Its ok, I will wait. You will come down during your next holiday.

We have a new family member. We call him Daboo. He is so cute. After college I spend time with him. He loves to play with. He is so small and cute. I am sure if you were here you would have also enjoyed with him.

Preethi also loves him but is also jealous of him. Everyone adores him...

I remember so well my first birthday in London. I was completely alone. It was holiday time and my roommate and friends had gone home. Dad had wished me in the morning and I told him I will be spending the day with friends. But I was completely alone and was remembering my last year celebration with Sumo.

Sumo wanted to surprise me so she tried to bake a cake for me. She called me in the morning and asked me to come down and surprised me with the cake. I loved the cake. She was so happy.

Yeah but like an idiot I told her that I like her Moong ka halwa better.

I remember how angry she was when I complained.

She told me this was her fourth attempt. First three attempts were disaster and I am selfish and don't appreciate her surprise gift at all.

Well guess what, It was my birthday and instead of she indulging me and making all my wishes come true, I was trying to make her happy and took her out to our favorite eat out and we had our favorite food.

She gave me a self-made birthday card too. I loved it. We spent the whole day together and I reluctantly went home for my birthday party. Mom and dad had a fight on how to celebrate my birthday and I was not looking forward to the celebrations at home. But after spending time with Sumo I knew I can handle the party.

Present day:

I realized she celebrated my birthday every year. Prayed for my wellbeing and also kept fast for me. I was really lucky and made a promise to myself that I will make up to her for being an idiot and staying away from her for such a long time and making her wait. We both suffered and missed each all this time. I should have listened to my heart and it always asked me to come back to her. With that promise I went to sleep.
