2nd anniversary is almost here though..some nice time ahead :)

both namik and nikita took a step back by taking up haasil and edt but cannot really blame them. shows like edkv and characters like shraman comes rarely on indian tv and as actors they need to work constantly. they are not popular enough to work when they get the perfect script.
i hope after edt we get a s2 of edkv😕

Oh, you have lost your respect for Vyom too. How would I know that if you don't make an open post on forum 😆 But ultimately he is a part of your VAnya ship so I assume that you just can't dislike/hate him the way you did for Shiv.

And for god's sake, don't bring Namik into this discussion. I'm strictly talking about the character. What opinions you have for him as an actor is none of my concern.

Lastly, just to let you know, I've always respected your opinions even sometimes they were highly 'offensive'. And regarding you being tagged as 'Shiv hater', Sorry nothing can change it now. You don't have any idea what ruckus you have created 😆

Anyways, you still can continue commenting on him. Who am I to stop you? Your life, your choice!! 😊

I have stopped posting on the MF ages ago...I stick to ATs. And what ruckus have I created? I gave my opinion on what I saw back then. And sorry for bringing Namik in the discussion, since it was meant for the characters.

In case you didn't notice, I was contradicting the TM's views on the character. A character is the writer's creation and I am blaming the writer for making Shiv so insipid. When you're watching a show, you want to see some strong characterisation for the main leads, regardless of your love or dislike for them. And that's the reason I have more or less stopped watching the show, since all I see is a mindless killer, a dumb detective and an insipid ghost.

And just like you, even I respect your opinions on every character and the show itself. You have never come off as offensive or bashful, reason why I am explaining my stance to you, which I never bother doing for those who just choose to see me as a hater. But you're accusing me of creating a ruckus whereas I don't even remember ever mindlessly bashing Shiv. Even if I have criticised his character, I have done it in a dignified manner, so this accusation coming from you- of all the people- is pretty hurtful.

That's all I gotta say.

Also these patterns about Sony, star plus or other GEC is just an assumption...I don't think anyone here has enough data to narrow down the results!!
As much as the show is running, trps are constant I guess even with such a negativity on the social media prevailing they have enough material for keeping people to their show!!!
Pls don't get started about the popularity of actors...I came to know their name after 50 episodes...n I know people who watch it daily n still doesn't know their names...but know them as shiv, saranya, vyoom...
It's not they are like sharukh-kajol-salman

By ruckus, I meant your 'review posts'. You know I always used to wait for your stance on the episodes. You always had some valid points to make. And I even used to get disappointed sometimes when there was no post from your side whenever there was something in favour of Shiv in the episode. Your growing liking for Vyom & Sharanya as a pair was always visible so somehow I had accepted that you would never like Shiv as he was the third angle between them that time.

Sharing a link here from one of your such post which I feel was the final nail in the coffin, in short, the reason for all 'the ruckus'.

And you even said that 'if Namik defends this particular scene from his character's POV, I'll lose respect for him too'. This offended many Namik fans. If you had limited it to characters, it wouldn't even have mattered much.

You started this 'most controversial topic' on this forum. Then there were lots of posts on the same. Did Shiv touch Sharanya or NOT? Shiv received a lot of bashing & not just Shiv, some people didn't even spare Namik. What was even worse that Namik was labelled as a rapist because of this. The one who called him that runs a fanpage on insta & is a forum member too. And this was way before that 'possession & molestation' track. To witness this all was very hurtful. There was nothing from Shiv's side of the story & we were already disappointed. And to add in that was the negativity on this forum.

Not blaming you, knowing how sensitive this topic is for you. Your effective writing should be blamed for all this. But I feel, this was the reason for all the crap that started on this forum & other social media platforms. It was like those who already hate Namik (Some Vikram fans) and Shiv for the same obvious reason, found another reason to bash/abuse/degrade him.

You might not get the seriousness of the situation because I'm talking as a fangirl, from a fangirl's perspective. Anyway, that has become a past. It's just you asked & I answered. Baat khatam!! 😊

If Namik was termed as a "rapist" due to my post, then you should understand how scarring it is for me to see that my words were twisted so nastily by people who saw this as an opportunity to bash him. It's like providing fodder without meaning to.

The thing is, when you witness something like that being shown for the first time in a show which you've just started liking, you tend to get carried away with your words. It happens especially when you have experienced something like that or worse, first hand.

@Red bold I don't think I can reveal this on a public platform as to WHY I said this, but I said it with good reason. Maybe you can ask Sara, she'll give you the reason behind it.

I don't care if people love me, respect me or hate me for some or the other reason unless they're the reason my bills are being paid, but I do believe that it's my duty to right a wrong if the wrong is done by me. You say you're not blaming me but you are blaming me, anyway, and it's ok, I guess, since I have managed to ruin a celeb's image overnight.

@Lilith...that's the reason why they say, think before you speak. Use your words wisely & all that.

You again misunderstood my point. As I said, I was talking this from a fangirls perspective & you might not get that. And you didn't get that!! Anyway, I wasn't hurt because 'you managed to ruin his image' as what you call it. I was talking about what kind of negativity we faced & how that post became one such reason for it. If you still think, I'm indirectly blaming you, I don't really know what to say then. Because you can't explain things to those who tend to misunderstand you.

Guess what, now I'm feeling guilty of starting this topic & replying to you. My bad!!

^^THIS. Unfortunately, some people twisted words to their benefit and did not spare the actor and even his fans. I think this clears everything and I don't think it really is her fault. Yes, the words were harsh but it is a sensitive topic. The makers should have been careful. And along with that, the fandoms should have been more careful and understanding. Anyway, things have gotten too bad.

To be honest, there was already a topic which really bashed Shiv as well as Namik before this topic...

I understand both POVs and both are right in their ways. We sometimes end up saying things harsher than intended due to the gravity of the situation or when we feel we are not given a chance.

The fact that people attacked Namik and his fans for something a character did is what baffles me the most. But it's still being done. Words are being twisted worse than ever.

@Gunjan, Nope, don't be. I'm glad this topic was brought up at the end of the day. It's better to blurt out the pent-up anger/frustrations than bottling it inside and just being cordial on the front. If I misunderstood your words, I apologise for it, again. But God knows I never meant any ill intent towards the actor in any way.

Anyway, the whole point of the post has been lost somewhere due to our replies, so let's end it here.

Its really a waste of time to discuss all the molestation scenes in the drama. The consent of the female lead is a big joke in thus drama. Even the female lead herself consider it as a joke and forgets it in few minutes.
So having a discussion on whether shiv or vyom touched her inappropriately dont have any validity since sharanya(writers) herself dont know whether it was appropriate or inappropriate.

The show is not deep enough to analysis or over-analysis any scenes or episode. Watch it to see your favourites and forget about it after 10:30 and fighting over it is not worth it.
