Generation 5:A new chapter in Yrkkh
Radhika and Neil enjoyed the next hour of their date, though what they mainly did was turn their heads and look at the two lost love-birds ever so often. Arjun hadn't done anythig yet, all they seemed to be doing was laughing and eating. Radhika had relaxed a bit since she came. She loved Neil's company like anything. He was one of the few people who made her life worth living.
Radhika didn't know why, but her mind suddenly compelled her to look in Arjun's direction again. And this time when she did, she felt like the earth had just shifted beneath her feet. Arjun's face was dangerously close to Sam, their hands wound together, as he whispered something to her. Sam blushed, biting her lower lip and Arjun caressed her cheek with his fingers. Radhika looked away, suddenly wanting to be anywhere but here. She wanted to leave. Even though she knew she should not, she couldn't so much as bare to be anywhere within miles of the both of them. A tear silently trickled down her cheek, and before she knew it, Neil leaned forward and wiped it off.
"Why are you crying, Chashni? He is a master at casting spells. And by the looks of it, he has cast one on you too. Right?"
"There's nothing like that." Radhika denied in a weak voice.
Neil snorted dryly. "I know my Chashni. Since when did you start believing that you can lie to me?"
"I don't want to be here," her voice broke.
Neil's phone rang suddenly, and he excused himself to attend it. Radhika's heart dropped further. Every second was a walk through hell for her. And with neil gone even for a few seconds, she just wante to be swallowed alive. She looked around for something to do, when her eyes fell on the bottle of wine on the table. the waiter had decorously poured some of it into two glasses. Radhika remembered an incient from brid song, when she'd found Neil drunk and out of his senses. She'd somehow taken him home, without anybody spotting them. Next morning she'd asked him as to what had made him empty an entire bottle, and he'd given her a vague answer of alcohol being a heart-ache cure. Radhika had wondered almost the entire time since that day as to who could break the heart of a playboy like Neil. Now of course she could piece two and two together. This was the night before Sam and Arjun's engagement. And Neil had drunk himself to oblivion for not having to face the harsh reality of seeing the girl he loved with somebody else.
She knew what she wanted. Radhika was strictly a no-alcohol person. But today, if it could make her forget the pain Arjun had knowingly-unknowingly inflicted upon her heart, she saw no harm in it. She would rather not be in her senses than have to bare Sam and Arjun together.
She reached for the glass, but she found her fingers curling around the neck of the bottle instead. She touched the rim to her lips, and all that happened after...her brain didn't register.

"RADHIKA!" Arjun called out as he ran behind his out of control wife. God, this was turning out to be one hell of a night.
"WOOOHOOO!" Radhika screamed and ran along the deserted road, with her heels in her hand.
Arjun ran behind, worried she was going to bang into an approaching vehicle. Thankfully, his long legs took him to her pretty quickly. He grabbed her around the waist to stop her movement and jerked her behind, The heels fell from her hands, and her arms wounded round his shoulders.
"HEYYY!!!" Radhika shrieked like a baby who'd been prevented candy.
Arjun put a finger into the hole of his ear. "Stop screaming, Radhika."
"Then put me down!!! I want to runnnhh...!" her voice slurred more and more with every word.
"No. I am not putting you down. We're going home. That's it." his voice sounded stern, but Radhika was not in the frame to pay any heed to what he said.
"NOOO!!!" she screamed drunkenly again. "I am not going anywhere!!! I want to runnn!!!"
"Run WHERE?" he asked irritated.
Radhika smiled a typical drunk smile. "Home."
"That is where I am taking you, Radhika."
"No." she shook her head innocently. "That is not my home. I want to go...to my home. To my Dadaji."
Arjun couldn't keep the surprise from his face. "Hrishikesh?" he whispered.
She smiled the intoxicated smile of hers again. "You are SO smart Sir!!!" she clapped her hands like a little baby.
Arjun somehow kept himself from laughing. "And why is that?"
"Because you," Radhika placed a finger on his chest, "trouble me a lot."
"Oh really? How do I trouble you, Radhika?" He leaned in closer to her, his voice sounding husky as he breathed onto her neck.
"Y..you..."
"Yes? Yes me. Tell me...what do I do to you?"
His lips were now lightly brushing the column of her throat, and Arjun sighed in satisfaction when he heard the tell-tale sound of her breath hitching.
"Come on, Radhika. Why aren't you answering me? I should know how I trouble you right? Then speak. Tell me."
"You...you went on a date with her! Left me all alone! Every time when you're given a choice between me and her, you choose her! Like in the office the other day! I was so disappointed you know?!" she screamed, pushing him away.
Okay. He wasn't expecting that. Arjun was fully aware that it was the alcohol speaking and not her. Had she been in her senses, it would've been impossible to get anything out of her.
"I choose Sam. And that bothers you?"
"Of course it bothers me! Why wouldn't it?! I hate it when she's anywhere near you. I forget that she's my best friend. I just want to slaughter her alive!"
"Why Radhika?"
