The phone rings..
"Hello" Neil answers.
"Hey Neil, its me Jay"Jay informs.
"oh hi Jay,..what up..is everything ok..? is Tara fine,.?."Neil inquires with a glint of concern in his voice.
"Hold on she is fine..I just called you abt this deal the company is gonna seal..can we meet?"Jay asks.
"Oh, that..yes of course..hm..tomorrow at office penthouse" Neil tells.
Jay hangs up saying"yeh that will do..bye cya there'
The next day Jay and Neil discuss abt the deal and its merits n risks..
As Jay leaves...Neil calls him..and asks ey Jay, I am going to the bar, you gonna come with me?'
Jay is taken aback by this..but yeh he agrees to go as its been a long time he had a friendly invite at the place by anyone..
Neil and Jay enjoy the bear at the bar...talking about deals, companies, cars ...they have a good time sharing events..
Neil leaves Jay at his place,...as Jay moves forth..he recalls something and goes to Neil...he is confused as to what Jay wanted to tell..
"Hey Neil, when is the next time?"
Neil at first puts a confused expression, but then realizes what Jay wanted to say...
"Very soon, I had a good time with someone sharing same interest as I do" Neil tells.
The next day Jay and Tara reach the court for the divorce proceedings filing petition for quick- mutual divorce starting with an appointment with the judge and their respective lawyers.
The judge asks Jay and Tara about what all has happened till now and how come they where kept in dark of this marriage...seeing details and the case the Judge gives a shocker that they can't just think marriage as some play..
She asks them to try and accept each other- they inform them abt how they where tricked into marriage which they never even imagined in their wildest dreams..
The judge asks them to try to stand each other and give the marriage a chance for the next 6 months, as they have already lived separately for 5months(which is needed for a mutual consent divorce petition as per the law..for the judge wishes to get a concrete reason to grant these two to stay separate and not knowing each other n getting married for father' wish was not that stronger for her to approve for their divorce ).. even after knowing that it was not exactly a complete marriage.. she asked them to honour Yash's wish - LAST wish for once.. and even after that they dnt jell up.. they are free to separate.. live together in one house for 6 months was the VERDICT.
The interregnum is obviously intended to give more time, thought and opportunity to reflect on their move..their decision...reconsidering or even seeking guidance and counsel from relatives/ friends in order to sustain their marriage. Tara felt that she was forcefully tied to a man she doesn't wish to live with,,,
Tara goes to the temple..her eyes search for the lady she met a coupe of times...there she sat on their spot...Tara goes to the lady and shares with her the news.
'I think jo hua acha hua..' says the woman
Tara is annoyed to hear this 'yeh kya kehri ho aap..meri jindagi yahan ek weird say mode say guzar rai hai and u say its good?'
The woman explains the young lady that its better to having come to a decision as all this go she was stuck..now she can stay stress free as she can get out of the unwanted relationship soon withiut any blame or guilt. its better for everyone..perhaps Jay too would get someone deserving as his bride. Its just a few months more she needs to bear all this
Tara had no choice but to follow it... she packs her suit case to head for Jay's home.
Tara is welcomed by Meethi.. she finds it weird a woman being so close to Mr serious.. who could she be.. is what she wondered.. Meethi warmly welcomes Tara with an arti and pulls Jay's leg.. seeing Tara's confused expression..
Jay clears her doubt that its his kid brother Adi's wife- Meethi.. she is kinda like a kid sister to him..What Tara found weirder was the house had only 2 people who lived in..and Adi would turn up every now n then.. she settles herself there.. seeing Tara try harder to settle.. he feels he have to buck up wid his plan now..
