Vikram was really terrific as the lover in pain . You could feel his angst , his determination. Brilliantly done.
Neither Donal nor Namik had any thing much to do in the pilot . Donal looked strictly okay-eish to me in the fb scene . She needs to up her act. But I guess the weight of carrying off this show will lie in the shoulder of two deewanas , which are , thankfully, played by two very capable actors.

Curious to know Vyom's family dynamics . Looks like a dysfunctional rich family . But loved the father-son bonding . Is the woman Vyom's real mother or step mom ?? Vyom didn't call her to share his joy . May be because he knows his mom hates Sharanya.

Even I wonder whether Sharanya even recognized V. She looked normal with her family but blank n as if in a trance with V.
Let the story unfold a bit more , as the 1st epi left so many questions.

Hey Lady M

First episodes will never be perfect cos the show and the actors and characters are still finding their feet.

Yesterday's episode was mostly about Vyom and his introdution and his feelings. Like you said, Namik and Donal didnt really have much to do yet their characters did raise questions which was nice.

Vyom's family is definitely not your normal family. And his mum seems to hate Shranya so it will be interesting to find out why.

I really felt that Sharanya could not remember Vyom. If thats the case it will be interesting to see Vyom's reaction to it.

Yet I've seen some shows where the pilot is essentially my favorite , like Supernatural ( Tv show ) pilot.
But I did say bhul chuk maaf for that reason only . Let the actors infact the entire cast and crew find their even footing n sink their tooth into it. 😃
Just imagine how heart broken will be poor Vyomwhen he'll see Sharanya couldn't recognize him. Already we saw a glimpse of it in the precap.

Hello Whispa🤗
The episode had its fair share of cliches and melodrama(TRP aunties ki Jay Ho)😆😆
But what mattered most is that it was not boring. Not even for a moment.

Vikram was damn good in this opening scenes. His love for Sharanya is as powerful as a devotee's devotion. It's unconditional. What caught my attention is that while he was praying to God for Sharanya's life,he only spoke about how Sharanya is in pain which showed that his love is selfless. He can't see her hurt.It was only after he saw her recovery that he thought of himself and how he couldn't live without her.So it showed how Vyom puts Sharanya's well being before himself.
And one more thing.Vikram should wear blue more often man!!

Donal looked beautiful for sure. And I loved her costumes as well.Neither too gaudy nor too OTT.⭐️

Now coming to Vyom's parents,I feel that Vyom doesn't get along well with his mom or maybe she isn't his real mom at all.
Amar Upadhyay made an impact as Rajan Bedi👏Though I didn't like Mrs Bedi.I think she wants to keep her son in her control.

Then comes the one and only Shiv.We didn't get to see his face and I know we have to wait for some time. But he did make his presence felt. And his voice had an extreme depth and power.I liked the settings in which they introduced the ghost along with the BG tune.👍🏼

Hey Ayesha🤗

Thankyou so much for replying with some wonderful points.

I think all shows have to have some sort of melodrama for the TRP aunties. They need to be hooked to the show too.😆

Vikram is an excellent actor and he really showed his devotion and love as Vyom really well. You could feel his fear at the thought of losing Sharanya. And like you rightly said, he was only thinking of her pain. It wasn't until she was fine that he thought about himself.

Vyom's parents are interesting. They obviously have an uneasy relationship between themselves but there's no denying Rajan's love for his son. His mums actions are a different matter.

Despite Shiv only turning up at the end he definitely made an impact.

Lets see what happens today.

Hi Whispa,
Havent watched the episode and so I'll reserve comment. I try and avoid the melodramatic TRP bits that make me cringe. And since I have graduated to Turkish TV, it is a marked difference to be able to watch (I saw the last 5 min) and not try and understand bits and pieces of familiar words or read subtitles at the same time!

I have to admit I loved Namik's earlier show though his character irritated me at the end and I stopped watching. I'm waiting on this and back here to see what he has chosen because he is a sensible, well articulated sort (though he did do some fairly ridiculous stuff in a gul khan show).

Rajan truly loves his son more than anything. Also Vyom and Rajan share a great bond as shown in the episode.About Vyom's mom, well,it seemed that she is not on good terms with her husband. She also said that,'Sharanya ki wajah se hamara beta hamare haath se nikal gaya hai'.Perhaps she is one of those typical elitist moms who think that the girl is not good enough for her son just coz of the financial status.
Also I saw a small clip on Twitter where Rajan seemed to be angry on his wife and then probably he sees someone and immediately changes his behaviour. So probaby they are pretending to be a happy couple.

And I will give them some points for their beautiful house and bgm😉😆
