I totally understand where you are coming from dear. There are times when even I feel that somewhere that intensity or that passion that a lover like Shravan should possess in such a situation is missing. But then I think this is mainly because this show is taking a very practical approach on this accident case. Somehow I feel we are accustomed to see excessively dramatic things related to accidents/illness in hindi shows. Whenever one person from a couple even gets a needle prick they show it as nothing short of a tsunami. I know that is done to add the drama and cinematic effect. But this show is quite low key in terms of drama. Though the thurs epi suffered from severe editing glitches but if you see the fri epi too, it was more of medical stuff than too much drama. At that time Shravan was just trying to understand that what exactly is wrong with Sumo and how she can be cured. That was his main focus. I think many of us dont react too sentimentally in such cases specially in a public setting...we hold our emotions and probably pour them out only when we are alone. Specially men. I would not be lying if I would say that I have very rarely seen my dad or my cousin brothers or any one close shedding tears even in the toughest of situations...the best way men show their pain is through coldness...is through helplessness...is through stress (thats is clearly etched across Shravan's face since she met with the accident). So the coldness, the constrained pain all this points to quite a realistic initial reaction. And I feel in future too we might see a constrained Shravan only, atleast until Sumo recovers. Till then he is not showing any of his direct softness or speaking out his real pain in front of her.
