When u get an angsty forum ... u get a passionate forum .. people who love the show & care about it ... u invest 22 mins daily in this tale of the writer .. so sometimes its kinda justified when u wanna rant ... i am with u .. if one doesnt like the show one can quit ...

I have always looked at a rant post as a corollary to a fanfic ... in a fanfic a person takes the writers tale of characters & reimagines it ... in a rant its kinda direct ... one may call one constructive & the other destructive ... but at the end of the day they are feedback .. believe u me .. a rant also sometimes when constructive helps the PH mend ways & understand audiences

When an audience doesnt understand a particular aspect of the show they rant ... & its upto to the maker to deliver a content which explains it ... most of the times what we don't understand is already in the show ... but we fail to recognise it ...

Lets look at the current dilemma the show is portraying ... now i am not that frequent in the forum but i am sure there is a whole hog of posts on what will Sumo do ... well .. this is already shown to us a million times ...

The whole scene is a recreation of the past .. the Ram & Nir scene .. which was shown to us in Nir's FB ... all one needs to do is connect the dots & we have the answer ... So sometimes the answer is there ... the maker has shown it to us .. but we do not connect with it ...

A lot of times we fail to connect with the real character ... hence a lot of times the rant comes out coz the characters essence is missed out by the viewer ...

We have a 3 lacs incident

then we have a 6 crores incident

then we have a PCT land incident ...

isn't it a foregone conclusion what Sumo will do ... but we create angst coz we have not really connected the dots ...

It takes everyone to make a forum ... it takes a praise & a criticism to make a masterpiece ... there are many who do not understand Mona lisa .. its ok ... they are not wrong .. nor r the ones who made it iconic wrong 😉

All i would say .. guys take a chill pill ... keep one thing in mind .. this is a love story ... & thats what we are getting as Dreamer says ... sometimes we have to let the writer narrate his story the way he wants to ... thats cool coz u get to see something which we have not thought of .. that to me is more exciting than predictable thing which all of us can predict

Ram the lawyer has played his cards ... now is the time for Sumo the business woman to play hers ... heres some food for thot ...

A lawyer is normally hired by a business man not the other way round ... so while a lawyer has expertise .. one needs to always remember ... they work for the Business person 😉😉😉

I agree to you..

Its ok to have sone expectations fron the show but getting negative every time things dont happen according to you is a bit too much.. Cvs know what they are doing...

How may of you(ff,ss,os writers) will.like if others interfere in you story and tell to change the story or go by what they want to see... There are thousands and lakhs of viewers for a.show.. No one can satisfy each and every one...

Till know except for preeti's characterisation am fine with the show... Due to my dislike for preeti I have started to dislike pushku also... Ramnath and kamini has character growth and are good actor..

Like everyone I also love to see shraman scenes but it should be meaningful... Dont.want shraman.scenes just to satisfy the fans...

If it were not for rants and raves will the forum thrive 😆

The reason for each track it's all there but I have understood one thing the writers have no intention of spoon feeding us Guess they believe in the new age education where we need to use our brains and catch the silent eye talks that the ml indulges in often than the age old monologue pattern

the reasons for each thing that's happening it's all interlinked just like the flashbacks shown

Am I happy not seeing the couple together I too am irritated waiting

but then when I look from the beginning uptill now the show keeps justifying their tracks so am ready to see them come together beautifully rather than an abrupt one
Infact these two do even need one 😉 cause They are truly a couple

As i hv said elsewhere too, I love this show not only because of story, writing, depiction etc but also for the fact that itz makers are brave..

Brave enough to break stereotypes and show what they want to show...

Indian tv lacks quality and consistency because here everyone iz running behind trps and the race is never ending... ppl start well but then succumb to trp race and the quality is gone...

For silly twists and turns. Essense is lost...

I like the makers for their courage ... i just hope they tell their story how they wanted to... that wud be a great step...

I think thats the reason that this show is a breath of fresh air .. well... i hope it stays the same...

