Return Journey

I wished they could have stayed here for long. I will miss them. They are such wonderful people...
Let's see their return journey.

"I wish we could have stayed here for long," said Meethi capturing Nainital's beauty in her eyes for the last time on this trip.

"Yes, we will miss Naintal." Vasu leaned her head on Tara's shoulder. Tara caressed Vasu's cheek to console her.

"We love you Nainital," shouted Adi.

"Let's step in the train students," said Tara. She turned back for the last time to behold the beauty of Nainital before stepping inside the train.
"You are so beautiful. Thanks for giving us a wonderful time." Saying this, she waved her goodbye to Nainital.

"Joseph they reached station on time?" asked Mrityunjay seeing Joseph entering Shekhawat Mansion.

"Yes Sir," said Joseph.

"Keep my luggage in the car, we need to leave today." Saying this, Mrityunjay moved out of Shekhawat Mansion.

He stood outside Shekhawat Mansion and enjoyed watching the boats in Naini Lake, the silence of Nainital and each and everything of this place.
He loved looking at Nainital's beauty once again, which he was not interested in two days ago.

"Sir, we are ready to leave," said Joseph.
Mrityunjay sat inside the car and they left for Mumbai.

They stopped at the gas station to refuel the car.

Mrityunjay stepped down from the car to see the magnificence of Nainital for the last time. At the gas station, the radio was playing a song which was audible to Mrityunjay.

~Jise zindagi dhundh rahi hai kya yeh makaam mera hai
Yahan chain se bas ruk jaun kyun dil yeh mujhe kehta hai
Jazbaat naye se mile hai jaane kya asar yeh hua hai
Ek aas mili phir mujhko jo qubool kisi ne kiya hai~

Mrityunjay was gazing at Nainital's beauty standing outside the gas station, when an appeasing breath of Nainital ruffled his hair. He closed his eyes to fully enjoy that, when he saw it again, tulip fields and a girl standing there.

~Haan kisi shayar ki ghazal jo de rooh ko sukoon ke pal
Koi mujhko yun mila hai jaise banjare ko ghar~

He remembered Tara's gift. And moved towards his car.

~Naye mausam ki sehar ya sard mein dophar
Koi mujhko yun mila hai jaise banjare ko ghar~

He took it in his hand and after taking a small breath, he opened it. There was a red scarf in it. He touched it, it was soft. He smiled taking it in his hand.

Mrityunjay was remembering the incidents of the whole trip one by one.

~Jaise koi kinara deta ho sahara
Mujhe woh mila kisi mod par~

He remembered his first encounter with Tara on the terrace, where they didn't talk, just saw each other and ignored each other.

~Koi raat ka tara karta ho ujala, waise hi roshan kare wo shehar~

Yes, just like her name she is truly a Star who enlightens others' life.

~Dard mere woh bhoola hi gaya kuch aisa asar hua
Jeena mujhe woh phir se sikha raha~

He remembered their talk at Lover's point. Her view on life, her smile which was hiding her pain made him realize his pain was negligible in front of hers.

~Jaise baarish kar de tar, ya marham dard par
Koi mujhko yun mila hai jaise banjare ko ghar
Naye mausam ki sehar ya sard mein dopahar
Koi mujhko yun mila hai jaise banjare ko ghar~

Her view on life was changing Mrityunjay bit by bit.

~Muskata yeh chehara deta hai jo pehra
Jaane chupata kya dil ka samandar
Auron ko to hardam saaya deta hai
Woh dhoop mein hai khada khud magar~

Tara's smiling face on their last day's trip was marked in his mind, her smile which covered her sorrow for the sake of her students' happiness. Her attempts to make the last day of the students memorable. It was a face which can never be erased from his mind.

He was surprised to relate her with this song.

~Chot lagi hai usse phir kyun mehsoos mujhe ho raha
Dil tu bata de kya hai irada tera
Main parinda besabar tha uda jo darbadar~

Why he was relating her with this song?? When there is no relation between them, he didn't even know whether they would meet again. But still, he hoped to meet her once again in Mumbai.

~Koi mujhko yun mila hai jaise banjare ko ghar ...~

The song ended but Mrityunjay was still in his own world, confused, happy, sad when Joseph informed him about completion of their work at the gas station.

In the train, Tara was searching something in her purse when Mrityunjay's cigarette case came in her hand. She took it out, held it in her hand and smiled.

She was confused why and with what right she asked this from him? And he gave her without question. Why??

"Ma'am ..." Tara's thought chain broke after hearing Meethi's call. She kept the cigarette case carefully in her purse and then moved to attend her students.

Yipee...
The magic of my place worked on these two. They are now smiling. Smile is indication of their well-being and being recovered from pain.

But are they going to meet any time in future??

Tara has Mrityunjay's card. Will she ever ask him for help??

Mumbai is such a busy city, where people don't have time for their family members, then how will Mrityunjay have time for Tara??

All these questions, but the answers lie in the future. And I am sure Mumbai will keep me updated as I did.

Thanks Nainital for keeping me updated with each movement of my lovelies Mrityunjay and Tara.

I think they will meet. Yes, here people don't have time for their family but it's said that the world is round, who knows who you will meet at the next turn.
