That's been a strange thing they showed, although they may have put it within margin of error 😆 What bothered me more than the omission of 100 was Krishna's other 5 wives being skipped. As you said, they probably didn't decide who Arjun should be, and Arjun was involved in getting Krishna Kalindhi, Mitravindya & Lakshmanaa. That's spoiled it for me even more than Jambavati giving Satyabhama the tulsi leaf to put on the scales.
The scene in which Krishna & Satyabhama hold the bow & together shoot the arrow was really well shot though the scene could have been better. But one thing that I have to agree is that the special effects are very well done. It clearly shows on screen
As vaarali pointed out, it looked like Krishna was teaching Satyabhama archery 😆 What was funnier is that Naraka was so shocked that he didn't even send an arrow to counteract it. But like I noted in the WU, the flying head was cool to watch 😎
There is improvement in the dialogue delivery in Satyabhama, but once she starts increasing the speed of her dialogue delivery, her pronunciation starts getting affected. But I guess she has tried her level best to maintain the correct attitude & body language needed in a situation like that. Well she's good; at least she's not so bad😉
I have mixed feelings about her. On one hand, I have to laugh when she demonstrates to Krishna that shooting an arrow is a piece of cake 😆. The scene w/ the dice game w/ Jambavati was both amusing and irritating @ the same time - amusing in that it was funny to see Jambavati's mood change, while irritating to see Satyabhama's character maligned in this way. Had she really been this disrespectful, Krishna may never have married her - much less had her as his fav wife (here again, I disagree w/ those who claim that Krishna had no favorites - even Draupadi mentions to Satyabhama that she's Krishna's fav, and that may be as a result of something she learned from Krishna, as opposed to Satyabhama)
Ok so the suicide attempting backdrop was used to have Krishna marry them. One thing that I didn't understand is if the women had to commit suicide then why they waited for Krishna to save them. Why didn't they try this earlier? I felt it was a pure insult to Krishna; did he save them so that they could kill themselves? They could have killed themselves earlier too, what was the need for Krishna to come for them then🤔
Yeah, I didn't get the point of that. They showed Krishna accurately describe why he decided to marry them, but that was not the result of any emotional blackmailing. Instead, Krishna told Bhagadatta to send them over to Dwarka, while he went w/ Satyabhama to Devalok to return Aditi her earrings.
But I admit the exchange of opinions between that woman & Krishna was really worth watching👍🏼 The women definitely made their points clear that their family won't accept them back as they've lived in Narka's palace for a long time. I liked the way Krishna admitted that woman have to go through a lot of tests to prove themselves in all the yugs & just loved it when she asked if a woman is not at fault then why only the women have to go through so many tests to prove herself in all the yugs. Great acting by Vishal & yes, Satyabhama's expressions was the icing on the cake!🤣 This girl is definitely proving herself slowly at least in my eyes😆
Yeah, like I pointed out earlier, Satyabhama's reaction was priceless 🤣 and worth more than even the Tulsi leaf that Rukmini, er Jambavati put on the scales 😆 One thing I disagree w/ many here - Krishna's wives knew that he belonged to all, but it's unrealistic to show them being happy whenever he'd return w/ more wives. No wife does that, not only b'cos of a sense of insecurity, which may be unjustified, but more so b'cos she'd think that she hasn't been able to adequately serve him, which is why he may be accepting more wives. In both the Ramayan serials (but not in Valmiki), Sita was shocked when she heard rumors that Rama might re-marry. To show Rukmini or Jambavati as being happy w/ Krishna's decisions defies credulity.

I mean only he & Satyabhama were on the garuda, don't tell me Krishna gave them wings to fly by themselves so they could reach Dwarka😕😆
In the original, Bhagadatta sent them to Dwarka. But here, it looked strange - Krishna & Satyabhama entered Dwarka not on Garuda but on a chariot, and the 16,000 followed them on foot, like they were Satyabhama's maids. I thought it reflected poorly on Krishna.
It was quite strange to see Satyabhama walk away without answering Balram. At least she should have showed some respect to him. That scene seriously made no sense in my POV. Loved that scene of Krishna in the middle playing his flute & his other queens dancing to his tune, especially Satyabhama. Btw why was Rukmini & Jambvanti missing?
Yeah, this too is what I was referring to - Satyabhama lacking manners of how to present b4 her elders - and Balarama was her jeth. Imagine how she might have behaved w/ Devaki.
Satyabhama is looking really pretty plus she has definitely improved in her dialogues too. She had the correct attitude & expressions on her face during all the scenes with Krishna & Narad👏 I'm falling in love with this actress already😆
Narad surely knows how to create smoke even when there is no fire & then add all the combustible substances available in the universe on it to make it even bigger🤣
Yeah, that's his specialty. Krishna should have sent him to create all sorts of misunderstandings within the Kaurava ranks, so that the Pandavas could have ruled Indraprastha in peace.