And that was the million dollar question. Even a drunk, out of her senses Radhika couldn't answer that. She suddenly stopped all her movements, his question hitting her like someone had splashed cold water onto her.
"Tell me why, Radhika. Come on. It bothers you. I get it. But why?"
"I don't know!" she screamed. "I just don't know. I knew I wanted to save this marriage because without me there, you would hurt Sam. Because your sister wants you to. But now...I don't know why, but I don't want to let you go! i just can't! I don't know when this fight turned from Sam's into my own! I didn't even realise it. But now I know that if I'm trying to stop you, it's not just because i care for Sam! It's for me! I don't want you near her! I just can't take it!"
Arjun reached forward and wiped the tears from her eyes, and in that moment, he saw something in her eyes that chilled him to the bone. She was in love with him. And the stupid girl probably hadn't even realised it herself.
Arjun pulled her into his arms, letting her sob into his shoulder.
"I'm sorry, Radhika. I'm so, so sorry. I never realised..."
She clutched at him like he was going to disappear any second, snuggling closer and pushing herslef into him as much as she could. Arjun patted her head softly, trying to calm her down. When she quietened, he picked her into his arms and carried her to the car.
Nandini was probably asleep, becasue the house was deadly quiet. Arjun placed Radhika onto their bed and walked over to the cupboard to get her some decent clothes. he was rummaging through the cupboard for something when he felt two slim arms snake around his torso, and the warmth of someone on his back. Arjun froze.
"Radhika?" he whispered.
She nestled her cheek between his shoulder blades and hugged him tighter.
"WHat is it? You want something?"
"Yes. You."
Arjun had never experienced an earth-pulled-from-beneath-the-feet moment before. But today was an exception in so many ways.
He turned around, fully aware of the fact that she didn't know what she was saying. He removed her hands off his body and held them in his gently, looking down into her eyes. "Radhika...relax. You don't know what you're talking about."
"I don't know anything, Sir. I don't want to think anything. Hear anything. I just want you. To myself. For this one night. You wanted to be my husband right? Then be. Love me like a husband loves his wife."
Arjun shook his head helplessly. "I can't...I can't Radhika. I just can't."
"You can, Sir. You can do anything to me. I'm your wife. Believe me, I want you to."
Arjun looked down at the floor, not recognising his own feelings at that moment. What was he supposed to do? He wanted her more than anything in the world, but he knew she was unaware of what she was talking. And if she woke up in the morning and regretted it, it would be the end of the world for him. And could he betray his Nandu like that? She had given him his divorce papers today. He was supposed to get them signed by the woman who was right now begging him for what his insides begged him for every day. Basically, everything was a mess.
"Come on, Sir. Do you have to think so much? i know you have your goal in life. And that we don't belong to the same team. That I will have to fight to keep you from reaching your goal till you realise the rectitude within yourself. But just for this one night...can't you give me what I want? I'm tired of fighting this attraction towards you. Tired of running away every time you come near me. Just tired of reminding myslef of my duties every instant. I want to finish this, Sir. Once and for all. I want tis one night to be ours. And nothing between us. Even if you have to get up in the morning and go back to fulfill your promise. I just...want to be yours for a night."
She held his hand in hers and walked him to the bed, looking up at him with sincere eyes. She really wanted this. Probably just as much as he did.
The soft, morning light that filtered through the windows of his room woke him up. He squinted as his eyes adjusted to the brightness, and the first thing he was made aware of was his nakedness. Arjun pulled his boxers from the pile of clothes that lay beside the bed on the floor, and pulled his sweat pants and a t-shirt over himself.
The moment he turned his head and found Radhika staring outside the window, wrapped in nothing but white sheets, his heart stilled. He walked over to her, wrapping his arms round her slim waist and kissing her bare shoulder from behind her. She was startled from whatever she'd been thinking, but the moment she looked around at him, he found a serene, saintly smile touch her lips, like she'd gotten what she wanted and now she didn't care if the world ended.
"Does your head ache? You had a bit too much yesterday. And since your a first timer, a hangover is expected."
She shook her head. "Nothing yet."
Arjun smiled. "Good. You'll tell me if any such thing happens."
She nodded. Her phone rand suddenly out of nowhere, and Arjun heard her sigh.
"What happened?"
She shook her head. "Nothing. It's Neil. He's been calling since morning. I don't have the strength to talk to him right now. He's going to scold me like anything."
Arjun nodded in understanding. "He must be worried. We all were, yesterday."
"What happened exactly? I don't remember much..."
Arjun smiled. "You were more than half the bottle down. And Neil couldn't control you. He was trying to take you home when I noticed. When I recovered from the shock of seeing you there in that state, I told Sam that I needed to take you home. Neil wasn't ready to give you away. He told me that he'd do what was needed. But when Sam intervened, telling him that you needed your husband at that moment, he let you go."
Radhika looked surprised. "Sam said that?"
Arjun nodded. "I was surprised too. But then I realised that your friendship is not something that merely a man can break. She still cares for you like she did back then, Radhika. She was so worried..."
