CHAPTER 4
Morning
Suman woke up and saw her daughter kiara sleeping peacefully and automatically a smile appeared on suman's face. Suman planted a kiss on her forehead and caressed her hair. Suman checked the clock and it was five of the morning. Suman slowly got up from the bed and covered kiara with the duvet properly and went to washroom and got freshen up and then went from kiara's room.
Suman entered in Rohan's room slowly and saw that he was sleeping with laptop and some files by his side. First she went towards the window and opened the curtains.
Suman-"Rohan utho"and picked his files and laptop and kept it on a nearby table and went towards Rohan and shakes him a little
Suman-"Rohan utho"
Rohan-"suman thodi der aur" and turned to other side
Suman-"ok so jao...waise tumhari aaj koi important meeting hai na" and listening to this Rohan instantly sat on the bed
Rohan-"oh shit!!..how can I forget" and suman was smiling seeing him
Rohan-"tum sirf muskurao" and again suman gave him a wider smile. And kiara came running and jumped on the bed and hugged Rohan
Kiara-"good morning papa"
Rohan-"good morning" and kissed her and suman stood there with a smile on her face seeing the bond between Rohan and kiara
Suman-"aap toh mamma ko bhul hi gayi"and made a puppy face and kiara ran to suman and hugged her belly
Kiara-"good morning mamma" and suman kneel down and kissed kiara
Suman-"good morning" and saw Rohan smiling
Suman-"meeting ke liye late nahi Ho rahe Ho??" And kiara again sat on the bed
Rohan-"oh ya" and jumped out of the bed and proceeded towards washroom and before entering, he turned
Suman-"what"
Rohan-"tum nahi hoti toh mera kya hota"
Suman-"tum late Ho jatey" and suman and kiara laughed and Rohan went smilingly inside the washroom.
Suman-"chalo kiara" and suman turned and felt a hold on her palm and suman turned and saw kiara holding her palm
Suman-"kya??"
Kiara-"agar aap nahi hoti toh mera kya hota" and suman instantly smiled
Suman-"achha...dramebaaz...(kiara laughed)chalo school ke liye late Ho jaogi"
Outside the room, suman found a maid named Sunita
Suman-"Sunita"
Sunita -"ji madam"
Suman-"kiara ko leke jao aur school ke liye ready kar do, main maa ko dekh ke aati hun" and suman went from there. And on her way, she found a helper with tea
Suman-"Ramesh ye maa ke liye leke jaa rahe Ho"
Ramesh-"ji madam"
Suman-"yeh mujhe de do, aur tum apna kaam karo" and Ramesh handed her the tray and went from there. Suman proceeded to the lawn which was adjacent to her mother's room. Suman entered into the lawn and moved towards her mom
Suman-"maa" and kept the tray on the table and sat beside her
Maa-"good morning"
Suman-"good morning aur ye lijiye aapki chai"and maa took the cup from suman's hand
Suman-"maa apki papa se koi baat hui, Maine unhe call kiya tha par call not reachable jaa raha tha"
Maa-"haan baat hui thi Vo kal parso tak aa jayenge" and both suman and maa took a sip of tea
Maa-"aur ye batao tum kal restaurant se aate aate itna late kaise Ho gya"
Suman-"maa Vo"
Maa-"suman Maine tumhe kitni baar samjhaya hai kaam hota rahega par apna khayal rakha karo"
Suman-"ok maa sorry,Vo aaj kal kaam bahut jyada Ho gya hai naa isiliye" and maa kept her palm on suman's head and suman smiled
Maa-"apna kayal rakha karo" and suddenly Rohan shouted from up stairs
Rohan-"SUMAN"
Maa-"aur ye hai ek mahashaye hamesha meri beti ko pareshan kartey rahtey hai..ek kaam khud nahi hota inse..ye toh kiara se bhi chotey ban jaatey hai"and suman smiled
Suman-"maa main dekh ke aati hun" and left from there
Maa(joined her hands)-"meri beti Ki zindagi ko bhi khushiyon se bhar dijiye bhagwan"
Rohan's room
Suman entered into the room and saw mess in the room
Suman-"ye kya haal bana rakha hai" and Rohan was busy in searching something and listening to suman's voice, Rohan looked towards her
Rohan-"mujhe meri file nahi mil rahi" and again started searching here and there
Suman-"konse colour Ki thi"
Rohan-"red" and after sometime suman found it
Suman-"ye lo" and Rohan took it from her
Rohan-"thank you and sorry for this mess"
Suman-"koi baat nahi Main ye clear Kara dungi, nashta ready Ho gya hoga chalo karlo"
Rohan-"nahi yaar main meeting ke liye late Ho jaunga"
Suman-"par"
Rohan-"main office Mein kuch kha lunga, don't worry and bye" and went for office. And kiara came running in the room
Kiara-"mamma" and suman turned to her
Suman-"aap ready Ho gye..good girl"
Kiara-"par papa toh chale gye mujhe school kon drop karega"
Suman-"main hun naa, chalo pehle aap breakfast kar lo phir main aapko school drop kar dungi" and both went to have their breakfast and then suman went to drop kiara to school. And after that she returned to home and saw her maa was sitting in the drawing room. And suman went and sat near her
Maa-"tu aaj restaurant nahi gayi??"
