Kelly dear, you spoke too soon as that's what they do throughout the entirety of the show😆

KS has a sad or should I say bakwas ending so I never completed it but nevertheless, the baddie and the female lead impressed me so much. You should watch FGSN next!

Btw, I am just ghosting around the forum ruing at the fact that both my boys (NamVik) have chosen such a ghastly show as their comeback (no pun intended)🥱

I like Engin Akyurek a lot. But I did not like Olene Kedar. It was a rubbish show with no depth to its characters. Ive watched Fatmagul but I skipped a lot. I'm waiting for ENgin's next show.

True, Elif and Omer needed little excuse to kiss! Have you watched Asi? I've probably watched all of Engin's shows:( all on FF mode though.

Its true. I find this Ghost concept rather ghastly too. But I did want to watch Namik again because he has quite a powerful screen presence. I must say though that when EDKV started I thought he was awkward but he sort of slipped into Shravans shoes with ease and his performance improved tremendously. That was one show with very little over the top melodrama, and thats probably why it did not last. Plus, they turned it into one before they ended it. The turkish shows in contrast are crisp and well written. Clearly no TRP aunties with horlicks in hand in Turkey!

Hey Beagle

Great post! Nawaab is indeed a cutie!

As for Vyom, lots of theories being thrown about, but one things for certain, he's not as easy going and as innocent as he makes out to be.

And looks like Shiv and sharanya really do have some deep soul connection. Even as Vyom was narrating their love story, she had no interest. She seemed more in tune with what was happening around her.

Nice post 😃
I'm eager to to watch today's episode ... hope they'll show us some of Shiv's POV or flashbacks so that things can get clear. 🤓
When Sharanya said,"Dimaag bhul sakta hain, dil nahi ..." or something like that, it seemed that whatever Vyom is telling might not be true. 🤔

I've not watched OleneKader but he looked his best in that and from whatever videos I've across on YT, he also seems to have performed very well as an actor too. You should watch Bir Bulut Olsam from his initial days where he played an epileptic guy obsessed with a girl. I've not watched Asi but I've heard it's a rip-off of Pride and Prejudice. Btw, there's a forum dedicated to discussing Turkish shows in general here on IF and elsewhere. If interested, ping me!

You're right about Namik's phenomenal growth as an actor in EDKV itself. In due course of time, he began to overshadow the FL quite convincingly. Even Vikram was not good in QH but he turned over a new leaf in JNDSD and how!⭐️

Haha, maybe that's why Indian show makers have begun to adapt Turkish series!

I didn't watch it on TV when it had aired in my country so binge watched it online. There's another show of his called FGSN where we waited and waited for the leads to come together ( it's the mother of all slow-burn/intense love stories) but in KPA after a point of time, the romance becomes too sugary and sappy lol But the twists and turns in KPA are amazing especially the first 13 episodes!

Thanks @saumi, @Whispa.

@Caput - we have turned this into an Engin/turkish thread, so I'll definately ping you later. But is this for the shows on Zinagi TV? I havent watched any of those. I cant bring myself to watch dubbed versions, I watch them in Turkish but with subtitles.

If you can find the subtitles, do watch Asi - if you like love stories. It is nothing like Pride and Prejudice. Murat Yildrim is very good in it. And the story is nice...atleast until the leap. What I like it the only villain in that story is destiny and not one person as such and all the characters have shades of grey. With KPA, the entire story was gripping and I enjoyed the rest of the show as much as Elif and Omer's romance. It was a nice crisp peice of writing and screenplay. And the sugary sweetness of the romance did not bother me because they never really stayed together long enough for it to get to me. There was always someone plotting against them and they came apart for longer than they stayed together - and yet- even when they were apart, they were always stood by each other. We never got the sense that they were apart.

@Kelly - KPA possibly has a huge following. Watch it. Its available on Youtube. I binge watch it on youtube.

I'm going to stop here before I get thrown out!
