I think so too. Someone mentioned that a humshakal might come in as Mjay but that won't cut it. It would be ludicrous to watch a new love story b/w Tara and some other guy after she's taken 21 pheras with Mjay.
He is definitely not dead, he will return. Question is will it be Viraf or someone else? Viraf's had very few scenes in the episodes since the MEs started. Either he's gotten lucky and gotten lots of unexpected free time due to the track or something fishy is going on😆

I agree with you Kala is the villan and taara the main support system but mj killing him for real is going to be a big blow to the trps 😲😲😲
