Sorry but again you are giving more importance to love over friendship. True lets b practical. For me obviously my hubby is more imp than my best friend. But in this case we are specifically discussing 1 incident i.e the incident where Shravan needed his best friend & Suman failed. Again i repeat she failed as a friend 1st coz at that age you need the moral support of a friend & not a lover. If they had shown Suman regret that incident & then show the letter as a different plot simply to make her realize Shravan's unrequited love, i w'd ve been fine with it. But showing her taking that incident casually till now without realizing how she had failed as a friend to me is a big let down by the CVs. Sorry but its just my personal view. I get that most of u dont see it that way, but i wanted to realize the hurt she caused 1st as a true friend before becoming a lover & not after the transition from friend to lover.

sometimes easy to forget to see tht young sumo kept friendship at surface level .. shravan's friendship reached depth but she realized it little too late ..

she had a conditional friendship .. it was selfish on her part .. but thts tht

she felt bad about the incident for all 10 years .. just coz it wasn't depicted on screen that does not mean she didnt feel sorry for all this year .. what she didnt understand was his indifference he showed her and tht need for him humiliate her in the party ..

..Now with the letter she just understood him .. she regretted hurting him for all those years... what reading letter got was the realization of why he had so much anger in him and why so indifferent towards her .. realization of his expectation from her ... in end she was sad not just coz she acted the way she did , but also for love she missed out on , an opportunity of love lost again coz she couldn't say what she wanted to.. ..

Angel .. My reaction is totally opposite of u..story started wid Shravan's hatred to his BFF suman n suman had no clues..cvs shown that shravan remembered how his BFF betrayed him..suman remembered good memories as friend..for shravan suman is/was more than a friend.. For suman he was BFF .. But matured suman falls for his qualities..sometimes when u r too close to anyone it's nt able to understand its friendship or love...shravan knows suman is more than his friend to him.. But he doesn't want to loose his friend again as he thinks suman doesn't think him more than a friend..matured Shravan is accepted the fact .. Sumo came to know abt his feelings but as everyone knows they met again after 10 years.. So sumo not sure he loves her still now or not..she wants him to confess that ... I like the way cvs shows suman n Shravan s one sided as both of them don't want to loose other..its good.. They met thru rubric cube 😃

In the terrace wala episode, when he asks her to become his friend, we see that she feels bad about everything, although it is not directly mentioned... She also says that even this time he is the one raising his hand for friendship and "pata nahin main iss qaabil bhi thi..." and he stops her from completing by making her realise that he made mistakes too, although those were later after he came back...

What I am trying to say is that she realised it from long before and she realised it even more on the terrace of how wrong she has been. She probably would have apologised as well, but he stopped her saying that he made mistakes too and that they should start afresh meaning that he has truly forgiven her without her having to apologise.

I could be wrong, but that is how I interpreted the scene...

Edit: Right now why she feels worse is because she has just realised that this guy has loved her for over 10 years and it hurts her more to recall how she behaved with him and yet he was always by her side, loved her.

So, as a friend what she did was wrong, she realised that long back.

But now, knowing his feelings, she realises how much it hurt him then, the extent to which he just left and never turned back until 10 years later...

Thanks dear guess i dint concentrate much on the terrace scene. Now i am trying to recollect it with a newer perspective. May be you are right & Suman already regretted her failure to support Shravan as a friend. Hmmm good point 👏

I dont ve any issue with the length. Even i am glad that they dint stretch the remorse/revenge/hate track too long. My concern was more on the timing. I felt it w'd ve been better if they showed Shravan & Suman open up as friends first & then make the transition to lovers. Start with a clean slate with no regrets/pending apologies/hurt etc

This is called structured well rounded writing .. to me its a stroke of genius dished out by the writer .. to finally show Sumo .. what her one rejection had caused

But how do u think or want Suman to approach this problem -> as Sumo the BFF or Sumo the GF. Thats where i am confused & thought it w'd ve been better if Suman & Shravan had sorted this out as friends before the love realization.


BTW i like ur posts but guess i am not that articulate & may be tats y i am unable to explain or put across what exactly is my prob or may be i am just yet another confused female like Suman 😆

yeah i feel at some level its also Suman's regret that she missed out this love. ttt1 (not sure how many Ts 😆) also posted the same thing in this thread. So i guess its a regret of the hurt she caused as well as the missed opportunity.

But how do u think or want Suman to approach this problem -> as Sumo the BFF or Sumo the GF. Thats where i am confused & thought it w'd ve been better if Suman & Shravan had sorted this out as friends before the love realization.
