Yes I agree, but I feel that this the time when Sharvan realizes completely that his father's perspective towards independent women is completely wrong, and the little confusion and comparison he had yesterday will also be solved...

Marriage is a shared journey and therefore both the partners need to be on the same road in order to reach their desired destination.

Pushkar and Preeti are a classic example of - two people who start out together and decide where they would both end up finally but are not on the same page - therefore it is no longer a shared journey for them. This would only result in additional problems, misunderstandings and confusions for them. Maybe one of them would be lost or one of them might be on the road with potholes, hills and unexpected diversions. There is also no guarantee that they would end up at the same place at the same times and even if they did, they would have a very different experience and views on what the ride was like. They also would not have enjoyed this journey as expected and might also face difficulty in explaining their individual experience to each other. So, depending on their individual (and different) journey, one or both of them might even become changed in some way as a person while the other is completely unaware of this development.

This is where the alignment that exists between Shravan and Suman comes to play. It makes them see the things largely in the same way - creating shared goals and supporting each other's individual goals. It ensures that they both will be on the same journey (and on the same road) - always, and at the same time and also prevents either of them from veering off the track. And this does not need them to be together 24x7. This is as much as mental and emotional journey as a physical one.

Very nice and in depth post. Pushkar's and preeti represent the usual love marriages that happen today. Something which Ramnath and Nirmala had when they were very much in love with each other and blind to everything else that later their marriage could not stand the test of time. Ramnath himself said how many divorces he had seen and were due to love marriage but Shravan and Suaman have grown together loving each other. 10 yrs separation made the love stronger and they are growing everyday learning from each other and from their own mistakes. Suman accepted her mistake that how she had behaved badly with Shravan when in school, when he needed her and she is mature now and will not make same mistakes. She too will soon only listen to her heart and stand with Shravan. She asked Sharavn for forgiveness and Shravan too has said that now he is listening to his heart and soon we will see him doing everything right.

@sg there is a beautiful line in the tamil song from Alaipayuthe " Niraye mattume kadal kannum, kuraye mattume kalyanam kannuthen kanneKadhal parpathu pathi kannil, kalyanam parthaphu naalu kaniledi kanne( Transalation: why love only sees the pluses and marriage sees only the minuses. Because love sees with half eyes and marriage sees with 4 eyes 😆😆)

Sharman are seeing each other even now with 4 eyes. So they will sail through where as Preekar is only seeing through half eye and they will suffer

@Shru the entire potential of this track is if Sharman also marry. Even without a love confession these two will outdo everyone else. They need to first start communicating though once Sumo is out of her dilemna
