Chapter 3



The soft rays of sun entered the room with dabbed feet through the window and pecked her on her cheeks. Sharanya blinked her eyes several times before opening them. She scanned the room. She somewhere thanked god on realizing she was back in her hotel room. The traces of last night exhaustion still overpowered her and she attempts to bring a hand over her mouth and yawn into it, but stops alerting when she feels her hand rubbed against a skin.Sharanya lifts herself a little to see who is there next to her. The minute she laid the eyes on vyom , time stopped for sharanya as she admires him.He was curled up in a chair next to her bed. His eyes staring unblinking at the diary pages in his hand. Plenty of emotions pass through his face as he turns the pages by pages. Sharanya noticed the dark ring below his eyes,periodically his eyelids would droop downwards, only to have them snap wide open again, feigning alertness. His expensive looked unimpressive due to the several creases on them. His hair was unkempt and it ruffled against the soft breeze as if they were caressed by it. She frowns at the strand of hair ,which, fell on his forehead and couldn't help but itched with the feeling in her hand to push it back gently. Just when she lifts her hand to touch him, the spell broke and he looks at her worriedly. Vyom quickly kept the book aside in bed and got up. "You got up?" He asked as he kept a hand on her forehead to check for fever.
"Thankfully, the fever has gone." He shuts his eyes and sent a small prayer to the sky.
Sharanya fixed his eyes at Vyom while he was busy taking out medicines and water for her.
"Here, drink it . you will feel better." 
Sharanya eyed the glass and took the medicine silently" drinking from it. She gave the glass back to him and he keeps it aside.
"Let me call the Doctor and tell him you are up. I will be right back." She adjusted herself and he helped her with the blanket, putting it neatly over her.
Sharanya watched him leaving the room and sighed. A minute, hasn't passed yet and Sharanya started to miss Vyom's presence in the room. She shuts her eyes and pushes the blanket off herself. When the flapping of pages dragged her attention from the door to the diary. She instantly felt curious to read the book and so she picks it up from the bed and sat on the chair where once Vyom was sitting.








She let her finger roam freely on the text of the poem and admires it. Meanwhile, the door opened and Vyom enters with a tray which has a cup of coffee and some fruits on it. He noticed the book in her hand and a small smile lift up his face.
Vyom keeps the tray on table next to bed and helped sharanya to sit on bed while he takes his place on the chair.
" I have spoken with the doctor and he said he will visit here in the evening to check you." Vyom kept the coffee cup on the table and pulls up the tray on his lap. He settles the fruits on plate correctly and sprinkles chaat masala on it.
"Last night , uncle aunty have called you ,but you were sleeping. I told them i will ask you to call them in the morning. So in a while please call them ." vyom movedthe fruit plate ahead of sharanya still holding it. He hums while pointing her to eat from it. "And they dont know anything about last night. I didnt said anything. I know you wouldn't want them to be worried aboutyou." Sharanya listened to him and nods while picking up apple slice from plate.
Vyom smiled when she took a bite from Apple. He then gently placed the plate on bed for her to finish it up. Sharanya quietly ate the fruits on her plate as she felt really hungry due to not eating for more than 12 hours since yesterday evening.Once she finished it she kept the plate aside on table and picked up coffee mug.
"Vyom?" She calls him and he turns with his brow squeeze.
"You ate anything?" She just realized she havent even offered food to him and ate it like selfish. Vyom holds his eyes on her face as his eyes wrinkled with happiness and nods his head in no .
Sharanya feels guilty and she turns to pick up an empty water glass from the table. She pours half of the coffee in it and stretched her hand to him. "Come , join me for a coffee". She says with a smile.
Vyom sat back on chair with a ghostly smile and took the coffee glass from her.Vyom stealed a glance at sharanya while they sip on coffee.
"Vyom?" Sharanya asks while holding the mug with both her hands.
Vyom hmms in response and looks at her.
"Is it written by you?" She eyes up at the diary still on her lap. Vyom chuckles and nods his head inno.
" These are your words." Sharanya stopped and looked at him surprised.
Vyom laughs " don't look at me like this sharanya. You were very good with poetries in your college time. This poetry-" he stopped as if thinking about somethingand smiles "-is written by you. Actually they are lyrics you wrote it for my first song at college annual function." This piece of information surprised her and she keeps the cup aside.
"Then will you sing it for me?" She requested stretching out the book to him. He smiles and nods in no.
"Ofcourse sharanya." How can he refused any request from the girl who is his life. He took the book from her and kept it on his lap. Sharanya knots her brow in confusion making him chuckle at her adorable face.
"I dont need to refer this book for lyrics sharanya. They are imprinted on my heart. They might be your words but have became my only truth." He says and shuts his eyes relieving all the beautifull moments of them In college whenfor the first time he had sang the song for her. He clearly remember how happy she was that day and have hugged her before everyone on stage.



Tu guzar raha hai mere dil se meri ruh tak..
Tu he tu ,tu he hai sukoon mera 
tu he hai junooniyat..

