I guess like someone on this thread pointed out (Annie, was that you?), Kabir is not a perfect character. He has his flaws. He hid the fact about Vyom, from Kavya too for the longest time, though that was still for her good 😕

So, I think I will hope for some sort of journey for him too. To see that a) his family has committed big crimes b) not be judgmental of Pooja.

Pooja, of course, is suffering through Ishani. Although even Rani is wrong here, being obsessed with Kabir.

Basically, barring Aarush, everyone on this show has some flaw, so we have to wait and see how or whether they change by the end of the show.

I agree. The producer Dipti said the same thing abt the characters of this show. All the characters are flawed.

I know......I am little demanding.

they are destroying every character because of so called "Tashan",

now I hate the word "Tashan".

But I guess, now I have to keep my expectation low.

Since we are stating facts here let's remember the fact that senior Mittals actually didn't know that Ashok Sharma was innocent till after his death when PK told them and then if I'm not wrong through a flashback Suman asked him to surrender and even Dadaji didn't agree with what PK did, so till that point senior Mittals were as guilty as the entire janta who were standing there while Pk and Manohar were burning Ashok's house, and I feel there is a huge blooper made by the makers here, in the recent flashback they shouldn't have shown dadaji and Suman if they knew the girls were there, actually no one should have been there honestly, I mean that would make every single person of the crowd there guilty of burning two innocent kids with their assumed guilty dad, so here we have so many culprits even from the people even if they belong to the families who lost someone due to that altered medecine. This proves that no one should take law in their hands, because the bias will always be there, and the emotions would control you, so this is wrong at so many levels.

About Kabir, I feel he is the only one who showed courage to a certain extent and tried to get his father punished, he also tried to make Pooja understand the fact that revenge is a very dangerous thing that can change you, where you would get so engrossed to the point you wouldn't realise when it makes you swing to the dark side or cross a certain line that would make you lose yourself, this why he made the comparison with his father and talked about showing her the mirror. In no case he denied what his father did or the fact that senior Mittals are also to blame to a certain point but it won't equate them to PK Mittal because when Ashok died they didn't know he was innocent but what I blame them for is not siding with the law if Ashok is guilty then it's up to authorities and law to punish him, no one has the right to take justice in their hands and worse if they actually knew that two innocent kids were burning along their father there, then every single person of the people standing and watching should be blamed as well. Obviously even when senior Mittals came to know the truth, they didn't do anything against PK, they all fall weak and got biased, it takes honestly a lot of courage to stand against someone close of your family, to face humiliation and badnami, hence I would honestly cut Kabir some slack, the moment he discovered what his father did, he decided to send him to jail. With regard to other senior Mittals, I don't know how much he knows about their involvement, actually things happened so quickly and they found themselves without shelter then PK died and Kabir found himself faced to a big responsibility, so I doubt he would get time to ponder over what happened because his priority would be finding shelter to his family and providing for them. He has a paralyzed grandfather and a mother who has been mentally instable for quite long and he knows how no one could stand against PK not even Dhruv, in that entire family Kabir actually was mainly the one who faced his father about his deeds, about his thoughts, about his hypocrisy and he stood for his mom and for his wife, and despite seeing his father almost burnt by Pooja, he understood where she came from and faced his dad about it and he actually saved her from his dad and even from being committing a murder outside the boundaries of law, so if people still think he is hypocrite then it can't be helped, because given the situation and the fact that his family is involved, he tried to do as much as he could, honestly it's easy to punish someone who isn't close to you and extremely difficult to punish someone so close to you. I know it was silly of him to expect Pooja to give them back their house and till now all he asked for is the house built by his dadaji, even in the recent OLV, Zain talked about getting back the house and not the entire property, but let's see what the CVs will show in the future, to create tashan they might miss some important points with regards to characterisation which might lead to inconsistencies in characters which has unfortunately been the case in the majority of indian shows we have watched. Actually even some big international shows ended in a disppointing way because of lack of consistency in writing, change of writers or to create some situation. Sometimes some writers/makers think that the shock value and going to some extremes would make for a good watch, but they forget that the most important thing is characterisation, if you suddenly show some character behaving in a way different to what they all stood for or make them do something not justifed and not well built up for, then you might ruin everything you have achieved so far even if the initial story and characterisation were good. I have seen shows end in a very disappointing way after being wonderfully written for so long all due to rush and inconsistency in writing and you can also see simple stories with eventually low budget that proved being a success because of good writing and consistency.

In this context, GoT season 8 came to my mind. Characterization went out of the window, everything was compromised to satisfy the ending the writers had in mind.

I definitely understad that it may be a little soon for Kabir to say anything as PK mittal just died and now he suddenly has the whole responsibility of his family on his shoulders. As such, I would prefer it if he just refrained from any kind of "badla" from Pooja at this point. As you mentioned, he already has a lot going on that he needs to straighten out first. So I definitely don't think tashan with Pooja right now is the best idea. Right now, i really want him to just be the bigger person and kind of establish his family somewhere first...get a little bit steady on his feet. This defaming pooja business should be done later if at all...I just think this tashan between Pooja and Kabir is a little too soon...everyone has been through a lot and it just seems as if there's no one has any reaction to any of the proceedings. Kabir didn't question his family, his family doesn't seem that bothered about PK's death...now Kabir is suddenly twisting Pooja's wrist and saving her from Keechad and threatening to publicly defame her...it seems a bit quick and weird... Pooja is trying to instigate Kabir and honestly, it seems to be working. And I didn't want it to be that way, that's all!

Anyways I might just feel that posting about an indian show or a fictional character was just a waste of time LOL, they usually make you eat your words soon after LOL, because as long as TRPs, ratings and channel meddling are what guides the story and as long as there is no consistency in characterisation or a logical build up to characters and situations, you will just get disappointed in case you had any expectations

Wow actually I had Game of Thrones in mind when I talked about that!!! I just hope in the books things turn out to be different, George R.R. Martin should finish the last two books!! I heard once they ran out of books, things went downhill