Radhika looked down at the floor, and Arjun placed his fingers beneath her chin to make her look up again. "It's not easy to not care for a person like you, Radhika. And anyway...even if she hadn't, I wasn't letting you go alone with another man in that state."
Radhika smiled.
"So I brought you home. And then..."
"It's okay. I know the rest of it." Her cheeks turned the shade of beetroot, but as Arjun looked at her closely, he did not find what he was searching for. Regret. She seemed completely okay with whatever had occurred. Arjun had never felt more relieved before in his life of 26 years.
"Are you...okay?"
Radhika smiled. "OF course, Sir. Dadaji has taught me never to regret in life. And I told you, I wanted to end the restraints on myself. I'd never wanted anything so much in my life. So relax. I'm okay. I just hope I didn't force you into something you didn't want to do."
Arjun snorted. "Don't take my hestitation otherwise, Radhika. You knew why I was hesitant. There was no force, trust me. I've wanted you since the day I laid eyes on you."
"Why do I find that hard to believe?"
HE laughed again. "Because I never let it show up. I always behaved ruthlessly with you. But it was only because I knew I had to keep myself away. I couldn't have let myself lose. Because you would take me away from what I lived for. And you know what helped me?"
She shook her head. "What?"
"You. Your hatred for me. I knew if I ever tried to come close, you would only feel disgusted. But when I saw it wasn't so...that you were fighting the same pull that I was, I knew it wouldn't be long before I give in. So no. There was no force at all, Radhika. I wanted it more than you."
"Now you sound convincing." she smiled. "I better get dressed."
Arjun pulled her in for a kiss before he let her go off to the bathroom. He looked around his room---the sheets were messy, their clothes lay tangled with each other beside the bed on the floor...and he didn't know why, the same room he'd lived so much of his life in, now seemed different. Like it always belonged to her...like it had always waited for her. Her scent lingered in the room and the feel of her body lingered in Arjun's heart. And he knew it was going to be like that forever...
Arjun stared out unseeingly through the window in his cabin. It had been two days since the fateful night of their date. And these had been the best two days of his life. Radhika had completely changed. She'd given into her feelings for him completely, not holding back even an ounce. Whenever looked at him, she smiled shyly. When he touched her, a pale blush spread across her cheeks automatically. She expressed herself in small, sweet gestures. Arjun didn't remember ever having been so happy in his life. He wanted to be around her all the time.
A strange feeling crawled up the pit of his stomach as he remembered the night before yesterday. God, how was he ever going to stop thinking about her?
Arjun had thrown her on the bed after he'd felt her delicate fingers tighten around his. That and the look in her eyes had been the end of his control. The end of his patience. The end of the chains that had uptill now reigned the monster within him. It was now out, and the woman looking up at him with soft desire in her eyes was to bear the consequences of her actions. He'd ripped the soft silk dress hiding her delectable body from his eyes. he wanted to devour her whole and complete today. With no thought in his mind other than the sensations the woman evoked within him, he caressed every single curve in her body, his hands grazing over every square inch of her skin. When he'd removed every single barrier of cloth between them, the sight of her naked body had made his heart freeze.
"Incredible," he'd whispered in awed wonder.
He didn't know how many times he kissed her. he just went on doing it, unable to pull his lips away from her. Arjun marked her as his in more than one places, in more than one ways. When his teeth sank into her juicy skin, he didn't even care that she might be hurting. he just wanted to make her his. Just tell the world she was taken. Tell her that she belonged to him.
And when he entered her? it was unlike anything Arjun had ever experienced before. Wave after wave of pleasure crashed over him, every time his name left Radhika's lips, his heart skipped a beat. Being inside her took him to numerous heights of pleasure, ones that he didn't even know existed. And with the way Radhika writhed beneath him, he knew it was the same for her.
he'd certainly created more problems for himslef by giving in to what he wanted. Now that he'd had her once, he wanted her again. And again. And he was not letting her go this time.
Arjun had feared this since he'd met her. He'd vowed, vowed to never let the allure of that woman pull him in. Vowed to not let himslef get affected by her. But in the end, it had all gone in vain. A voice inside chided him on how weak he was. So many months of control, and all it took was her saying oncce that she wanted him, and he couldn't stiop himself.
But now he knew it was the end of his game. Now that he knew that she loved him, now that he'd received it from her all through these two days, he knew he wasn't going to be able to live without it. He had been right in fearing her. He couldn't go back now. he couldn't give her up again for the sake of his sister. He had lost the battle with himself. Now it was her, or it was nothing.
A knock on the door brought him back to this world, and he was surprised to see it was Radhika.
"Sir, the report you had asked Neil for. He's unwell actually, so he went home."
She came forward and placed the report on the table. "Did you have your lunch, Sir?"
He smiled. "Yes. Yes, I did, Radhika. Thankyou."
She smiled back at him before turning and leaving. Arjun stood up, feeling stronger than ever. Yes. He was going to do the right thing. For her.