Wednesday epi was also good. The war sequence between Krishna & Indra was very good with all those weapons👍🏼 I've been noticing one thing about this actress who plays Aditi. She looks so depressed all the time😲 Even when she smiles it seems she's making a big effort & doing it unwillingly At least I felt this😕
I noted something odd about Indra's vajra in +* Krishna's diverse astra-shastras *+ and aside from that, it was good. Although I didn't agree w/ Aditi's claim that Indra was Krishna's brother just b'cos he was Vamana's - these relationships don't continue from birth to birth.
I have to admit though I'm falling in love with this actress Satyabhama, her character turns me off at times. My god! She's so rude I felt so bad for Jambvanti. Doesn't this girl thing before she speaks. If she is the avatar of Bhoomi devi, then shouldn't she be showing some maturity in her behavior. Yeah yeah she was proud but the Sagars seem to be exaggerating it😵 Seriously it's really unbearable at times to see her behavior. However I really liked that gesture of Krishna nodding his head when the flowers fell on the ground near Jambvanti's feet😊 That scene was really beautiful. Loved it completely!😍 But but but😲 😵shouldn't it be Rukmini instead of Jambvanti😡
I'd have been fine w/ Jambavati being given some scenes here, since there is nothing about her after she marries, unless they decide to show the marriage of Samba later and have scenes involving him that include her as well. But then, to be honest, all of Krishna's wives have very few scenes aside from their marriages. For Rukmini, there was Pradhyumna and Sudama: Tulabharam is a folk tale w/ no literary underpinnings. For Satyabhama, there was only the Narakasura expedition and her meeting w/ Draupadi. For everyone else, there was next to nothing.
I wonder from where the Sagars are collecting their info, seems they're not doing their research properly👎🏼 Looks like the Sagars wanted to give Jambvanti some screen space so thought to show her instead of Rukmini in this track. Such things really ruin my enjoyment while watching the serial😡 I really liked the way the Parijat track was executed but whenever I think it should have been Rukmini not Jambanti, it turns me off completely😭

Like vaarali mentioned, halwa seemed pretty anachronistic. They could have shown Satyabhama & Jambavati giving krishna makhan, since that's so well known about him, and maybe something else like rajbhog. The parijat tree looked like a big bonzai tree 😆 Talking about Narada, I preferred the one in ASR than the one here.
Friday...😡Well I can't even explain in words how pissed off I am right now after watching today's episode🤢 After seeing Jambvanti the one who suggested SB to place the Tulsi's leaf, it was enough for me😡 I just walked out of the room without watching the full episode & I don't think I'll want to watch it in future. I've always been tolerating the fictional tracks thinking that some amount of fiction is tolerable but replacing Rukmini with Jambvanti & distorting the facts is not something I'm going to tolerate at all👎🏼 Though the Parijat track had Jambvanti, still I was waiting for today's episode in the hope that at least they'll show Rukmini the most divine of the all as she is the avatar of Laxmi but nope, the Sagars poured lava on my hopes😭😡 I had already made up mind yesterday that if they still go ahead without Rukmini then I'm not going to watch it anymore
If they show anyone other than Rukmini give birth to Pradhyumna, I'll be pissed. I'd rather they just not show the Pradhyumna chapter @ all, and get to the Pandavas, and move to the Khandavprastha adventures w/ Arjun, the killing of Jarasandha and Sishupala and continue from there. If they do that, keeping just Satyabhama makes sense, since she is mentioned as having a long discussion w/ Draupadi.
I think Sagars were just not ready to bring this show on-air & did everything in a hurry whether it's their research about the mytho details or costumes or the casting. They're not following the chronological sequence of events, they're just inserting the tracks on the basis of the availability of actors, if they haven't found an actor for the track then they postpone that track for future & they don't even mind switching the characters👎🏼 This is definitely not the sign of professionalism👎🏼Sorry to say this but I think Sagar Arts could have done a better job than the Sagar Pictures. If this is the way the serial is going to shape up then I wonder, the negative reactions from the audiences won't fetch TRPs for the show... I never thought I would be saying this but for now, I'm done with this show. If they had at least showed Rukmini being the one who knows that the Tulsi leaf could do the miracle, I would have forgiven them for what they did in the Parijat track but...😭 😡
I dunno about that. Do you recall the Uttar Ramayan part of the ASR - the ones where Kush gets a herb to Valmiki's wife, worships a snake, takes on fake Rakshashas and goes on his swarna kamal adventures? Those were too much as well. And there too, they distorted - like having Shatrughan visit Valmiki when KL were somewhat grown, as opposed to when they were just born. Shatrughan's main significance was being @ their namkaran sanskar, but ASR conveniently dropped that in favor of their own story. I recall how pissed I was on seeing that. So I don't think the Sagar enterprise has it in them to make a long term mytho serial. Although it would be nice if in a serial, one could lock in w/ a contract actors like Vishal, Puneet, Lalit Negi (my choice for Arjun), Sneha Wagh (my choice for Rukmini) and a whole lot of others, and pay them for the entire duration of the show, no matter how major or minor their roles are). Oh, and how is costumes that complicated that Jarasandha looks like a Roman, Balarama like a Trojan, Sishupala like a Rajput and Rukmi like god knows what?
