Despite of trying best he couldnt sleep that night in his room. The thought of sharanya worried him, the images of her this afternoon made him restless. How can he ever forget the look he had seen on her face when he finished singing? She looked so scared and puzzled. Something was not right with her, his heart said. He made a mental note to speak about it in the morning. As it is he didnt feel sleepy anymore, hundred on disturbing thought were crossing his mind reasoning Sharanya's reaction. He threw the blanket aside and decided to go out for a walk may be it will help him to change the mood.
He came out of his room at midnight and locked the room. He felt a strong urge to check on sharanya health when he glanced at the door to sharanya's room. But stopped himself with a thought she must be fast asleep by now. He was just about to leave when he felt someone's presence on the other side of door to Sharanya's room. It was dark but he was sure that she was standing there and trying to open the door. Vyom checked on his watch, its almost quarter to 2 am.
'What is she doing? Where is sharanya going at this time? ' vyom thought to himself.
He waits in silence as the door opens and she comes out of her room.
" Sharanya?" Vyom calls her name and takes a step towards her but she didnt answered him nor looked at him for once. As she passed him, he grabbed her from her arm from behind.
"Where are you going?" He asked her.
" I am going outside." He hears her softly say. Vyom kept his eyes fixed in her face which holds no expression.
"Yes, that's what i am asking. Why are you going outside?" He questioned her in confusion.
"I have to go to him. He is calling me." She replied him with same tone with out even looking at him once.
He turned her body slightly and stood in front of her putting both his hands on her shoulder. "Sharanya?? Whom?" He asked shocked. She was expressionless even now when he was standing in front of her at a distance of mere inches away. He read her face worried and realized her eyes were not blinking nor she looked aware of her surrounding.
'Sharanya is sleep walking.'he thought again.
Vyom pushed her hair away from her face and asked "and who is this man calling you?"
"I will go out and help him. He ...is in pain." She said as few lines of worry appeared on her forehead.
Vyom heart sinked in fear. 'From when sharanya had sleep walking problem?' He was sure she didnt had when they were in college.
"Come sharanya." He holds her palm gently while other hand supported her shoulder. "I will take you to him." He said without himself knowing who is this 'him' she is talking about.
"I will take you to him." He said took her to her room. He closed the door from behind and still holding her hand he took her to her bed and made her sit on it. Then, Vyom gently helped her to lay down on bed. He brushed her face one last time before covering her with the blanket. Vyom took her hand in to his and tucked it under the blanket. Then , he stood up for a while watching her petite sleeping form. He waited a few minutes more before deciding to walk out of room. Vyom shut the door from out and it got locked.
He came back to his room and tried to sleep but this time but this time there was no trace of sleep left in his eyes. He tossed and turned thinking about sharanya and then his mind drifted to the time really precious to him.

She is busy reading her 1st term book when she hears a knock at window. She places the book aside and walks up to the window to check.
"BOOM!!" she jumps back at voice. Fear adorns her face and she closed her eyes with her hands.few seconds later a waves if laughter fills the room, she looks up annoyed just to see vyom is sitting at her window.
"I hate you" she mouthed as she banged her feet on floor and walked back to the place where she have kept her book. It took his seconds before he finally stopped laughing and he enters the hostel room completely.
"Why did you bother yourself at this time?" She faked a sweet smile while checking on watch which said its 10 pm.
Vyom walked closure to her and pulled the book from her hand. She whined at his action while he kept the book back on table.
"Vyom?" She shooted glare at him. "Why are you here?" She asked really annoyed. She genuinely wanted to study for test.
Vyom smile grew more , " i got a gift for you. But you have to earn it." She turned to face him and that's when she realized he had his one hand behind.
"What are you hidding there?" She tried to peep past him but he didnt let her do so. She huffed angrily and sat on bed looking other way.
"Okay fine." He brought one hand up in surrender. "Here you go" he stretched his hand for her to see the present.
Sharanya smiled at the cute teddy chocolate box. They were her favourite. She wished to pull him in hug but stopped in realizing it will be too jumpy to do.
She happily took the box in her hand and opened it. Vyom smiled at her tactics. She really is fond of chocolates and he never missed any chance to give her what she liked.
Sharanya took one piece out and ate it. She shuts her eyes taking the feel of melting bar. Vyom eyes got fixed on her face. She looked mesmerizing even doing such a small act.
"You want some?" She asked stretching the box ahead of him. Vyom nods his head in no and she shrugs her shoulder.
"How is your father?" He asked , clearly remembering their last talk. She had mention about her father going for some health check up.
"He is fine. He has increase his blood presssure because he was missing me." She chuckled. Her family really loves her a lot , she is so lucky to have them. She thought
"Chalo acha hai! He is fine." Vyom sighed in relief. He didnt like to see sharanya in any kind of stress.