He opens his eyes and looks up at her with a love that cannot be described through words.
She could somewhere relate with his emotions and her sudden change in heart beat only confirmed her strong liking for this song and she shuts her eyes taking in all the feelings that the song has to offer.

When she shuts her eyes she sees a vague and unclear pitcher appearing before her eyes. It looks like people are clapping and cheering up. Sharanya clutched the bedsheet in her fist as the pitcher began to get slowly clear as if the fog is settling down from her memory.

Mere haal se bhala kyu nahi hai tu wakif 
Ishq ke mutabika nahi hai ye munasif



His words are falling gently like a pleasant flower on her ear and her soul feels content with the music playing around. Sharanya focusses more to understand the pitcher clearly which her mind is playing. She could see a very unclear image of a person who somewhat looks like vyom and He is playing music on what looks like guitar. She feels attached to the music and she lives the emotions once again.
Suddenly her eyes starts blinking rapidly and her heartbeat is racing faster. The track of reel now pulls her in different set up where now she has walls around her , looks like someone's room and she is facing someone's back. Those line now have turned more pleasant with the rhythm that voice is playing. The person looks a lot different from vyom. He is taller and broader than him. Although the image is not clear yet she could connect with the emotion that the voice had.

Jo ye deewanapan hai tumse he adhatan hai
Tere sath lamha lamha jee raha hu katra sa..

Surprised with the intensity and emotions sharanya opened her eyes with shock and confusion. She found vyom still singing the song with passion with his eyes shut closed. She could no longer understand her own emotions. What are those clips? She is seeing why is she feeling such strong connection to the song. Lots of such questions began rising in her mind. A fading headache started to make its way and she brought a hand on her forehead.

Pyar tumse lakh hai..tu dhua dhua ya rakh hai..
Roz jal raha hai mujhme-

Her hands parted on their own and left her forehead . They got replaced with cold breeze which were blowing on her face and temple. The room was warm and she didnt feel cold on any other part of body but just her face and forehead. The feeling soothed her and she shuts her eyes again and once again the image rolled before her eyes. This time she was standing in a place with lots of white flowers around and smiles when the same music faintly falled on her ears.

- kuchkahi kahi zara saa...
Jayaz hai tujhpe deewangi meri
Rago se ruh tak hai rawangi teri

Music have stopped and she could only hear the breeze the breeze that passed by her. She saw an arm outstretched up for her. And without thinking she makes a mad run towards him to hug him tightly like she wants to hide herself from this bad world. As she is covering up the distance between them. She could see a smiling vyom standing before him and she hugs him with such a passion that made him stumble few steps behind taking her along with him. She holds him tighter in her palm and hides her face in his warmth.
The faint music have again began to play and she looks above her to see his face.

Jayaz hai tujhpe deewangi meri
Rago se ruh tak hai rawangi teri

Her face drains all the colour when she sees her own image happy with someone else whose face is hidden behind the fog. She focusses more and more but abruptly stops when a voice rings in her ear "sha...ra...nyaaa" laughing out loud.
Sharanyaflashed her eyes open as fear crepts on her. She looks here and there for any danger but finds noone around. She glanced back to vyom question but his eyes are still shut and is humming the last note of the song. She looks around and finds lights are switching on and off in loop and a tremendous amount of cold filled her body and she hugs herself tighter and tighter bringing her knees close to her chest she rubs her hand against her body to gain some warm.
The feeling is so worst that it grows goosebumps in her hand and back of her neck almost like someone have hold her from behind and is breathing on her neck. When she turns to see behind her. She finds no one but thick air...

Our hottie ghost called Sharanya in midnight that too in sleep walking. Not bad Mr ghost but what your intentions were? Romance with Sharanya or to scare her n disturb our Vyom.

Sharanya Vyom college hostel scene sssooo cccuuuttteee. But vyom its bad manner to enter girls hostel. But who care we are happy with your lil little romance.

Stargazer in Sharanya room whom daal me kuch kala he. Oh please Mr ghost can u bother to send me some stargazer please. Ha ha ha jokes apart really nice update. Love love love it. Keep it up dear. Its gonna be more interesting in future.

He is saying that she is flowing in his veins and travelling to his heart. She is his passion and reason for his life. He is upset that she is not aware of his love when as per love its not right atleast lover should know someone loves one so much.
This madness he have for her , makes him complete only with her. She is his half and needs to complete him. Now when she is away from him, he is losing his life drop by drop.

thank you so much for the meaning of poem. Its really means a lot . N ya she is not in dreamy land she have flashes of her past.

Fab update as always Tia!! As usual loved this update too! Really liked the flashback scene...Vyom sneaking in to bring her chocolates so cute so he smells stargazers in her room, they were from Shiv weren't they? And shanny hid them from Vyom? Well I'm looking forward to the next few updates to see if what I'm thinking is right or wrong 😛

Vyom is so boyfriend goals 😆 I love how he took care of sharanya in the night and calmed her down in the morning 😳
