Both Dadaji and Raghu Kaka were staring at Tara with astonishment on their faces, a determined wife to bring her husband out of trouble.
"Is it possible?" Dadaji asked seeing a ray of hope for Mrityunjay.
"Yes Dadaji. And once Tara decides to do something, she goes to any extent to complete it. I just want your support." she said.
"I am always with you Tara Bahu." Dadaji's eyes with filled with tears, thinking what else did he want in life.
"Okay Dadaji, from tomorrow we will start our mission to bring back Mrityunjay."
Dadaji smiled hearing this, "Yes Bahu."
Tara was trying to think about what she needed to do to bring Mrityunjay out of depression once and for all but was not getting it. She went to the stable thinking that a change in place might give her some ideas. She went straight to Maria and started talking to her.
"Maria we are planning something to bring your master back to normal life and I want your help. I am trying to get some ideas but I am not getting any. I think one ride on you will make it clear."
By this time, Mrityunjay came to their room and went near the window to get some fresh air. He switched on the radio.
It was playing
~Yahin doobe din mere...Yahin hote hain sabere...
Yahin maranaa aur jeena...Yahin mandir aur madeena...
Teri galliyaan, galliyan teri galliyan
Mujhko bhaave, galliyan teri galliyan
Teri galliyan, galliyan teri galliyan
Yuhin tadpaave, galliyan teri galliyan
~
Mrityunjay saw Tara talking to Maria. He smiled seeing her pat Maria.
~Tu meri, neendon mein sota hai
Tu mere, asko mein rota hai
Sargosi, see hi khyaalon mein
Tu na ho, phir bhi tu hota hai
Hai silaa... tu mere... dard ka..
Meri dil ki duaayein hain
Teri galliyan, galliyan teri galliyan~
She sat on Maria thinking what she needed to do, "His heart is restless and I can't see him in this state." She tightened Maria's reins when a sudden thought of him gave Tara goose bumps.
"What is this Tara?" She left that thought there and set Maria at a quick trot.
~Kaisa hai, rista tera mera
Ye cheharaa, phir bhi kitanaa geharaa
Ye lamhe, lamhe ye rasham se
Kho jaaye, kho naa jaaye humse
Kafilaa... waqt ka... rok le...
Ab dil se jooda na ho
Teri galliya, galliya teri galliyan
~
Mrityunjay was watching every move of Tara from the window.
Mrityunjay's heart said, "A smile on her face is enough to strengthen me."
Mrityunjay's mind said, "Oh...really Mrityunjay ...does it give you strength to fight with your fear?"
His heart replied, "I am not bothered about it right now. I just want to see her smiling."
While riding, Tara suddenly stopped and kissed Maria's neck. "Brilliant idea Maria. We will do that." Saying this, she rode back to the stable.
After tying Maria when she was walking out of stable, she suddenly looked at their room's window where Mrityunjay was standing watching her.
As soon as his eyes noticed her looking at him, he moved away from the window.
"Where you will run Mrityunjay? From tomorrow you will have to face it." She murmured.
Mrityunjay was sitting quietly in their room, deeply immersed in his own thoughts and he was sweating.
Tara came near him, "Mrityunjay is everything fine?"
He nodded in yes and left the room without saying a word.
"Mrityunjay, even if you don't tell me, I know you are not fine. But I promise you, you will be fine soon." She searched in some books for understanding how a depressed person needs to be treated so that he could recover soon.
Mrityunjay went inside the study, closed the door and went to the study table. He picked up Radha's photo and said, "I am sorry Radha. I killed you. I killed my best friend." He started sobbing.
At the dinner table, Dadaji and Tara saw Mrityunjay missing.
Tara went to call him, "Mrityunjay, dinner is ready. Please come down."
Hearing Tara voice, he moulded his voice and said "Yes, I am coming." He then wiped his tears and went for dinner.
At the table, Dadaji and Tara after seeing Mrityunjay's sad face understood that he was again heading towards the same depression.
"Dadaji, I am thinking of learning driving." She purposely announced loudly so that even if Mrityunjay was not in a mood to listen, he would hear this.
"Great. You should learn." Dadaji supported Tara.
Mrityunjay was hearing this conversation, but at the back of his mind last year's accident scene was playing again and again.
Seeing Mrityunjay not reacting to this, Tara purposely said, "What do you say Mrityunjay?"
"A...a...I..I..I think..." He stopped and then after taking a deep breath, he said, "Do what you want." he said, looking intently at his plate.
"Then also Mrityunjay say naa, should I?" Tara was trying to figure out his reaction.
"No." he replied bluntly and went into his study.
Tara wanted to stop Mrityunjay, but Dadaji signalled her not to interrupt him now and give him some time.
Today Mrityunjay was constantly haunted by the memory of the accident. He hadn't returned to their room and after taking high dose of medicine, slept in the study.
Tara was worried for him remembering his last night's anxiety. She slept sitting on a rocking chair while waiting for Mrityunjay.