Sharanya nods " and what about your father? How is he doing?" She asked while picking up the book from bed and putting it in its proper place.
" I...I dont know. Haven't spoken to him from a long time." He sadly replied and then there was silence.
Sharanya walks upto him and keeps a hand on his shoulder , " so why dont you call or go and meet them?" She asked him while looking at him.
" He must be very busy with meetings and as it is he is not in india." He lies but his voice gave up as it holds lot of pain and he looked like something bad is going in his mind.
Sharanya felt guilty . she should have never brought this topic in first place. She knew what realtion status he share with his parents.
"Yeah you are right. You shouldnot disturb him. After all he is earning for his only charming and handsome son." Sharanya proudly supports him in his lie.
Vyom chuckles and nods his head in yes, he noticed the stress she put in saying charming and handsome.
"Handsome and charming?" He raised a brow at her and she mischieviously shruggs her shoulder like she didnt care.
"Thankyou for being with me sharanya." He just said it as matter of fact and she smiled at him.
" Okay. Now? You are going to leave or you want me to get kicked out by warden?" She made a sad puppy face.
" lets get you kicked then. You can stay with me in my house." He grins at the thought. He earned a slap on his hand as a reward.
"Sharanya!" He whines as he rubs his hand in drama.
Sharanya practically pushes him out of window when he dodges her and walks back to the table where the chocolate is kept.
"I want a piece" he declares and opens it. Accidently , he drops the chocolate on floor. He kneels down to pick it when a strong fragnance hits his nose. Its stargazers!
"Sharanya?" He asked her in confusion.
Sharanya looked back at him with a frown. "What?"
He picks up chocolate and walks to the window. He was surprised to see flower under her bed.
"You too had a gift for me?" Vyom asked sharanya.
"No!" She gigled and turns him to window. "Now please go!" She pushed him mischieviously and giggles more.
Vyom felt something strange in the room but her beautiful laughter made him forget any queries.
He wished her bye for last time and walks out of window.

Next morning , he decided to wakenup early to check on sharanya. His eyes tried to adjust to sunlight. He havent slept well, he felt his body aching with exhaustion. Somehow he pushed himself to bathroom to freshen up.He was still thinking about sharanya while taking shower when he thought he heard some noise. He turns the shower valve off and tried to hear clearly. These noises were actually of someone shouting . he focussed more and then his is eyes widens in alarm and he rushed outside pulling up towel and gown with him. He wears the gown while running outside his room. He was sure it was sharanya voice and she is screaming. He came out of his room and ran to sharanya room. The door was locked and many guest and hotel staff have surrounded the door. They were banging the door asking her to open. Vyom quickly pushed everyone away and sighned them to be silent while putting one finger on his lips. Every one turned mute and were staring at vyom blankly.
"Sharanya?" He knocked the door twice and waited for her to reply.
There was a sudden silence in the room. Vyom took a deep breathe and moved a little so that he is standing right in front of the door.
"Sharanya its me Vyom." He bangs the door once more. "Open the door." He pleads.
"Vyom! Vyom i am scared." He hears her say. She sounds so stressful and scared. It worried him to death. But he maintain his calmself. He needs to put situation under control.
" afraid of what sharanya? I am here. Nothing can happen to you. Just open the door and let me in." He knocks the door few more time.
He felt as if she is struggling with something.
"Sharanya? Light switches are next to your bed. Please switch them on and then please open the door." Vyom said remembering the switches. Last night he have used them to turn the lights off.
After a while , he saw light pouring out of door from cracks. He turned to everyone who were still standing and requested them to leave. He didnt want sharanya to get embarass or afraid of anything. People obeyed it and left the place. In few seconds the door got opens and a very scared sharanya come out of it. The moment she opens the door she finds vyom standing and with giving a blink she hugs him tight and starts crying. Vyom could feel her body shaking like a leaf. He pats her head and brushes her hair to calm her down. Still being in hug vyom managed to get sharanya inside her room. He shuts the door from behind doesnt wants to have any free show to trespassers.
"Shhh sharanya what happened?" He wants to make her sit but the hold she had in a hug refrained him to move. He took her hands off his neck and makes her sit on bed.
He quickly walks to the table and pours a glass of water from jug. He gets the glass to her lips. She looks upto him and he nods her in yes. She quietly take sip from glass.
He kept the glass on floor and brushes her face delicately wiping tears from her face.
"What happened sharanya? Why were you so scared?" He asked finally onseeing her getting little stable.
Sharanya cries again and points at each corner of the room , " flowers every where. Flowers..." She manages to say between hicups.
Vyom takes her in a hug as he check the room.There were no flower around but only a strong fragnance of Stargazers...
