A hero rises above the circumstances that he finds himself in and does acts of bravery or nobility. He may at times find himself trapped by his own weaknesses, but he never manipulates and plans an innocent victim's downfall, with pretend empathy and self-deceiving tears, while turfing responsibility for his own criminality to yet another
criminal.

A tragic hero is basically a virtuous soul who is destined for disaster, not on account of his own deliberate criminality, but on account of his own nobility

Arjun's behavior is definitely that of a stalker and may even fit the profile for a psychopath. The way he is written at this time in the show, makes him a criminal. What I do not understand is how a creative team consisting of presumably sane people, can think that this kind of behavior is what constitutes a hero, even a tragic one. I hope that any redemption they have planned for him involves a lot of soul searching and admittance of guilt rather than discovery of misplaced blame for the death of his loved one.

How can u break into a gals house in the middle of the night and cut off the power? So disgusting! The problem is indian audiences romanticise these actions and find it 'hawt' 🤔 way to go in turning Arjun into a creepster! If the guard had broken into Radhika's home ppl would have gone eww but since it's Arjun it's A-Okay coz hey! Chk out the abs. I seriously hope they get this character on the right track to justify his stalkerly tendencies.

Anu, for me he has lost the ability to be a hero. Let him be an Anti-hero. His actions till now have been very creepy. I'm disappointed with the Cvs, that they think, they can turn him into a romantic hero by enacting all these intense scenes with the girl. What ever his reasons for torturing Sam, I personally don't think there is a redemption for his Character anymore. Assault doesn't have to be physical. He is definitely a stalker and very close to becoming much more. Entering a girls house, catching her unawares with sinister thots, does not make him a hawt lover boy from any angle.

If and when there is a redemption track, like u said (Anu), other than a lot of soul searching, I would like them to forgive and move on. His admittance of guilt and being remorseful shouldn't be the reason for him to pair up with either of the girls. Deserving a second chance is highly overrated in some circumstances, and this happens to be one, acc to me.

BTW, Aham is playing the part to the T. I almost want to overlook the creepy/sinister feeling, just by looking at him😳

Agree nd i really dont understand why anyone would want a guy like him to b paired with either girls 😕 he already knws sam is a broken girl nd has seen her at her worst then wonder why he wants to torture her more 🥱 according to flashback Arjun was young when that femaledied so its obvio sam was also .a minor so no way his behanvr is justified...As a sam fan i really dont want him paired opp her if he is gping to b then i want a proper redemption track!!

I think the CVs are under the impression that being good looking is enough redemption😆. That, and giving soulful looks with eyes swimming with tears😭😆. Or may be having a tragedy in the background.

Anu di I feel the CVs have written a 50 shades of Arjun .This one is certainly not a romantic track where he can get away by wooing after breaking into a girl's house by tricking .But I think its too early to tag his character as a physcopath .

He is turning out yo be an anti hero... i really never ever like his stalking habits and he is forcing his demands on sam like date condition.. i am sure he has something else on his mind other than revenge coz his physical intimacy with sam indicates that thing..and breaking into a girls home at midnight with literally cutt off power switches is not romantic by any stretch ..

Precap was really scary I don't appreciate of one bit of the entering the house and covering the girl mouth. Though I am big samarj shipper but still I don't like it if it is Sam in the place and he do the same covering her mouth it is not romantic and if they show eyelocks and falling and catching scene sorry I will lost my respect of Radz instead of beating him and shouting if she locks her eyes with a person who is just gate crash then sorry radz is no better than Gul herione

Anu, it is too early to judge Arjun. Though I don't like most of what he does, we cannot say a final word until his past completey gets revealed. What if he actually turns out to be opposte to all what you wrote? Exceptions are possible for everything. And always, always definitions describe only ideal stuffs. Ideals exist only in theories, not in any reality. The constant of every equation is not there in real life. So I prefer to accept the flow & wait for the unknown rather than anticipating & spoiling the beauty & thrill of what awaits.
