So we're still running with the original concept of the show where Tara brings the ek boond ishq into MJ's life. How I see it is that circumstances and the environment may change but the love and connection felt and experienced by Mriara will remain a constant. Not even a change of identity or memory loss can separate the soulmates because their love is pure and good which will conquer over the hatred that both Om and Laado/Kala possess 😊

Take for instance: MJ smartly shielded Daadu from RP, whereas Balli is obliged to let Laado use Pari as a leverage to him. In short, MJ was smart while Balli is more like a puppet. I don't know how can someone's personality change so much just because of memory loss?😕

He doesn't remember what he was like 5 years ago. All he knows is that he is indebted to Laado for his life and he has been brainwashed in such a way that he's become a puppet. But now you can see him questioning Laado which what he didn't do for 5 years. As for Pari, only recently has Laado started showing that her threats aren't empty which is why Balli has started to shield Pari.
Balli isn't intelligent or righteous like MJ but that will come when he realises that what he has been spoon fed for the past 5 years is all false.
