And therefore we must behave as human beings do and try to sympathize with one another rather than go round in endless cycles of murderous revenge. I see a very logical side to Kabir and I'm hoping that he helps Pooja heal."
Kabir is definitely up there as one of my all time fave male leads on TV. He isn't flawless, but despite his flaws, his rationality and kind-heartedness makes him a very likeable, real and raw character. Just like you, I feel that Kabir would help Pooja heal, after the initial tashanbaazi. She is going to rile him up a lot more in the future, and he will snap, but his inherent compassion for people would eventually cause him to help Pooja - once she lets him help him. I don't know about love, it is probably going to happen given the nature of Indian shows, but I do see Kabir becoming Pooja's friend and confidant in the near future.
"This is all she has thought about nearly all of her life and to be honest, she really knows no better. She had very little in terms of parental guidance and had to be strong, cold and hard in order to make a place for herself and her sister in this world."
Again, spot on. Amma keeps warning her that she is only destroying herself in this revenge game, but Amma herself is, to an extent, responsible for that. Pooja has no faith in love or friendship, and marrying someone like Dhruv didn't help her at all. No offence to JanRuv shippers, but the guy is creepy as, and never understood Janhvi. I suppose that was the way his character was written since he is not the lead. I never saw his actions as romantic. Kabir on the other hand, already understands Pooja, more than her supposed husband did in a year. I still ship Kabir-Kavya and hope she makes a comeback, but if they have written her character out for good, Kabir is the man for Pooja (if any at all). His kindness would help Pooja out of the cycle of self-destruction - that is if they try to redeem Pooja.
Loving the discussion! :)
Honestly, I just find it so sad that Pooja doesn't even have one person to call her friend. Her world is her sister and even her sister has walked out on her now. She is more alone than ever. If not love, I definitely want Kabir to support Pooja and show her that all relationships don't have to end in lies and deception (although I totally ship them together!!!)
I agree that I also was never a fan of JanRuv. I didn't feel it between them! But there's a definite spark between kabir and pooja! There is definitely a possibility of there being something more between them!
