Yeah that's true.

Aneri played the role of Saanjh and she was the most annoying character. Nothing against the actor.

I think Beyhadh 1 Jennifer was sooooooo much better than Kushal and Aneri in the acting department that it became totally one sided. No one cared about the other characters.

If they had taken some other actor for Kabir, they similar would have happened in this show as well.

That is a very valid sentiment. You are right, we don’t know what the future holds. There is no guarantee that we would enjoy her next show either. There is nothing wrong in enjoying your favorite actor’s work and being happy for them. Similarly, just because someone skips or criticizes their favorite actor’s show/movie, they don’t automatically become fake fans. Both kinds of fans want the best for their favorite , their opinions differ, that’s all.

I am not a Shrenu fan per se, I am more of a Jahnvi fan, my opinion is based on my experience in various fandoms. I have sat through worse atrocities for my fav actor(s), and there have been times when I put my sanity/happiness first and wished my favs luck but not watched their shows/movies.

I think it comes down to expectation. In Ekta or Gul shows l know what to expect. I know the female characters won't be great, so I won't keep any expectations.

But here the fans were led to expect. In fact most fans who started watching the show is because they wanted to see a grey lead.

One can't blame fans in this case for complaining when the show went south.

I am a Shrenu fan but I love characters like Jahnvi and Gauri more.

Also, I have watched Gul shows (which are supposedly the worst) and even they are better than EBSS at this point.

In show before this have I seen the "righteous" hero vamp-shaming the woman, making a slave out of her, and his family of criminals believing they are justified in this.

The problem here is that there is no redemption for Kabir.

In other shows mls are wrong but they repent. Here the fl was the victim is repenting to the family. That sends a very wrong message to the society.

This is my main problem.

Also, I remember how Shrenu used to post instastories of rikara scenes sometimes even when she got 2 mins screenspace, but she doesn't do that for this show.

She used to do that initially for Jahnvi, but she hasn't done that for Pooja, even in the last two weeks when the show was in dire need of trps.

In fact Zain posted instastories of scenes last to last week but she never reposted them.

I don't think she is invested in this show mentally anymore. It's just a matter of paycheck for her.

That's why I feel worse.

Maybe I am too much of a concerned citizen but the message of this show bothers and annoys me to a great extent, and it seems to be getting worse everyday.

Even fans of other shows like YRKKH recently protested against the bigamy in their show.

So I dunno why fans of this show can't complain when anti-social content is shown? No other fandom tells it's members to not voice out their disappointment. The forceful positivity is more aggressive than negativity

No wonder the strength of the fandom has reduced to half of what it was when it started. Can see it here in IF also, where the forum almost empty now.

Agreed on every count. I mean, I am virtually an outsider, and I feel bad the way the story came undone, I can imagine how loyal fans would be feeling.

At this point, I am glad the actors and other crew members are getting paid, that’s about it.

This show has become the most typical drama now.

Some people genuinely opposed the devar bhabi relationship . I respected their point on that time. But the same people are ready to enjoy the son and step mother relationship with full hearted.(definitely they also read the article) Because some other actress will act in this part . So their opposition was not for the relationship. It was only for the actress and the insecure or jealous feelings towards her. Double standard people but pretending like they are created to save the morality.

Exactly Shru that's what I'm saying that ppl will complaint now. We have been waiting since revamp for Pooja to become smart it's almost 100 episodes now. How much more to wait?
