Hello fellow EDKVians! It's Kriti!

And today as I tried to really rationalize Shravan and what he was doing. As easy as it is to write it off as immature and foolish, I think looking at it from Shravan's point of view it really makes sense.

That said, I'm not condoning or supporting what he's planning to do, I'm just saying I can see where it comes from. From what I got, Shravan was young, shy, geeky boy at heart who loved a girl with ALL his heart despite the way she treated him (come on you can't deny that telling someone "don't talk to me in school because I have a reputation to protect" is rather mean) who turned into a suave & confident man who still carries that geeky boy and his broken heart inside of him. And with that heart he carries the massive heartbreak that must've been the final straw.

Imagine if he can tolerate being told to not speak to her in public because of her image, he's must be a VERY difficult person to actually hurt. And if someone managed to hurt a boy like that, to the extent that she did, it must've been something serious.

And with that I started wondering, what would I do in Shravan's place?

Well for starters, I wouldn't be friends with someone who's telling me I'm not "cool enough" for their image but I'm not Shravan. But let's say somehow that managed to happen, and everything that happened to Shravan happened to you---what would you do?

Leave your comments below!

Cheers,

Kriti

(by the way, I'm kind of falling asleep right now so I'll edit this post later, sorry for any errors/if it sounded like rambling 😆)

Me to. If someone cannot tolerate my presence in front of others solely because of the way I dress or look, they are not really my friends at all are they?
In the show, Suman was so mean to Shravan, making him wait for hours to get a book or asking him not to talk with her because he looked a certain way!
And she used her friendship with him too. She was a bully.
And I think I have said this somewhere else too, I don't think Suman realizes the extent to which she hurt Shravan!

And, good night😛

Guess what? I feel both are stupid for now.
One did it all wrong in the past and the other is hurt and says "Uska wajood nahi hai".
Really? Wajood nahi hai toh stop doing all this to her. After we get angry from those, who we love. Dude both need to get their head straight.

M ranting for now since it's like 4 in the morning and m not yet asleep.

What is happening now is "revenge of the nerds". Come on, if someone has a chance to show a person who used to insult them that they are WAY ahead now, would they not even feel a little bit of satisfaction? We are not all who we were in high school. A lot of us have gone miles ahead.

High school can be an awful place. Everyone has an image and ego etc etc. You can be very stupid and crass sometimes. Suman was. She didn't realize what was important then. Maybe she does now. You can see how caring and accommodating she is to her family. She is a good girl. A nice girl even. She has matured a lot in 10 years. But in school she was a mean girl to some extent. But the very fact that she loved Shravan's company, indicates that she was not as shallow as she looked. Otherwise she could not have been friends with him at all. Publicly or privately.

I can see what Shravan is doing. He wants to show Suman that now HE can come to a party with a hot date and that is not her!Seriously I don't blame him. In his shoes I might be tempted to do the same. What better way to rub it in and show sometime that rejected you that you have moved on! Maybe you haven't but that's for you to know!

I would love to come with a hot date to show off someone who rejected me once. The poor young Shravan bought her dress and she accompanied someone else. That must have hurt him alot .. and if his revenge is solely about showing off a hot date then that is just fine ...but anything further would make things complicated BUT interesting for us . Btw i have been hearing about Dance sequence coming up. How the hell are they going to dance together. Namik is so tall😆

I wouldn't care at all, but I get over things fast. I don't see the point of lingering on a hurt and deliberately hurting someone back by plotting and scheming. He can chose to let it go, forgive, enjoy his own life, but instead he is still letting his past dictate his present and acting immature. Suman screwed up, but it is too much to hold that over her head for such a long time. Then again there are very few things I account as unforgivable.

Teen Agers days are some which can be considered a time when a human being has just started experimenting with all that life gives you... So that by adukthood you are mature enough...
Honestly Suman has been very very mean...and it was in such times.. that even Shravan was mad at her.. specially as you pointed out... he was waiting for her with notes since 11.30 and she accidentally saw her at 4.00 .. so all that went by is being made to come to Suman it seems. .and this time purposely... with one's intention to hurt her badly... but see times have changed! Immature teens do loads of things. . I assume... had I been in place of Shravan ...
I might have let go off...no and its not something I say easy to say.. and difficult to do... I have people who were there to insult me at every step when I was in my schools.. mostly cuz I was new in THEIR country.. and I had bad English .. and accent... hence being mocked and laughed at was common thing ...its been years now..and today after so many years.. same set of people are in good terms.. and in contact even after I have returned to my own country.. with many admitting that detested me back then... and how they are really sorry for it.. not that I will ignore them or hate them back after being matured enough

Coming back to ShraMam it was teenagers ka days for sake.. and plus as far as character sketches are concerned we have seen... (as an audience) that she was that because she couldn't get that dominance in her own house under mama mami...so...I do believe Shravan knew that side of Suman as well.. They were best friends right... what I feel is that so far they just need to sit and talk.. and chat away...

Well if I am in shravan place I will never friends with that kind of person who think I am not their type and don't deserve to become their friend. I am good without a friend like them than having a friend like that who judges the way we dress and behave.
