I had this doubt in my mind from a long time but I couldn't ever say this as I found it may be taken in the wrong way and it was as well taken in the wrong way which wasn't surprising. I don't want to make myself look low but I don't appreciate the way CVs are showing Neil and Sam's friendship. Now I just want to know the opinion of forum members as to how they feel about NeSam's friendship being portrayed by CVs.

I started watching the show during the Lonavala track and found NeSam's relationship very cute. The way Neil tries to cheer up Samaira and she loves his company was worth watching. However, I did not appreciate the friends to share the same room in the Lonavala hotel as that went overboard. It was fine if they were in a group but just two friends in a hotel room looked really odd TBH. Neil and Sam never appear as a brother and sister to make it look logical.

Samaira has always considered Neil her friend and their friendship is definitely pure but the way it's being portrayed is not right IMO. Even Sam buttoning his shirt is fine but friends dancing on the song Tip Tip Barsa Pani on a sangeet is just too much. If it was Neil and Manya as well it was fine as Manya isn't getting married but with regards to Samaira and Neil, it dint look good.

I feel the CVs aren't portraying them as friends but since Neil loves Sam it makes them look like a couple.

Disclaimer: I'm only posting my opinion and it's not meant to offend anyone. Kindly avoid bringing other characters and comparing them and NeSam as it might make this thread look negative. I want honest views about the portrayal of two friends and hence I am asking this question. Comments are welcome but kindly avoid any sort of bashing.

Nice post Erika,...
Even i found it weird 4m starting,...

When sam was upset during her mom's patchup presentation,...

Neil hugged her n wiped her tears so normally which a normal friend cant do in a rest room,...my 1st thought was these 2 love each other but after watching many epi,..i slowly understand tat sam considered him as a friend,...

Even neil hesitates most of the time,..in the hotel,he asked 4 2 separate single rooms but sam wants single double room n so they can watch films with bf at n8 alone,...

this looks some wat weird 2 me,...

i hope u may get answer 4 ur sensible question,...

So true. I don't know why CVs are trying to show them as a couple rather than just normal friends. If they were 3-4 friends in a group on a trip also it was fine but it dint look good to make Neil and Samaira stay in one hotel room.

@bold: Yeah, Sam asked for 1 room while Neil asked for 2 😕

I didn't find it odd because they are bachpan ke friends. I don't really discriminate between ladki and ladka so imagine if it were 2 best buddies like 2 guys who are like bros & sharing a dorm room.😆 They can stay in the same room right? So, I guess to each their own 😊
Lekin... BUT.. The odd thing about this is that Neil is doing A LOT for Samaira and Sam is not caring much about his feels! THAT is extremely weird- like HOW can she IGNORE him like that? It almost makes her appear as mean and selfish. Why taking him for granted? Why NOT digging in to gauge his true feelings? Why is she NOT interested in knowing more about her "idiot" without whom she refuses to take the crucial decisions of her life? It's like she WANTS her "idiot" to be hovering around, but doesn't want to recognize him as more than a friend. What is she afraid of? If he's SO important, then why not take this relationship further? What's stopping her from doing so?
If Neil moves on and decides to settle down with some other girl, tohh do you think Saminder Singh would leave them alone? Nope. She would still want Neil to be around- like a babysitter. That's the Problem!
Ladki ho ya ladka, no one should feel 'used' up or should be taken advantage of in a friendship. Bass, thats all I know and that's my only problem with NeSam's bond. 😊

That's good if you consider ladka and ladki the same 😳😆

I find it odd because for me friends should be like friends and yeah, 2 girls/2 boys staying in 1 room would be fine rather than the opposite genders 😛😆

Sam doesn't understand his feelings as may be there's some thing lacking in her friendship or may be she can't sense his feelings the way he does. She lacks the capability to understand her friends I guess.

For me , I see them more like a married couple, there are no barriers between them. Subconsciously they are life partners .each others support system which has gone beyond physicality.
Neil has realized it, Sam hasn't

Thats why I feel the next step in their love story should be marriage , they are far beyond the dating stage and getting to know or understand each other stage.

Once married, Sam will definitely see him more than a friend and realize what Neil has realized long time back.

MY POV:
Sam lived in neils house too so for them its nothing new
i remember a scene during lonavla trip where neil takes sam on his back like kids do
their friendship is beyond gender, time, physical proximity..they behave same way like they did in bachpan
had neil been a girl or sam been a boy then its ok right??for nesam they are just friends not boy as friend girl as friend
neil is like 3 am 4 am friend to sam
and abt sam being ignorant
she gets engulfed in her pain or happiness that she cant see anything beyond that
it was always like sam was in pain n neil supported her so she got habituated to that
she is poor in knowing others feelings be it neil arjun or rads but once she knows she takes action like she did when neil confessed
