And why did you have to use Hasi????? . I have been listening to that song almost everyday since it came out, and it was sad.

But you made a Vm of ArShi with that song, and it's even more sad now. Dude!!!! I LOVE THE FIRST AND LAST SCENE OF THE Vm. IT is one of my all time fav scenes on any Indian show. It's just such a sad scene, and it hits right home for me. They are both so so so sad, but they just find solace in each other. Like I love that scene. I must have watched like 50 times. Oh my god. That song is perfect for them because of that love hate- relationship. Some times they were the reason of each other's smile, and sometimes they were the reason of each other's pain. That was just afsdgjhkl.

omgakldsjhfahflaksdjhf omg YESSS THAT SCENE.

THAT SCENE.

I partly attribute my obsession with the show to that scene because it was what gave me the faith that yes, this will have your typical serial fate, but the writers aren't completely off and they are conciously trying to make this relationship deeper and not as superficial as TV serials (namely Kekta serials) had the history of doing. The reasons why I love it mirror yours, it's like, it had nothing to do with love, or look-look-hava-have-trip-fall-catch, or how beautiful/handsome they look, it was about something that deeply impacted the both of them and how they were able to talk about it. And how Arnav let out his insecurities and was vulnerable in front of Khushi, "Kya woh hume dekh kar khush hai?" about if his mother is proud of the man he's become complete with his flaws as a human being that (as he showed in that scene) he's very aware of. And Khushi not giving him an implicit answer but comforting glance and just alsjdhfkalsdhjf

That scene like you said is one of my TOP scenes in Indian TV. Critically speaking the show might not be the best, but it certainly had some scenes that could be discussed in the same sentence as other scenes from classic shows.

And coming to the VM (Wow that that was a long freakout 😆 but not long enough I could go on and on about this show as you all may know by now 😆) thanks Giaaa 🤗 I'm glad you liked it. I used that scene in the beginning & the end because the concept was to show how much they'd become to one another (in the VM specifically it was how much Khushi had become to ARnav but the scene, with regards to the convo they had shows it from both sides) and the journey in between, like how Arnav fell in love and how Khushi became so important to him (basically became his 'Hasi') and in the end it was like 'Now we're here' like having this conversation about the things that affect us the most. I purposely didn't use any explicit 'Hasi' like arnav laughing scenes because the meaning behind saying someone 'became your Hasi' is so much more than just laughter.

Sigh... I'm gonna stop now and post this so I can check back on all the things you must've posted while I was typing this monster out 😆
