Next morning because of the high dose of medicines, Mrityunjay got up late.

Tara, after getting up, was worried thinking how Mrityunjay would be. What if he had again gone through those anxiety sessions? No one was with him. How he might have dealt with it.. I hope he is fine...

She had checked 10 times since morning, but had found the study door closed each time.

She was in her room thinking what to do when the door of their room opened and Mrityunjay came in. Tara felt relieved after seeing him; his face clearly showed how upset he was.

"Breakfast is ready, come soon." Saying this Tara left room.

After half an hour, Mrityunjay came for breakfast. Seeing him coming, Tara signaled Dadaji to go inside his room.

"Where is Dadaji?" he questioned.

"You were late so he had his breakfast." she replied roughly.

"Strange, he never did this before." he thought.

After having breakfast, Mrityunjay started to leave for office, "Joseph, bring the car."

"He is on leave." Tara replied.

Hearing her, Mrityunjay stopped.

"Then I will take the other driver with me." He started walking.

"Today all the drivers are on holiday." She interrupted his walk.

"What!" He turned to face Tara. "I have work at office and there is no driver at home." He took a deep breath and said, "Fine I will take a cab." He turned to leave.

"Why would you take a cab? You know driving, so today drive for yourself." Tara said, coming near Mrityunjay and then stood in front of him.

Without speaking a word, he started to walk but Tara blocked his way. Mrityunjay was getting angry with this.

"Today if you want to go to office then drive and go, otherwise don't."

Hearing this Mrityunjay rolled his eyes, engulfed his anger and said, "Fine, then I am not going anywhere." And he started walking towards the stairs in anger.

Tara followed him inside the room.

He was fuming in anger and was pacing in his study. He started throwing books from the bookshelves in anger.

Seeing this, Tara entered the room and held his hand.

"Stop it Mrityunjay. What you are doing?"

"Leave my hand Tara and please go out of this room." He said trying to control his anxiety.

"No, I am not leaving you." Saying this, she took the books from his hand.

"Why don't you understand Tara? Leave me alone." He said, turning his face away from her.

"No I am not leaving you." She said coming in front of him.

"Please leave Tara. I don't need anyone." He banged his hand on the table.

"You don't need anyone but I need you Mrityunjay, you are my friend and I am not leaving you." she said taking his hand from the table and holding it in hers.

Mrityunjay sat on the couch and started sobbing. He was crying like a child who has lost his favorite toy. Tara sat next to him, took his hand in hers and said,

"I am always with you Mrityunjay."

Mrityunjay hugged Tara, "Tara I can't drive ...I can't..." he said sobbing.

Tara patted him, "You can Mrityunjay...you can..."

Breaking the hug, he said, "Whenever I try to drive, I remember my accident which resulted in Radha's death. Everyone says it was an accident but I know it was my fault and I killed my friend. "

"That was your past Mrityunjay and you have a present and a beautiful future and as I am here with you, nothing can happen. Trust me."

He looked at her in disbelief. Tara stood taking Mrityunjay's hand in hers and walked out of the room to the car.

"Trust me." She said and signaled him to sit inside the car.

First Mrityunjay hesitated but after seeing Tara's face which was full of trust for him, he sat inside the car. She sat on the front seat next to Mrityunjay.

He closed his eyes to concentrate, but the accident scene played again in his mind. He opened the door to get down from the car but Tara held his hand and pleaded him to try at least once. He sat down again and started the car, keeping his trembling hands on the steering.

Seeing his low confidence, Tara kept her hand on his and said,

"I am always with you."

The car rolled slowly in the lawn only for one minute and then stopped.

"I can't ...I can't." He screamed.

"You did it Mrityunjay ...you did it..." she exclaimed in amazement and clapped. He was seeing Tara confoundedly.

"That was enough for today Mrityunjay. We will do some more practice tomorrow."

"Why Tara? What you will get by this? There is no use of all this."

"I am doing this for myself."

Saying this, she got down from the car, went inside the mansion and brought Joseph, "Do your job Joseph."

Mrityunjay was stunned on seeing Joseph there, "So she lied to me." He was watching Tara perplexedly, and she smiled.

Her smile showed how content and happy she was with this attempt of his.

Tara called Dr. Fahim to tell him about Mrityunjay's activity that day.

"Dr. Fahim, today I made him drive for one minute. Is it ok?"

"It's a great start."

The whole day Mrityunjay was thinking about what had happened that morning,

"She has so much faith in me. Why? She trusts me. Can I trust myself?"

After returning from college, Tara was doing her usual college work along with listening to her favorite show.

Mrityunjay entered the room slowly pushing the door open.

"Tara, I am trusting your trust, otherwise I don't have any faith in myself."

Saying this, he closed the door slowly.

Today Mrityunjay came to sleep in their bedroom. The fear in him was prominent. Today also he woke with a jolt, and Tara helped him in relaxing.

Next day, when Mrityunjay returned from his office, he himself asked Tara whether they can continue driving practice. Seeing his willingness to cope with the situation, Tara went near Mrityunjay, slipped her hand in his and walked out of the room for practice.

They took a round of the mansion, which was a five minutes drive. While driving, Mrityunjay's hand trembled many times, and each time Tara kept her hand on his to assure him that he can do it.
