If he is protecting her, then from what? I know the Cvs have managed to be very vague in his description of revenge and towards who it is directed at exactly. But burning her pics, walking into her apt at night doesn't look like protection, no?

well Radhika I don't see any point of protection here I second your thoughts as you said the revenge story is quite illogical it better be good enough to support his insanity offlate having said that I wouldn't be convinced to say he is actually innocent hypothetically if we assume that Sam was responsible for Nandini's condition yet she was a kid taking that as no excuse also she doesn't deserve betrayal and mental trauma .Secondly ,if his primary target is Sammer then it is disgusting that he is using an innocent girl and making her a scape goat to fulfill his revenge motto .In either of the cases he cannot hide behind the mask of a tragic past and get away he has to take the responsibility for his insanity as there are certain aspects like getting intimate which donot come within his " genuine" so called revenge boundry.

Nice post, agree with the definition of hero and tragic hero, and at the moment Arjun's character doesn't fit any of the category, as per on going track he comes of as an antagonist more.. bt still i think its too early to judge him or call him psychopath... i'll wait till his past gets revealed.. i think intentionally or unintentionally Samaira did something which changed his life, and due to that he lost Nandini!!

But guys I have mentioned this in another post aswell no matter whatever be his motives I guess he wont reveal it this early to Sam and most importantly it might turn out to be light hearted as Arjun knows to entice manipulate and Manage.

Well not going to comment of rest of the post as your definition perfectly fits some epic character of classic English shows - House MD and Sherlock are just two examples .. and these 2 men no matter what anyone call Psychopath or a sociopath are amazing and extraordinary by every means .. won't say the same about Arjun simply because I don't have any idea what he is .. we need to know a lot more about him to make him fit in a category

I completely agree with this post but in regards to real life not reel life

In reel life such characters make things interesting add drama and spice and they keep you guessing

Hindi TV serials are full of such guys since they make the story interesting

A group of good people doing good things wont make for an interesting storyline

Secondly though Arjun's intentions are to harm Sam he hasn't actually done anything till now i am not sure if i have missed something

Thirdly i read an interesting quote few days back that every villian is a hero in his mind and until one gets inside that mind and understands him its hard to judge a character.So basically until we know the reason why he wants to harm Sam or why he hates her hmm its difficult to judge him.He may or may not have a strong reason or even his reason may or may not justify his actions but atleast it will help in understanding him.

Its also possible that he has some silly reason then he will really be crazy but personally without knowing the reason why he is doing what he doing its hard for me to judge him.

So lets see.But ya in real life if a girl meets a mysterious and sometimes weird guy like Arjun she should run far away.There is a big difference between real life and reel life

So Aham Sharma's roles are going in the reverse direction - from a Tragic Hero in MB to a Stalker in this show...😆
