Only humans as mere mortals err.Thus at times many may experience awareness of wrong doing,regret, and contriction over their misdeeds. In this too,depends upon person to person, for many chose to ignore dictates of conscience. For me over all, the episode contains shades of self reproach, in some form or another.. just my stance..
Symbolically Rajan and the lady by the lake. Suvarna Kapoor is his dark past.Rajan's misdeeds perpetrated against, Suvarna , her husband and son ,lie in some dark cell of Rajan's guilty conscience. It 's not about Suvarna in chains of captivity. But to me, rather , for years, Rajan detained by his own self condemnation that keeps him chained to his past.. Rajan would rather set her free to ease his burdens. But if only life was so simple. He could self correct his crime by treating right Suvarna s son????A certain Shiv?? ... But looks like Rajan in that area too, led by his own son's happiness issue, cannot reverse a serious wrong, for which he is being hammered now! Appears more doom comes his way.Rajan s guilt does lead to remorse. He now almost awaits deserved retribution.. providence to strike back. When his past, turns up in his present,with possible harrowing future implications.
Shiv was a loser, but still a winner for being inherently ingrained with a sense of sound consciousness. His divine nurturing mother was a holy one. He was his own judge and a fair one too. Shiv had the depth to look beyond his own selfish interests. In this scene too, he evalutes his mentoring skills. He was Sharanya's guide, advisor,in her perilous battle against the unscrupolus Bedi's . this was in theory,in which a spirit can only do so much. His existence,or non as it were. in worldy terms, renders him quite ineffective, and impractical. This leaves him with shame and regret for being what he is a spirit, in the real world.
Shiv also ironically,carried within himself some self reproach that it was he who split Vyom and Sharanya's friendship or paring. In many episodes his preoccupation with stealing a friends girl has been seen.. Somehow Sharanya's clarification seemed ineffective to him. But then this was Shiv. Careful not to step on onothers's toes,especially on close relations.
Sharanya s conscience gnaws at her. Seeing she has broken Vyom's heart in choosing Shiv over him. Her mission in the episode, via medium of FB's.till date, is be the peacemaker between Shiv and Vyom. So the three can be how they were.infallible friends, years ago. Shiv is anxiuous about her mindset. The man who was the culprit for Sharanya till yesterday,suddenly turns into a hurt,dejected victim,who needs retriving by their bond of friendship.
Vyom is only self interest ridden, unffetered by unprogressive nonsense like guilt, conscience,inner voice. In the episode,true to his own needs and wants.. he uses Sharanya as a pawn to beg for Shiv's trust!! Vyom knows, Sharanya's love will weaken Shiv , veer Shiv into trusting Vyom again.. which is Vyom's game, to turn Shiv's weakness into a strength for himself...hamlet53 13.3.18
