"Killed" doesn't mean shot or knifed. Poor guy could go so crazy after his wife's supposed secret killer lifestyle is exposed that he could run into oncoming traffic, jump off a building, so on..
Vyom is smart enough that he could stage the whole scene with Sharanya as the witness.
