Back to Dwaraka, SB tells Krishna, since he knows, this war will kill many lives, why doesn't he try to stop it, kill Gandhar Naresh Shakuni to stop this all. Krishna replies he can't interfere with Kalchakra, Shakuni is only initiating this war.Whatever is destined, that will happen.This is just the beginning.

Here Kunti is mentally conveying to Krishna, son you must have received my letter, come help & guide your brothers.

In Hastinapura, Shakuni asks Dhritrashtra, what have you decided? Dhritarashtra says as per NIti, Yudhishthira, who is eldest should be the King. Shakuni tells him But He doesn't belong to Kurukula, they all are Vayu, Indra, Ashwini Kumara's sons, they don't have Kurukula's blood.

SB asks Krishna, about this. He tells them how Pandava's were born. Durwasa muni was pleased by Kunti's sewa, so he gave her 5 mantras, to get sons like devas. When Pandu was cursed, that he can not touch his wife, he told Kunti to use those mantras to get powerful sons. Kunti prayed to Dharmaraaj, he gave her a son, when Pandu took him in his hand, there was an aakashwani, that this son of his will be called Yudhisthira, will follow path of dharma, will become a king, who will be known as dharmaraaj. Yudhisthira becomes expert in Bhala-yudhha. Elder Yudhishthira is shown with a bhala in his hand.

Then Pandu wanted a strong, powerful son, so Kunti prayed to Vayudeva, who gave her a son. There was an aakashwani about this son, will be called as Bheema, who will be an expert in Gada-yudhha, will be very strong & powerful, will be known as a symbol of strength, who also gets hungry fast. He is the younger brother of Pavana-putra, Hanuman. Elder Bheema is shown practising Gada.

Back to the introduction channel, JV & SB seems happy hearing this. JV says big warriers must be praying to god that they never have to face Bheema. There is a smile on Krishna's face, SB asks the reason, he says now their 3^rd brother, who is also my friend. We both are born again & again, but this birth is special, here I will be his friend, philosopher & guide, will also become his Saarathi in war.

Kunti is shown praying to Indra, who gives her a son, the aakashwani, says he will be known as Arjuna, an expert in Dhanur-vidya, will get various Divyastras & become an expert warrier. All the devas pour flowers on this child. Kunti is happy seeing this.

Dude, Satyabhama was royally pissed @ Shakuni today 🤣 So now, JS will be part of the Mahabharata? Actually, during the Pandava exile, Satyabhama did have a meeting w/ Draupadi, so I'm not in favor of her disappearing. But she does have very strong opinions about the Kauravas. I wonder how Jambavati will feel if and when her son Samba brings home Duryodhan's daughter?

I agree w/ Vaarali - Dhritarashtra's blindness was common knowledge. In Sambhava Parva (under Adi Parva) section 60, here is how Gandhari's marriage is described:

"Vaisampayana continued, 'Soon after Bhishma heard from the Brahmanas that Gandhari, the amiable daughter of Suvala, having worshipped Hara (Siva) had obtained from the deity the boon that she should have a century of sons. Bhishma, the grandfather of the Kurus, having heard this, sent messengers unto the king of Gandhara. King Suvala at first hesitated on account of the blindness of the bridegroom, but taking into consideration the blood of the Kurus, their fame and behaviour, he gave his virtuous daughter unto Dhritarashtra and the chaste Gandhari hearing that Dhritarashtra was blind and that her parents had consented to marry her to him, from love and respect for her future husband, blindfolded her own eyes. Sakuni, the son of Suvala, bringing unto the Kurus his sister endued with youth and beauty, formally gave her away unto Dhritarashtra. And Gandhari was received with great respect and the nuptials were celebrated with great pomp under Bhishma's directions. And the heroic Sakuni, after having bestowed his sister along with many valuable robes, and having received Bhishma's adorations, returned to his own city. And, O thou of Bharata's race, the beautiful Gandhari gratified all the Kurus by her behaviour and respectful attentions. And Gandhari, ever devoted to her husband, gratified her superiors by her good conduct; and as she was chaste, she never referred even by words to men other than her husband or such superiors.'"

In other words, Suvala did initially hesitate b4 agreeing to give her to Dhritarashtra. His bad-mouthing the parentage of the Pandavas was totally uncalled for - under Shastric laws, if a couple accepted a baby as theirs, that baby was theirs. Pandu himself asked Kunti & Madri to invoke the devas, so why question the legitimacy of the Pandavas? They could have shown the origin of the Pandavas w/o that crass comment by Shakuni.

They seemed to have changed the Devas. Dharma & Yama are one and the same, and they had shown Yamaraj when Krishna went to retrieve Kritavarma's son's soul, so why did they show someone different now? I liked Pavan, but they again changed Indra - they just showed him some weeks ago battling Krishna for the Parijat tree, so why didn't they show him again? Don't tell me he's gone Rukmini's way.

I liked the choices so far for Yudhisthir, Bhima & Arjun. Bhima, I was previously worried that they hadn't picked a body builder, but they had. And I do hope that they drop what they showed in the promos of giving Bhima a beard - he looked pretty ghastly there.

About Krishna's halographic TV, I'm dead against any of the Kauravas getting this beautiful home theater. Only the Pandavas should ever experience it. At any rate, Krishna will be in the battlefield, so there's no way he can show it to Dhritarashtra. After all, the remote to that TV is Krishna's finger, so how can he give it to anybody? 🤣 (If Indrajit's hairflicks in the ASR was one of the most entertaining parts of the show, Krishna's TV would be the one here 😆)

So tomorrow, he'll show Nakul & Sahadev? Incidentally, I liked how they showed Pandu, and hope Madri is good as well. Also, on Gandhari's side, wonder whether Krishna will show the birth of Duryodhan, which was a very ill omened event?

I agree with SB, if Krishna knows in advance, then who so ever is the initiator of future war, should be killed initially, to avoide it.

I thought they should have had Balarama & Revathy watching all this as well, but then again, they are busy ruling 😆

the actor who is playing Arjun played RAJA DUSHYANT in the sagar pictures show SHAKUNTALA on STAR ONE ...and he was not at all impressive in that show ...hope as ARJUN he does gud job...
the episode was fine.
