Now to her defense, Shravan brushed the past off with the 'I have moved on' phrase prompting the 'woh itni bhi badi baat nahi thi' response. She was trying to apologize, he brushed it off. She felt he was not holding onto the past, so did not bother anymore. Hope I am making sense here.

😆

That bossy Suman will always exist when it comes to Shravan.😉 Even after they become great grand parents.😆

Second para is what I meant too.😊

I think she had a huge crush on her dependable friend adn she didn't want to seem stuck or desperate (like pushkar puts it )
So she was covering up the apology with I have also moved on ,I was not thinking you all the while in the form of 'itne be bade baat nahin thi'

I also feel what she did in school was very very wrong and over a period of time she must have realised it especially when he left ,so I do feel when she met him first she should have apologized better

But I don't want her to apologize any more ,this is after her mocked her and her written aplokgy and that random reunion drama was a notch higher in my opinion ,she got the point but I think by then he lost it too

I think what she should do is dignified silience ,or like some of us mentioned here before wear s mask before him like she does with her family

Even I feel she started falling in love with him slowly...she still has not realised it...but Pushkar has seen something in her desperation, probably.😉

Had he left it with the goon episode she would have given him the mask treatment...now toh...

If Shravan doesn't go back to London soon, Sumo might actually break his leg! 😆

When he came back as Soup pointed out she was never given a chance.
She tried saying sorry at the gate of her house and he ignored it as if it was not a big thing.

What she did in past was wrong and can be considered her bachpana. Many people does that. At that age they do not have the ability to think what is right and what is wrong and are found to be chasing herd.
We know that she was sorry yet for her to say sorry is a big thing. She was a bully back then. Her behaviour with the junior kids show that.
Most of the teenagers behave the way she did. They are insensitive and does not think about consequences.

Getting back to the present- After the party scene how do you think one will apologize? I mean she was devastated by the fact that the act that was carried out a decade before can be played with all the planning and that too from the person who visits your house daily. Forget the friend part. One will not be so manipulative to even the acquaintance.
Yesterday's episode: He too has that ego. He was standing there when goons were having their time. Seriously; she is the grand daughter of the person who is high on your pedestal.

I think the apology will come later. For now both are just playing with the ego/hurt and I have been a victim.

And at the end as you said if they communicated such sensibly the show will be not a show😆 😆

Bhavi,

@Blue- is what Pushkar feels too...even his dad would feel the same if he heard about this.

The goon epi-

I felt he was just giving the goons attitude- U dare touch her while I am around kind of...and didn't want to ruin the good work the girls were already doing.😉

Actually I feel Suman has admitted she was wrong - she has been living with the guilt all these years. Be it the promo, or her first reaction when she knew Shravan was coming, it was to say 'sorry'. And she knew it was not trivial ...but she had expected him to be mature enough to forgive her. But she was taken back by his amnesia...and it seemed like none of it...not even their friendship was a big deal to him. I was only trying to highlight that- not on whether she was right or wrong.😊

In black bold...when, where? I don't recall seeing any scenes to the effect...!😕

In red bold...Which friendship? The one she trashed???

In underline...Lets not debate this Chick...this will make it worse...This notion that if Shravan hasn't forgiven her...it is his problem not hers...shows lack of guilt and an entitlement to be forgiven...My goodness...if that's what she is thinking...she really hasn't changed IMO...Very disappointing!

A simple acknowledgement...or an attitude that shows acknowledgement...if not in words...in feelings...would fix all the issues...This is lacking...

Hey sush

Very nice.to.see you here
I hope to.see some.sushpective posts too:-)

Effect on bullying on.childrens these are not topics himdi shows would take the risk of.covering ,with this show at least they tried.some.thing atleast

No.denying.that suman behaviour was obnoxious inschool ,but.the fact remains.that it was 10years back and in.suman's defense I.don't think.she knew.whether Sravan.remembers any.of.the.past days or.whether those days/memories are.of.any significance to him.

If.you remember the first.time.when.she turned.up.for the party HD refused to.remember. her ,I think with that she also.assumed that the guy has completely moved on - 1st chance of.saying sorry

She apologized in original Sravan style ,apology in inverted book - he coreleected the placement of.the book -second chance of.saying sorry

She said sorry during his visit home ,actually there was a lot.of uncomfortable env after he said.he's just.Sravan not sumo wala sravan he was.behaving.lke he was not.interested.in talking to her , she rightfully assumed that he doesn't care any more -3 time

The came the dress ,medicine part by then she was too glad.to be proved wrong and the fact that he remembers their childhood

Then came.the infamous party

The right thing to.do.would have been apologize irrespective of.of he cares of.not ,irrespective of.seeming.like a desperate romantic who is.caught up in her school day issues (puskar's words.not mine ) because the fact is.that the issue was a badhe baat and she was totally/wrong ,but I sort of.understand the placement of incidents.in a.manner that there wasn't much chance

And like.you said friendship was always one sides in.thier. case ,school.from sravan's side and now.from suman's side

Sush,

1. Shravan himself ignored her when she ran behind his car as he was leaving...What did he think she was running for?
2. The first thing she did after she cleaned up his room and arranged his books was to write 'sorry'
3. In spite of the cold treatment he gave her- behaving like she was a nobody in his world- she came up with a heartfelt sorry...though she had felt as small and insignificant as an ant by then. 😆
4. What Shravan does with her sorry is throw back it on her face- Likh ke doon sorry, jaise tune kiya tha...It is evident the guy does not want any sorry. He is not willing to take an apology...he never even wanted to meet her...she was just not in the scheme of his things when he returned..he was planning to just ignore her and go back after 5 days...

So where is the place for an apology here?- For Sumo to absolve her off her sins- Yes. It wouldn;t make any difference to Shravan. He would still call her two faced and matlabi...and that she was saying this now only because he was rich and affluent.

The part underlined- She would expect him to be upset and not want to talk to her ever...but to show such plain hatred...

Had he just kept ignoring her, she would have slipped in that sorry some way...sooner or later...it was when she saw what he had turned into, that she lost her bearing...May be she would come up with one more apology during Holi...Though I don't know if he is looking for one at all and if it'll make any difference to him.

And yes, I agree. Sumo has a deficient personalty whereby she was not able to gauge Shravan's heartache in full measure and did not know she had trashed the friendship.

The way I see it, she genuinely apologized twice and he belittled both... I kind of feel that no amount of apology was going to make him forgive her. Who, in their right mind would keep on apologizing? The ego sure would kick in sooner than later.

But I felt, that no matter how sincere Suman's apology, Shravan would never have accepted it. As he was in no mood to forgive or forget.
