Similar thoughts, I followed Tashne Ishq where I loved Zain's character, didnt watch Namkaran regularly, but some of the scenes between aditi and zain were intriguing. They did have chemistry.

Recently this scene between tanvi and zain was supposed to be romantic, a bgm was supplied in aid but still , nothing.

Shrenu and PK Mittal are the pillars of the show tbh, even Zain ( until now ) didn't have much to do, some of his scenes were good enough.

I wonder how the makers are planning to fit his character.

Is he just there to romance the protagonist?

I really hope his chatacter has more depth.

But why it has to be romantic ?? .. he married his friends wife not long ago and seeing them romancing does not look logical ..they were friends.. why their relationship cant start with friendship , this would have looked more logical and wathable ..and than they can fall for each other ..

I guess his character will grow as long as he is not doing or protecting Kavya and son only.. he has returned home finally after 6 yrs ..he can see his mother behaving weird , father is annoying.. why cant he take responsibility of his mother .. more involved with his family ..etc etc ...

I expect Jaanvi Vs Kabir. The competition between them should be in the business side or the politics side in future. Definitely it will be an interesting one. I can never accept Jaanvi Vs kavya. I like kavya's face but can't believe that this face can show the various expressions according to the situation even in future.

Makers are aware of Zain and Shrenus Popularity .. so it will be Jhanvi Vs Kabir only ..

Why mock characters.

Zain & shrenu popular hai that doesn't mean others can't be show or characters be given meat.its plain stupid to assume just because two particular actors are famous you expect others to be ok with being just mute spectators & never knew popular actors hona is a criteria for getting to do something on show's. Aisa hota toh aadhe se zyada shows kabhi nahi chalte.

I don't think its anyone's dislike for her. Actually Tanvi's character should be explored more in order for people to see her acting capabilities. Till now we haven't seen much of her maybe that's why they are scared about how it would turn out to be.

According to me, I feel there is not much requirement of having a good chemistry between the couple, because this is a family show. If she can act well ,she will be accepted by almost all I guess. But we shouldn't judge her before she gets her chance to perform properly.

But I do think she will soon gain her importance in the show, because she will realise first that Jhanvi is not a good woman. I think this because Kabeer adores and believes his bhabi too much to ever suspect her. It will need substantial amount of time and proper proofs for him to doubt her. In the meantime , Kavya can try to find proofs and then try to convince Kabeer. She can also directly challenge Jhanvi. So she has much to do in the show, and her role is also a meaty one.

Where did u see anyone mocking or disliking Tanvi ?

If I say I would like to see Kabir Vs Jhanvi then it’s my choice and that’s what makers are promoting since day one .

Yes popularity of actors does work along with good story , good characters and chemistry ,

One of the reason serial moved from SB to SP was bcs Shrenu N Zain worked for the channel with their long running shows so star is using their popularity this is my POV

you never said it as a personal opinion you implied it as a general opinion dear.the one who you replied to clearly said she can't Kavya vs. Jhanvi & that's fine but you straight away said they won't work so yes that Ain't your personal opinion.

why r other shows running & topping charts too while this show failed in first week which is a test for your shrenu's popularity.

His tarha promote Kiya agar popularity Hoti toh trp aana chahiye that na Kyun nahi aaya & This Ain't cos I hate shrenu but clear level headedness of her few fans who r claiming & wanting Tanvi to be nothing but a mute spectator.

& No where in promos was Kabir jahnvi face off been implied.it was a grasshopper first & than a makdee.

& Let me break some myths show wasn't shifted to star cos zain & shrenu are popular but cos sufiyana was adamant on a prime time slot while Dipti was fine with a early time slot too & star didn't want to let go a prime show before IPL & This I'm not claiming out of jealousy but facts as said by sufiyana producer themselves.

Zain & shrenu are popular but that doesn't mean Tanvi for her entire run should be a meek wallpaper.Agar kuch karne ko denge nahi toh kaise pata hoga whether she is good or not.

Coming back to my comment I stick to what I said and it’s my choice n stop repeating that I mocked Tanvi

I said what I would like to see but that does not mean I will get it n yes I do not think Jhanvi Vs Kavya will work again it’s my POV

Mkers needs to focus on Kavya ( character , ) viewers need to see FB iof her husband n kid rather than forced romance with kabir, her FB scene of her married life with vyom and friendship with kabir. Vyom kabir n Kavya flashback is needed to understand n to be shown

At the moment Kavya kabir plot looks weak and again it’s not mocking her it’s makrrs fault . You need to understand the difference between mocking n criticising , here I m blaming makers mainly

I've never seen tanvi before and only know she was the lead in star bharat's jijimaa and myself also started watching this show like everyone else for zain only and also thinking shrenu would be cast opposite him, but I've come to terms with the fact that shrenu's character is out for revenge and zain is cast opposite tanvi.

I have also not been quick to judge tanvi's performance or chemistry with zain given that it's the second week and zain-tanvi romance has not been shown, as they've only been shown moping and depressed because of the family as well as awkward with each other understandably because of the circumstance, as well as the fact that even in the past it has took me time to accept actors and couples beyond one month, yet here within the first two episodes tanvi was said to have no chemistry with zain or terrible actress when she was given barely any dialogues, romance scenes with zain and was just made to stand silently.

So for this reason I understand your sentiments about this forum because even I'm baffled how people think two people can show chemistry just stood next to each other without romancing and constantly amidst family drama, and how people within two episodes can make up their mind about an actress who has been given nothing to do yet.

It needs to be taken into account that the way this couple is, they are meant to be awkward with each other right now, sad etc because of the circumstance in which they married and how they are both being treated by the family so I don't see why people are complaining about them being awkward when the circumstances have created such an awkward dynamic between them. Plus now I have no qualms about the production house not having paired zain-shrenu as I think they thought through the story well and knew what they wanted.

If a die hard avneil/ adiza fan like me who started watching this show thinking shrenu would look good with zain can keep an open mind and not jump to judge before anything concrete has been given to tanvi to show her chemistry with zain or her acting skills then why is it so hard for people to keep an open mind and wait for things to develop. Tanvi is literally being given nothing right now, so what can we judge her on?

Plenty of people on this forum have posted comments critising tanvi's chemistry with zain and also her acting/ expressions since the second episode itself throughout the forum. How can you miss them? My issue with this is people are being too judgmental quickly because of their love for zain/ shrenu or their desire to see shrenu-zain pairing in the show as well as people who are adiza/avneil fans. Too many people have said that they don't have chemistry and are awkward (even when there's been no romance and awkwardness has been intended between them) plus people saying she needs to work on her expressions/ is always sulking when she has been given nothing to do by the writers other than stand like a silent spectator or take verbal abuse from characters so would obviously have a sulky face. How can you deny having seen people making comments about disliking tanvi or critising her when these comments have been made numerous times throughout the forum?
