I remember when I was a kid, I would associate Ram and Krishna with Arun Govil and Nitish Bharadwaj respectively because they were never seen in any other shows. Despite doing "Roadies", "Splitsvilla" and other TV soaps, if I have left an impact on people, it is an achievement," he says.
Vishal who keeps getting Punjabi film offers, tells us that if everything goes well, he will be producing a Punjabi film soon. "The market that Punjabi films have in the UK, US and canada is huge. Every Punjabi household watches Punjabi films to ensure their kids are connected to Indian values and ethics. The connection that one shares with apna pind (own village) in Punjabi films is so strong that nothing can be pitted against it. I want to make a film to help youngsters understand the problems people face when they go abroad. It isn't all that pleasant always," he explains.
The actor, who is very fond of shooting in Delhi, says that he would love to come back to the capital soon. "I'm so fond of the city that I would instantly say yes to a project that needs us to shoot in Delhi," he says, adding, "I want to shoot in Chandni Chowk and Sheesh Ganj Gurudwara. It will make for an interesting experience."