Suman-"kyu aapko achha nahi lagta main ghar par rahun" and made a puppy face and kept her palm on suman's head and suman smiled
Maa-"mera bas chale toh main tujhe kahin naa jaane dun...par kya karen meri beti ka jo sapna hai na vo meri zid ke aage hamesha jeet jaata hai...aur main ye chahti hun vo hamesha aese hi jitta rahe"
Suman-"kya maa aap toh senti ho gyi" and hugged her
Mumbai airport
Shravan came out of checking area and scanned here and there and saw a man standing with a name plate on which shravan malhotra was wriitten. Shravan went to him
Shravan-"main shravan malhotra"
Man-"good morning sir" and shravan nodded
Man-"sir aap pehle kahan jayenge hotel yaa office"
Shravan-"office" and they drove to office
Mehra Mansion
Suman was in little hurry and maa saw her
Maa-"kahan jaa rahi ho itni jaldi mein"
Suman-"rohan aaj breakfast nahin karke gaye hai toh vahi dene jaa rahin hun aur restaurant mein bhi thoda kaam hai"
Maa-"thik hai dhyan se jaana" and suman left for Rohan's office
Suman reached rohan's office
Rohan's PA-"good morning ma'am"
Suman-"good morning, rohan free hain"
Rohan's PA -"yes ma'am, abhi meeting khatam hui hai"
Suman-"ok thank you"
Rohan's PA -"my pleasure ma'am" and suman proceeded towards rohan's cabin
Suman entered in rohan's cabin and rohan looked up towards the door
Rohan-"tum yahan"
Suman-"tumhara breakfast" and gave him the box
Rohan-"maine kaha tha na main kuch kha lunga... waise aaj kya special hai"
Suman-"khud dekh lena..abhi main chalti hun late ho raha hai restaurant ke liye"and proceeded to go
And shravan entered in rohan's office and felt a known air passed him and his eyes automatically scanned the whole place but to his dissapointment she was not there for whom his eyes where searching.
Rohan's PA-"welcome sir, chaliye main aapko rohan sir ke cabin tak le chalti hun" And he again started proceeding towards rohan's cabin
In rohan's cabin, suman was about to go
Rohan-"suman" and suman turned
Suman-"hmmm"
Rohan-"vo jo lawyer aane wala hai na..toh dad chatey thein ki vo hamare saath rahen...toh are you ok with it"
Suman-"mujhe kya problem hogi"
Rohan-"ok that's great...toh main usse aaj lunch time pe ghar par le aunga aur" but he could say
Suman-"main special khana bana dungi, aur kuch"
Rohan-"nahin"
Suman-"ab main jaun late ho raha hai"
Rohan-"ok" and suman went out of the cabin.
Suman proceeded to gate of the office and shravan was coming towards rohan's cabin, they crossed each other and their hand brushed each other. After walking few steps they stopped.
Suman felt heartbeat getting faster. And shravan felt his sumo. And both slowly turned to see each other but...suddenly suman's phone ringed and suman turned and picked up her phone and shravan was not able to see her face
Suman-"haan main aa rahin hun" and headed towards the exit. And shravan was just able to see the back of a woman.
Shravan(to himself)-"focus shravan...teri sumo tujhe mil jayegi" and sighed and Rohan's PA came to him
Rohan's PA-"sir this way" and shravan turned towards the voice
Shravan-"ya" and proceeded towards the cabin
