My word, this is beautiful.
One side a man betrayed by his love.
Other side a misunderstood soul in heartbreak.
Beautifully portrayed. Please continue and PM me when u do so.
"Sam, Sam...believe me. I did not do anything. Believe me, Sam."
"I...I don't know, Radhika. I...don't know how to react. You...I've seen proofs!"
"Proofs? It is not at all necessary that whatever you see will be true! And you trust some proofs over me!?"
A lone tear escaped Radhika's eyes as she picked up those broken glasses. Broken, wasn't her heart broken too? As she stood up, she found the bedsheet and some of her dupattas crumpled up in one corner of the bed. Tears started to flow from her eyes. In just one day her whole life had turned upside down. Her best friend lost faith on her, her parents, her parents didn't trust her and the person whom she believed would trust her, had left her. She did felt bad that her own parents were not sure to trust her. But what irked her the most was that Arjun didn't trust her. Didn't he know her? Was she so low in his eyes that he... he suspected her? And all this, all this chaos was created by her to be husband, Saral. The glass pieces fell down from her hand as she thrusted herself to the ground, crying.
"Saral, you cannot do this. Please, go tell them the truth." She cried as she saw him entering the room.
"Why not?" he said with a wicked smile playing on his lips.
"Why would you? You, you are engaged to me. Why would you do this to your own fianc?" Radhika cried as she stepped back.
"Oh come on, Radhika. We both know that you don't want to marry me now. Or do you?" Radhika felt numb. Did she really want to marry him? Did she really...her thoughts were broken when she heard the door being closed.
"What...what are you doing? Why did you close the door" she asked nervously. But Saral was not in a mood to listen. He slowly walked towards her. Seeing this, Radhika too started walking backwards only to be hit by the bed. As Radhika fell on it, Saral grasped the opportunity and pounced upon her. Closing her mouth by one hand and wrapping both her wrist by the other, he stared at her. Radhika had tears in her yes. She was turning here and there to get away from him when her eyes met his gaze. There was something hypnotic, snakelike about his stare. She had never seen this side of Saral. The Saral she knew was her friend, was polite, kind, dumb. But this person was another. And she was scared. A lot.
"Scared?" he hissed bringing his lips near her earlobes and hence, covering her completely with his body. Radhika, afraid of the possible upcoming situation, started turning here and there only to get a slap from Saral. Blood started to come out from her lower lip as she turned her face. Then taking out a handkerchief from the pocket of his jeans, he covered her mouth with it. Radhika let out a moan. Her torn lip had stretched due to tying up of her mouth and more blood was oozing out from it. Saral stood up and went towards her cupboard. Radhika took the opportunity and quickly stood up. She saw him busy taking out some of her dupattas and then she turned her gaze towards her left to find the lamp post which Samaira had gifted her. Taking it in her hand she slowly walked up to him. And as soon as he turned, Radhika hit the lamp hard on his head.
"Aargh!" he screamed as blood oozed out from his head. He quickly untied the handkerchief and was about to open the door when he again turned her around and pinned her to the wall. Anger and hatred was clearly seen in her eyes. Saral smirked at this and as he trailed his fingers on her cheeks, he continued speaking, "Why don't you be mine, Radhika? Please me, and I'll give you all that you want. Marry me and I will take back my words." Radhika looked up at him surprised. He leaned to kiss her neck when she pushed him back.
"I am not your prey, Saral!" Radhika screamed. "I am not going to believe you anymore. After what you did now and before, I would rather kill myself than to marry you."
Revenge had taken the better of Saral and he was blinded by his infatuation towards Radhika which he claimed to be Love. As soon as Radhika finished, he grabbed her again, this time, with much power. Sliding his hand beneath her kurta from behind, he thrusted his lips upon her. Seeing her cry, his soul made a victory dance. "You've given me so much pain, Radhika Mishra. Now see what I will do to you." Saral said moving his face behind. He looked at her hands which he had twisted behind her back and smirked. And before Radhika could do anything, Saral bit her lower lip causing her to moan in pain.
After about half an hour, he got up from over her, groomed himself and went out of the house leaving a shattered Radhika.
The snake had left his venom all over the body of his prey.
"Aargh!" she screamed in pain when a glass pierced through her hand causing her to come out of her thoughts. Pricking up the glass from her hand, she stood up, wiped her tears and moved towards the bed to pick up all the dupattas.
