Was it really that bad?

Ok, so I just finished watching the episode... Went into it with a lot of preconceived notions, strongly biased against it...

BUT, honestly didn't find it bad at all. Yes, the accident was rushed, but I blame the OLVs much more than the editors here... It'd have "felt good" to see Shravan in greater distress than he was shown to be, but in that situation, I too would've focused on rushing my friend to the hospital than wasting time on dialogues...
And Shravan's pain was palpable in the hospital... Particularly when he was speaking to Pushkar, the only place nowadays where he can let his guard down without fear... He was in shock, and was evidently bottling his emotions in...
And once he saw Nanu breaking down, he throttled his emotions further...
Wouldn't we do the same?

Not saying it's a flawless execution of the track, but I didn't think it was bad...

My biggest learning: STAY AWAY FROM OLVs!!!

😊

All in all, glad I watched the episode!

AND, did anyone notice the turning around of the car right before the accident?
The way I saw it, that's Shravan's emotions making the U-turn... He had executed a similar turn soon after the Nirmala fiasco (I keep calling it that, I know :)), and had tried to emotionally disengage with Sumo. Did he just do the opposite today?
I'd say that's exciting!

But feeling super sad for Sumo - the emphasis on cervical injuries does not bode well... Seems like there might be some truth after all in the paralysis rumor...
😭

I felt Sharavn would have the same amount of distress if Vandy bhabhi met with a similar accident. so don't know. even when he was semi-crying to pushkar - it felt like yeah whatever type! 😕
this episode felt weird - and that's not a good thing for a supposed high-drama-high-intensity turn of the story 👎🏼

I love this show more today than ever before for the subtlety with which they have shown Shravan's discomposure. The man is grappling with trying to be what his father has conditioned him to be towards Sumo while every fiber in his being is screaming otherwise.
His turbulent emotions are so apparent when he is filling in the form the nurse hands him.
He starts to write his name in the slot meant for Patient's name, how symbolic is that. He is really as much a patient as Sumo is. Infact his pain is far worse than hers right now since she is lying unconscious while he is reliving her accident flash before him.
Another poignant instance is when he hesitates before writing Friend in the Relation slot. Why did he hesitate and why did he write Friend.
Wish someone would do a write up on the incredibly subtle nuances in this scene.

I really don't think the accident was meant to be any great turning point in the story or else there would have been a promo about it. It's going to be a gradual progression, or atleast that is what I would like it to be.
Yes, the acting and the editing could have been better but I can't fault the writing. It's been brilliant. For those that want to see it, it's all there.😉

It wasn't that bad. I think that's how a man should respond. I didn't want another limping and vomiting reaction. He seemed at a loss and didn't know how to react. But, yes if they gave little more screen space to shravan it would have been better. I liked the episode . Felt upset to see shravan. He reacted like a friend not a guy in love as such but I liked him calm down from last extreme reaction.

well the accident scene was comical to call it the least. people are complaining because they have high expectations.
forget about watching OLV - the accident scene was horribly edited and thats a fact. also when she was rolling over no blood, magic se blood aagaya baad mein. everything else i liked but they should have been good with their editing and direction

my fav part was the staring session prior to the accident and how shravan was watching over her - knowing how careless she is 😳

You have described it beautifully ...just saw it now once more.. have to say Namik's acting was good, very understated
