Fab writing Kriti 👏
"Our dosti is beyond all these petty things" isn't this the start and end of it all ...how many ever fights they may have, what ever be the length of separation... their "dosti " is intact and beyond all fights.
Despite a fight, he forgets her "irritating behavior" and expects her to side with him and she forgets his "rude behavior "with her and empathizes and aides in tending to his emotional patch, by making his belief that men are best chefs.
At times, Shravan comes across as a kid, he always demands her attention , despite the fights he wants her to take his side .. (like in yesterday's daal scene where he felt it was out of the world while she said it's just "achchi hain ") he needs her approval, despite difference of opinions , he wants her to side with him barring that particular argument .
Today the apology scene was written and directed so meticulously, he is the one who comes to her home, he doesn't directly say he is wrong and he is sorry .. he gives reasons and explanations why he did what he did, still standing on his point and clearing that she is not that bracket of other women, she is above all that and their dosti is beyond that. they tell each other where they are wrong, but still give that space and time for each other and don't force their opinions on the other and this only enhances the depth of the bond .Neither does Sumo give up her stand, she challenges to change his opinion and he accepts it and then that fight is erased with a final "mere liye kuch banao na " and Suman hitting him with pillow.. the flow of the entire scene was very subtle and beautiful , These two are equals..two different characters who talk , argue , fight, reconcile and share happy moments and in all this the gender difference of boy, girl is almost blurred .. these writers are never off track ... they know their character and story.
I loved both scenes, his claimed haq to select guy for her and her unsaid haq to save him from an emotional breakdown ..on coming face to face with his mom . again they are equals .. no one is above the other, they emotionally compliment each other like 2 pieces of puzzle
@travelocity ,.. great views⭐️ I pretty much have similar views ,,, specially this one i feel like he will realize on his own without a guy coming (which is what i want personally) . I just want this from writers.. no 3rd angle or external triggers to make him realize his feelings for her. and this I believe will happen when there is reconciliation of mom and son, going forward ,