I want to see Shraman and romance as well ... i hope we get on that track which is loved by everyone asap

See I accept that each can express but the issue is people putting expectations in the wrong place when I meant expectations what we need to realise EDKV will never be the intimate passionate kinda romance we are not going to get that 🤢 there will be passion but in a subtle manner. 😉
@bold Agreed. And that's what its real essence is.

Trp is the channels and ph problems by the way rival channel has a certain Miss Gs show has started that's the cause for fall of the Trp there the show is a perfect recepie of the kind of passionate romance that people for some reason find attractive and not to forget bromance too no offence to any fan

EDKV is a very simple tale...that it is on for 90 odd episodes is a testimony to the ability of the writer to engage with viewers with a simple plotline...

Red has said often the villain in the story is time...and tide will turn at some point...

Turning points in this story have come at certain points...if time had not intervened the confession would have been over and the two would have been busy with their marital life...😆

Having said that, the rant of less screenspace for Shravan is a very valid point...only issue to consider...why did the makers not do this if it was indeed such a foregone conclusion...

In my view..having more screenspace for the leads would have meant that the reasons for the separation would have long ago dissipated...U can't have two lovers love each other so much and yet not confess...unless there are strong reasons for the same...extraneous or intrinsic...This tale does not have that complication. All complications were solved after the Khosla track...the biggest angst was Shravan's reading of Sumo...Nirmala is a point but as we have seen, for Shrav it is Sumo who is the bigger deal...even though she thinks otherwise.

Having said that...I have loved the simple writing of this serial...The serial may have not delivered the high passion points which is a stock prerequisite for a romance serial but it has delivered a beautiful love story of teenage love maturing into hopefully a beautiful adult relationship...It is a tuf tale to tell in this genre without gimmicks...

I saw passion when Shravan knocked on Sumo's door to ask her to stay away from Varma, I saw passion when he held hands of Sumo while signing the case papers for Khosla case, I saw passion in every one of their encounters before they made peace about their relationship on the terrace...yes...it could have been more intense from then on too but I suppose the makers did wanted to tell their tale in a way that focusses on the characters emotions rather than a sense of the stock scenes that a romance serial is expected to have.

I suppose there are lessons for the writers if their effort has been too subtle but personally have enjoyed this tale and look forward to the joint walk of Shraman into the sunset...whenever that is...😊

Enough said! Such a shame. People constantly complain about Ekta Kapoor-ish OTT drama, yet those are the very shows that trump the TRPs😕

I don't see what the fuss is here, I have loved the pace of the show, loved that with every track they have inched closer to each other.
The best part about love-making is the foreplay, after that, it's gone in 60 seconds😆 which is why so many shows tank soon after the leads come together and resort to leaps, kidnappings, multi marriages and other preposterous tracks after confession. So, please, enjoy the foreplay while it lasts😉

Very nice post and I agree with what you said. The main concern for people isnt full fledged romance scenes we aren't getting yet, its just scenes in general that have been sort of sidelined with the preekar track in order for the track to play out. Im not complaining because it was important to progress the track and its leading to the better moments. But this is just what irked people I believe. Everything is good otherwise.

Also, I too believe confession might be the end BUT I dont want them to end the show right after that. I think we have anticipated and waited for too long so we do deserve a little bit of their post confession/ post relationship journey too. Just like they fought against all odds through their friendship I wanna see how they do that with their love/ relationship as well and how much stronger it makes them. If anything we deserve at least month or so of Shraman's post relationship scenes. I want to see how they go from being mild to intimate and how that brings them closer to each other. I know they cant stretch the romance for too long but show us enough so we can cherish forever. Of course when its the right time to show it that is. That's all I ask and I will be happy because EDKV is indeed a classic and has never rushed anything, so I dont want them to rush that either :)

I honestly love and have loved everything about this show and I love how gradually cvs have taken Shraman's story till now so for them to just end with a happily ever after isn't gunna do justice to fully fulfilling their journey. I just want enough post confession, enough of a gradual journey post relationship as well so we can call it a complete perfect journey from friends to lovers to intimate lovers. I love this show too much for it to just end after confession because I personally believe even post confession they have quite some to show and I really hope they do. Thats all I ask for ❤️ and I really hope the cvs think the same way.
