let me write so long as the joy stays in my heart
and
let me write so long as my thoughts course through my head
and
let me write so long as my fingers are nimble
but
let me dream until eternity.

Sorry for the rather drab start, but its my state of mind right now as I return to watch yet another Indian soap (only to give it up midway, I'm sure, and scoot to deeper waters - I have currently parked myself at the Agean sea in Turkey's land of Ask's (love) and Sevda (loving). When the going get's tough, the tough really does get going for me. But enough of my poor soap watching history that no one here would be remotely interested in and on to brighter and better topics.

I skipped all but the last 5 minutes of yesterday (after the very melodramatic start and a glimpse of the jamming hamming session at the hospital - a real emmy award winning performance by the actors who play Sharanya's parents). The Ghastly Ghost with the Ghostly light has a sexy voice with the right timber - deep and husky and well, he can write a mean (I mean nice) poem or two.
Namik's performance is normally nuanced (or was in EDKV) but he can mumble and rush through his lines. I enjoyed it nonetheless - the poetry and the deep voice.

Coming to today's episode, my first thought (or my only thought) was that if EVER I were to lie in a vegetative coma for 2 years, please could I also find the energy, strenght and whatever it takes, to run like Sharanya upon waking up?! Please, could my muscles not get wasted while immobile in a coma for 2 years? Or perhaps, a Ghastly Ghost would come by in his Ghostly light and give me the energy of a duracell battery for me to wake up all refreshed. (END OF PRAYER).

But lets overlook the powers of television heroines, shall we? Vyom sounds sincere enough upfront and a bit shifty on the side. What he says is possibly partly true. Perhaps they were friends but the love story belongs to Shiv. Or perhaps Shiv has a pivitol role in Vyoms story but the placement of characters have changed and been manipulated. It looked like Ghost Dost was stalking Vyom and his storytelling as much as Sharanya in that scene. And I presume the lamp flickered because the neurons in the Ghastly blue of the Ghostly light reacted with the electricity causing a break in the electric cricuit and thus the flickering and blowing out of the lamp (the only logical explanation?).

But if it were up to me, I would go for the Ghost with the Ghastly transluscent blue, even though Vyom is so sincere and sweet and sugar and spice and everything that may or maynot be nice. I mean, here is a man with a deep voice and penchant for poetry who has come back from his grave for the lady he loves- and what's better - he mumbles sweet poetry in his deep husky voice. A ghost that creates poetry?(He has probably been to the dead poets society!). But let's pause here shall we - The ghost makes poetry, and Vyom mentioned Sharanya wrote the words that filled his music. Is there a slip here between the cup and the lip? A story lost in translation, Vyom?

So coming back to the preference of the Ghost (only because he came back from the dead and that soothes my romantic heart), as long as he does not turn into Frankenstein or the Zombie from the Night of the Living dead (and shows off his biceps as well as he can in his Ghostly blue), is he truly haunting Sharanya in the precap, or is the girl just getting frightened silly and testing her coma induced abilities of power running?

Well, tomorrow is another day and time will tell - if the blue turns into white, or takes a humanly form and the Ghost and his Guitar show up without the Ghastly light. (There you go- look at the person with the guitar, or non person with the guitar - its Shiv who has the guitar and made music)

As a side note, I would like to mention Mr Rosagulla with his Diabetes and Mrs Gulab Jamum with her BP. All soaked in sugar syrup - dripping from head to toe in it. I really would need to squeeze out all that sugar to digest Rosagulla Jamun.

The star of the show today - Nawab! - Baby, you rock. You gave the ghost a run for his blue money.

Hey Beagle it is so good to see you againšŸ¤—
Missed your writing back in JNDSD forum and I watched EDKV based on your recommendation in one of the AT and I guess that is why it's easier for me to not to pick sides here or get into wars since both Vikram and Namik are good actors though Namik has two things to his advantage his height and the husky voicešŸ˜‰

Haven't watched the 2nd episode yet but ever since the promos coming out I have been wondering if it is actually Vyom who is the bad guy in the story and Shiv the victim? Otherwise things would be too clear and transparent in the story.

I agree that the ghost obsessing about the girl would turn into a B grade Ramsay thriller. Ever watched Zee Horror show? My cousin used to force me to watch it in my teen years and it would scare the heebie jeebies out of me. I dont think they intend to be that scary here. But they better up it a notch. THe turks really know how to show romance and I'm used to that now. For some really good Romance - if interested - watch Kara Sevda or Kara Para ask . Kara Para Ask- subtitles available on youtube.

edited to add - Thank you and a big šŸ¤— sorry, havent posted anything online in a LONG time!

So good to run into you again, Beagle... The blue Casper has a special knack of reviving acquaintances, wouldn't you say?
Look forward to reading more of your thoughts!

Haven't watched the episode yet either ... And watched love money blood left it half way... Loved-hate fati ... Spent the first 1/4 begging for Omar and elif to kiss ...

The biggest mind efff of my life was when they showed who killed the fiance ... I remember I had made my family to sit as I watched ( they met me watching and I kept on begging for a few more minutes ) and no one could understand why I was FREAKING out ...

Merhaba! We've interacted a bit in the Vitharv AT back in the days. Anyway, are you watching both KS and KPA simultaneously?😃

Hey there Anu!

Lovely to bump into you again. I watched one of his shows inbetween and his character was a prick in that, excuse the language. The one with Lisa Haydon. But I look forward to this story and lets see how it progresses. Waiting to see Casper the friendly or not so friendly ghost now.

I watched Kara Para on ff mode and am rewatching now (episode 20) where Omer and Elif arein Rome for the second time and they reconcile. I dont think Tuba can act to save her life, yet she is the most popular over there. Engin is another thing altogether. There is somethiing nice and easy about him. And I really do like how he trashes Levant about with words and otherwise.

I dont like the actor who plays Fatih. But he does act well, like the psycho he is. I like Nilufer even less. Actually my favourite character in that show was/is Asli.

Merhaba! Hozgaldiniz. I have to admit I skipped a lot of kara sevda because it seemed like groundhog day beyond a point, and while I liked the female lead I preferred Emir to Kemal. I really like Kara Para, but also watched some of Cesur ve Guzel (But neither Tuba nor Kivanc can act) and Bin Sehir, they were good too. At the mo, I'm watching Kara Para and Siyah Beyaz Ask- which is the new show on Kanal D with Ibrahim Celikkol.

My absolute favorite actors from Turkey are ENGIN AKYUREK (Omerā˜ŗļø), Beren Saat, Neslihan Atagul, and Kaan U! They are mind blowing performersāļø Kivo and Tuba aren't the best of actors but they are so good to look at such that their flaws in their acting get camouflagedšŸ˜†

KS has a sad or should I say bakwas ending so I never completed it but nevertheless, the baddie and the female lead impressed me so much. You should watch FGSN next!

Btw, I am just ghosting around the forum ruing at the fact that both my boys (NamVik) have chosen such a ghastly show as their comeback (no pun intended)🄱
